I have had the best experience with them. Let me explain:
- I had a collision that my insurance would not have covered. I drove up there to see if I could pay out of pocket but she felt very sorry for me because the crash was not my fault (vandalism) and my insurance was only for liability. She recognized I was a student and getting new parts would cost a lot, so as fixing.
She offered to fix it in a "cheaper" way. Since the bumper wasn't entirely broken, she had offered to "reconstruct" the existing bumper, and fix it back in place since that would be cheaper than getting a new bumper and fixing it whole.
I was asked to drop by the next Monday to have the car repaired by her son, helped me hold up some parts with tape and tried to put some parts in place. I did drop by the next Monday, and about 2 - 3 hours later, she called me to come pick it up. I came and was ready to pay with card after I had seen that it was fully repaired (taken out, beat and reshaped and fixed back in)...
She and her son had decided to do it for free for me!
Asked me not to pay a dime! I insisted to pay something at least for appreciation but she and her son persisted. Asked me to drive safe. And that was the nicest thing I had received so far because I would have paid about 2700-3500 for new repairs or maybe several hundreds to a thousand otherwise.
- The service is great! and they are a very welcoming family!

Rear ended someone and left a hole in my grille and bumper. My insurance AllState thankfully accepted Walter Colson for repairs. I was really worried that when I got my car back the paint was going to be off or I wasn’t going to like how it looked. I was incredibly mistaken!
I left my car at the shop dirty and in disrepair. Suzanne kept me updated while my car was in the shop. She was very sweet and communicable! About a week later I got my car back and was blown away at how great of a job they did! They even cleaned my car inside and out! I was so happy to see my car fixed and looking brand new. A huge shout out to Jet for making my car look like it came straight from the factory.

Walter Colson’s body shop is such a wonderful neighborhood business. The customer service and the quality of the repairs is always excellent and we so appreciate how friendly all of the staff is. We have gone to them for various repairs and every time they are so kind and so transparent about how they plan to repair it and why. Absolutely recommend if you are ever in need of car repairs!

Walter Colson was hands one of the best if not the best company I have ever dealt with. The customer service was a delight to deal with and my car was repaired with perfection. If I could give more stars than 5, I would! If you are looking for great repairs and positive attitude, this is the place to go! I appreciate their business and would recommend them family and friends!

I have not had any work done on my car at this point, but I had a great interaction with Suzanne on the phone. I had been calling various shops around town trying to schedule an appointment to get an estimate after getting hit by another car. Like other shops, there was going to be a long wait time.Different from other shops, however, when I explained my situation to Suzanne she spoke to me like a real person and offered some really solid advice about how to speak to the insurer of the responsible party in order to get the best outcome. I can't speak to the quality of their work (because I haven't had any done at this point), but I can say that they employ thoughtful and honest people. Thank you, Suzanne!

Would not recommend. Picked up vehicle after repairs, car was on empty, could not even get it off of the lot. Then, they had damaged a TPMS sensor in a tire that caused 3 more sensors to go down due to calibration and would only replace 1 sensor. Took them over a month to replace 1 more, and I had to buy the others that they at first, wouldn’t replace either. Still have a TNPS sensor light on and they claim they’re not liable but this problem did not exist UNTIL AFTER they were so called finished with repairs and I picked up the vehicle. Horrible, Horrible customer service and I would highly recommend taking your repair services elsewhere. Somewhere that values your time and hard earned money.
