Our stay was short and sweet. The hotel was nice and the service was friendly. The only issue I have was I made a reservation roughly 4-5 days before we were going to stay and the price was about $320 for one night. When we arrived to the hotel, they said it was $420 as our reservation did not reserve the price. Maybe I misread somewhere when I was putting in the credit card information while making the reservation or misunderstood when I was emailed the confirmation email along with a price stating $320, but this was annoying. Still was a decent price for the time and location at $420.

I just returned from spending Christmas at Waymore's. What a wonderful hidden gem. From walking into the lobby and feeling right at home to the comfortable guest rooms and the wonderful staff. Summer, Sariah and Han (sp?) created a memorable experience and I will be returning. I am a recruiter by trade and these 3 are the kind of people you want representing your brand. Even though it was Christmas, there was always cold water and drip coffee available. They even served brunch on Christmas Day until 12 noon. The Sammy is to die for! Until next time.....Rooms: While not fancy, they are more than adequate. The bed was comfortable and the entire room/bathroom was clean.Safety: Front door and elevator, key access only. Felt very safe.Walkability: You need it? You can walk to it!Food & drinks: The food was delicious and would recommend the Sammy, the Western Omelet and the Great Breakfast.

Such a great gem in Nashville!I was looking for the sweet spot of having a hotel with a walkable neighborhood, affordable parking and a bar on site. The neighborhood was super walkable, we sent to Park City donuts, Butcher and Bee, Smith and Lentz and Up Down all within 2 blocks and all great choices. The staff at the hotel were friendly and amazing, I chatted most of them up and their hospitality is on point. When I got there I was told parking was free, but I was expecting it to be $10/day based on things I read online.Things to be aware of:- bring a sound machine, the industrial style doesn't lend itself to soundproofing- the standard king rooms are smaller than a standard hotel room, they felt great, but helpful to know- there is a $75/day incidental hold made at check inI'll definitely be back, what a gem ?

This little gem was awesome. The room was beautiful (industrial style) with bright colors and comfortable. Now, to be completely honest, it wasn't the biggest hotel roomI've stayed in but it was adequate. The parking is good, it's under the hotel but open to the public (only that little entrance bar the rises up and down when you enter and leave, which you must have a key to operate); was kinda scary knowing that anyone could simply walk into the parking structure though. At any rate the atmosphere of the hotel was amazing, decor beautiful, location great to downtown (6 miles)... Loved it and would stay again.

We stayed here for one night while we waited for our airbnb to be ready and overall it was a pleasant experience. There is free secured covered parking but note there are not a lot of spaces. The hotel is conveniently located near a grocery store and multiple restaurants and coffee shops. The rooms were clean and we slept well with the exception of the smoke detector light going off in 10 second increments all night. At the time of our stay the rooftop was not accessible, but we made use of the fitness room on our floor. We’d be happy to stay again.

We absolutely loved the stay here! The atmosphere when you first walk in the entrance is like you walked into a really hip social club. Great vibes and chill music. There is a piano, guitar and bongos along one wall. Lots of board games out at tables and eclectic books out to peruse. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We had breakfast before heading back on the road and it was amazing! I had The Breakfast Sammy while my wife had the Pumpkin Pie Parfait. And I have to tell you, both were to die for!Loved this place and we will recommend for everyone traveling to Nashville, or just passing through.Rooms: Very spacious and comfortable. Nice rain shower head, modern styling and comfortable king bed.Food & drinks: Brunch food was fantastic. Had the specialty Pecan Old Fashion last night and it was perfect! Not too sweet but great blend of rye whiskey and pecan syrup. Excellent choice!Noteworthy details: Loved that instruments, games, cards, books etc were in the lobby. Felt very cozy and welcoming to hang out here. AND Weiss liquors across the street of you need to restock your supply!

This is a great boutique hotel. I am not a fan of unfinished interiors. I feel it is hoteliers are being cheap there is no reason to leave pipes and wiring exposed. I will not allow that to cloud my judgment of the property. The staff and everyone we came in contact with was so hospitable.

The Guesthouse King was plenty of room for the 2 of us. Not only was the place trendy but so nice and clean. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming and extremely helpful. We love Nashville but this was our first time staying in this area and it might just be our new go-to spot!

My husband and i were staying at another hotel in Nashville that was absolutely terrible, paid for 4 nights and checked out after 1.At about 5.00 in the morning my husband drove to Waymore’s to check it out and decided to book. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the pillows are lovely. I certainly want one :-)Had a lovely three nights stay, an Uber into the centre is not expensive so would highly recommend staying here as distance not an issue.

The hotel itself is very cute and gives the classic Nashville artsy/indie vibes. It's located in East Nashville and although it is located across the street from a liquor store and bus stop where quite a few people hang out, I didn't necessarily feel unsafe. I wouldn't walk the area alone at night by myself though. The check-in was super easy. Be aware they will hold an extra $75(ish) per night, per room as a security deposit. It did appear back on my card within a few days. But just be aware - especially if you are staying several nights. I think for the price you pay, it would be nice to have some "free" food/water amenities. There are snacks and even bottled waters in your room but none are free. We assumed the 2 bottled waters were free because they weren't listed on the paper with the snack prices but we were wrong. They are $5 each. Yikes! So, maybe bring your own waters. They didn't have a public ice machine but will give you ice upon request. There is also no mini-fridge in the room which wasn't a problem for us because we only stayed one night. I LOVED the bed linens. So luxurious! The bed was a tad on the firm side so if that is comfortable for you, you will really enjoy the beds. The decor is very nice and everything was super clean. I really enjoyed the plants and light where the bar/restaurant is located. We had their brunch and it was pretty tasty. Overall, I think it is a tad overpriced for what you get but it was nice, clean, and quiet.

We chose Waymore's Guest House & Casual Club because it is close to where our son, daughter-in-law and grandson live. The location was great. We could walk to restaurants, donut shops and our son's church. Our room was a little pricey because by the time I booked all that was left was a king room with two bunkbeds. It was more than we needed and it was more expensive. Next time, I will book the king room. The room was very nice and I was surprised at how quiet it was even though our room faced the main street. The lobby has a really nice vibe too - like sitting in someone's living room. We will be back.

Love the location near all the fun and funky East Nashville has to offer. Add in a really nicely appointed room and excellent, friendly customer service and we have a winner. Have never stayed a Waymore's property before but will now be on the lookout for the brand in other towns. Well done all the way around!

Adorable building. Staff was helpful and kind. We enjoyed this location. We did not get a chance to try the restaurant downstairs but we did eat at the Asian street food place down the street. My only issue was to me the room smelled stale. Maybe some linen refreshing is needed. Otherwise, loved everything about it.

The staff was amazing and as was the room itself. But the neighborhood it was in was pretty bad. Homeless/bums littered the streets. It was very unacceptable for us. It was very disappointing too considering the price of the place. Then this morning before we left, my boyfriend ordered cappuccino at the front desk, charged it to the room and were shocked to get a bill of $44.93. $30 + tax for what? The cappachino was $4.50/ea. We didn't expect not appreciate the charge. So that's what was disappointing to us.

Nice place, clean, quiet rooms, pleasant staff. "Restaurant" doesn't quite define the selections, more like bar food but good. I'd definitely return for another stay but I'll just make dinner plans somewhere else.
