So it is hard to differentiate the problems that we had with the insurance and the shop. What I can say is that every time I had to interact with the shop, the staff was incredibly polite and quick to get back to me. I have to get some more repairs done in a few months and will give them another chance.

I took my car to a Gerber collision on Charlotte Ave in Nashville, TN at the recommendation of my insurance company. The people who work there were very polite when you talk to them except the phone does disconnect if they do not answer the first ring.My car was rear ended. It took 3 and one half months to get my car repaired including the date when I could turn it in and the little over six weeks it was at the shop. To my knowledge there was no problem getting any parts to repair the car. The work seems to be well done, and the car looks very nice from what I can see. I have heard good things about Gerber; however, I believe this shop suffers from not enough workers and/ or customer service.I would suggest unless you want to have lengthy rental cars, please look at the reviews for the other Gerber shops and choose one of those.

You may have to wait a little bit but is worth it. The best are always in demand. Lisa, at the front desk, is a wonder and I can not say enough nice things. I had never dealt with a car rental and she took care of all of that. She was always nice when I called to ask about the status of the repair. They even vacuumed all the straw in the back of my vehicle. It took a while but that was because of waiting for parts than getting it painted. When you use the best and in-demand you do not mind the wait.

Called Nov 20 to schedule an estimate. They could not schedule an appointment for me until December 15. I was told that after they did the estimate, they could not work on the car until February.

Run do not have your car repaired here. BTW I DON'T POST REVIEWS! 2 years ago I got a new car much bigger than my one, and was trying to park in a very small spot in a garage with those big pillars. I scratched the rear door and panel. They charged me $2600. It took 3 tried before they got the color correct and it still wasn't that good. 2 years later I was in a dark garage I was parking and I scratched the bumper on a small black Pole it had several scratches on it. It was not cracked it was not dented. They charged $2200. They said they had the colored saved in the computer and they would be able to do it no problem. Wrong wrong!! After 2 tries it's still not correct and they're saying too bad we're not doing it again.. It meets Industry standards. It sucks!

Excellent service from the first phone call for an appointment to driving away after the repair is complete! These people do an outstanding job and could give classes to other businesses on how to treat customers! Highly recommend them!

Lisa is 100 % a pro at answering your questions to help you navigate the tricky dos and don'ts of auto repair. Even though there's a backup pretty much everywhere for appointments to get an estimate, she helped me get in about a month after I initially called for an appointment. On the estimate side, Kent walked me through what he planned to do and how he would rewrite my initial photo estimate from Geico. Didn't end up getting the repairs after Geico said that my 2004 Nissan Pathfinder had too much damage, but I'll be going back to Gerber on Alabama Ave. again if I get into any kind of auto body pickles as long as I'm a Nashville resident. Went to get an estimate on damage to passenger door. John looked at it and said he thought the damage was mostly paint from the wood my daughter side-swiped. He used a chemical rub and a buffer and the door looked like new. Asked what I owed and there was no charge! Love honest businesses!
