“I’ve shopped several DG locations across the state of TN over the last few years, including this one when I used to work in the area as it was on my commute. This was my first visit in a couple of years and wow! A lot has changed! The staff has always had great customer service but, where many DGs fall short, the store was very well stocked, neat and clean. Especially the restroom. This is a store I would go out of my way to visit with the exceptional customer service Patrick and Nelson!”

“I've seen messy Dollar Generals, and I've seen clean Dollar Generals. This one, despite the Help Wanted signs around the store, is one of the cleanest Dollar Generals I've ever seen. If I lived closer, I'd visit it more frequently.

The store was also well-stocked and very tidy. I didn't see any employees besides the cashier, but it's clear that all the employees care about keeping the place running.”

Aside from cat litter, I was able to purchase toys, solid food, a litter box, a collar, treats, and wet food for such a decent price. I thoroughly enjoy shopping at this Dollar Tree location. I am 36 weeks pregnant, and am supposed to be on bed rest after several times of pre-term labor. My father had an emergency last week and was in the hospital, had several surgeries, and was just released today. I was attempting to get him all the things he needs so I could finally rest, and dollar general was my last errand to get some distilled water for his cpap machine. The shelves were empty. They had clearly just gotten in a truck and had carts of merchandise everywhere. An associate, Don, asked if I needed assistance, and went to hunt for it elsewhere. We finally found several bottles at the very bottom of a cart underneath lots of heavy things. I didn’t want him to go fishing for me, I offered to run to the next one up the road, but Don cheerfully tore down the cart full of heavy stuff just to get me the one bottle I needed for my dad. I was working really hard to cover it up, but I was nearly in tears as I stood there in pain having contractions. I’ve been to this store a million times and I’ve never seen Don before, so I’m presuming he’s new, but he is by far the best employee I’ve ever encountered in a Dollar General. I really hope you guys can give him the recognition he deserves, bc he definitely did not have to do the things that he did and went above and beyond to help me.”

“It’s fairly well stocked most of the time. This store does seem to have an issue with employee retention but a lot of stores do these days. However, most of the rotating employees are nice and friendly. Overall, nice store”

“So this Family Dollar location has definitely improved a lot over the past cpl of yrs. I am not ready to leave a 5 star review but I did go from a 3 to a 4 Star giving the changes that have been made and the fact that there is effort being made for further improvements. I am not going to say that the management has improved considering it's the same guy but the staff that's there actually doing the work shows that they do care about their jobs and take pride in what they do and to me that goes a long way. There are a few really good people that work there I just hope they stay since this place doesn't keep employees long every cpl of days it's a new face but honestly I can't blame them. Although at the moment they do have plywood on the doors due to the locals who would rather rob and steal as opposed to getting a job. Keep up the good work !!!”

“I frequent this store at least once a week. Went in today and got in Elizabeth's lane. Everything was fine until I asked for the total. At which time she replies "oh I thought you seen it on the screen. Most people pay attention to that". She then sticks her hand out for payment. Keep in mind she still hadn't told me the total. So I turned the keypad to her to show her that the total wasn't on that screen. She then replied "you must not be having a good day cause it don't seem like it" still not telling me the total. Finally she told me the total. At this point, I was so flustered at the disrespect, I almost walked away without my purchase. Her response? "Ma'am now here I am helping you out, you forgot this". She doesn't seem like a people person at all and is in the wrong line of work. That's absolutely not how you talk to customers. I don't know if she was mad that she had to work today, or mad that she had to open a register. But neither were my fault. That's a terrible way to treat paying customers. I'll drive to another location before I willingly allow someone to talk to me in that manner.”

However, they did have some quick and in expensive ($1.25) car cleaning items like Armor All, window cleaner, tire & rim cleaner, and new car scent. Just what I was looking for.
