This is a fun place that we stumbled across while we were in Nashville. It's the war Memorial Auditorium. It's got some cool statues in earth things check out.

I’m in awe of the people who have paid the ultimate price and sacrificed their lives for this country and state. The granite and marble are gorgeous and all inspiring. The lower courtyard was being used for feeding the hungry and providing haircuts. Some very wonderful folks were being hands and feet today. Thank you to the people who made this memorial possible for me a simple traveler to pay respect to all who it represents.

Very Romanesque vibe with the large columns, 3 flights of stairs to go up and the staue is beautiful

I liked the actual auditorium for the show I went to (a comedy show). Where the auditorium was wasn't very clearly labeled in my opinion. Heading over there to the auditorium too there were hardly any lights. Could be a safety issue at some point. The only bathrooms for attendees to use were downstairs. The concession stands were also not very well laid out. The lines for them blocked the way to the bathrooms, and it was pretty crammed in that narrow entry.

This is A Tennessee Must See! A beautiful memorial that has been erected to honor the millions of men and women lost at war. It also houses the venue where Nashville's original world famous African American musicians performed during the Jim Crow South Era.Tennessee's Homeless Community have taken shelter their for years. The Great Volunteers of the State have weekly served the homeless from this State Property.Really hate to see that go!

The worst venue I've ever experienced. The ticket map was completely wrong. The tix I picked were shown on the map as the front row of the top tier. Since it was a concert, everyone was standing as they should be able to. Unfortunately, that meant my 10 year old couldn't see. Bathrooms are a mile away. Very disappointing experience for what should have been a fun family evening. We basically had to listen, not actually watch.

The War Memorial Auditorium is located downtown Nashville next to the Tennessee State Capital. Our hotel was next door so we popped over for a quick tour. I learned that the building was built in 1925 and is a 2000 seat performance hall. In 2017 it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Grand Ole Opry was performed here from 1939 to 1943 before it moved to the Ryman Auditorium.

This is one of my favorite venues ever. I've only been here twice. Once for 3 Doors Down and recently for Alter Bridge. There is not a bad seat on the balcony in my opinion. Same goes for the general admission on the floor. It's small, but you can see perfectly from anywhere.

Very striking place across from the Tennessee State Capital. The plaza area has interesting statues, fountains, and a memorial to fallen TN officers.Just a lovely place. Go explore this place!

My daughter and I just got back home from the War Memorial Auditorium. We went to the NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling) event and even tho it was bot sold out it was a great show. Watching some of the Japanese wrestlers is very dream like because here in the USA you can only see them on TV or YouTube so watching them live is very honorable, like they would say. And the auditorium it's self is a very nice place, inside and out. If you have the chance to go and take your family, I would recommend that you do. For an even that you like of course.

Not the worst place to catch a show, but if you’re over six feet tall or on the larger side of life, just know that the seats are TINY. There is virtually no leg room for taller people like myself. If you prefer to stand in general admission, probably a great place to catch a show.

Came here for the Louis York & The Shindellas concert and it was fabulous! The speakers are loud and clear. I don’t believe there were any “bad” seats. The staff was very accommodating. Nathan and Jeremy helped me exchange my tickets and ensure I still had a great view. It wasn’t until I visited the balcony that I realized they’re all good. There isn’t much leg room unfortunately, but that’s due to the age of the building.
