Only went for the playground. It was gross with lots of “homeless” shopping carts full of things all over. I wasn’t able to even get my kids out of the car. Super disappointing.

Had to be in Nashville for errands & Googled parks nearby. Could not be happier with this find! Had all the playground equipment the kids wanted, shade to cool off when needed & oh my Goodness, BEAUTIFUL walking trails! Kids decided they wanted to "hunt seashells'' before we left. Absolutely loved this park! Will return if we are in the area again!

A nice little walking trail is surrounded by plenty of greenery and provides a refreshing breath of fresh air. However, the only downside is that there is some noise from the nearby highway. Overall, it's a decent trail

I GAVE IT TWO STARS BECAUSE THERE'S TRASH ON THE PLAYGROUND, THE PORTABLE BATHROOM TOILET IS NOT CLEAN AT ALL. BUT I DID SEE THE OTHER DAY SOMEONE COME PICK UP TRASH AROUND THE PARK AND DUMP THE CANS. MY KIDS ATTEND THIS PARK ALMOST EVERY DAY BECAUSE THEY'RE IN LOVE WITH THE NATURE WALKSPlayground: THE PLAYGROUND HAS SHADES OVER IT WHICH MAKES IT EASY FOR THE TO ENJOY THEIR PLAY TIME WITH THE SUN BEAMING DIRECTLY ON THEMRestrooms: THE PORTABLE RESTROOM IS BEYOND FILTH..MAYBE BECAUSE THERE'S ALOT OF HOMELESSNESS AROUND THE AREA.

Beautiful trails for jogging, walking or walking your pets. Play area for children, and wide spaces to play soccer or frissbee.

I had some time to kill before a meeting and found this great park. It was a pleasant walk and an enjoyable way to spend a little time away from the hustle of the day-to-day grind of modern life. There were quite a few people in the park, just enjoying the park.We need parks. We need parks both as a community and individually. We need a place where we as a community can gather in recreation. We need a place to escape the asphalt and steel of the world that we created and retreat back to the world as we as a species found it. We need these plots of unblemished nature. We need it and our souls need it.Overall, I will give Whitsett Park five stars and if you find yourself in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping by Whitsett Park. I am confident that you will enjoy this particular park. Go check it out yourself, even if to unwind for just a little while.
