I hadn't been to walker for 2 years. I needed some specialized trim, walker had it.I price shopped several items and was lower or comparable to big box stores. What was most unusual, all employees were nice and actually working and not Facebooking and taking selfies.THANK FOR ALL YOUR HELP

I visited Walker Lumber today for some KDAT. They were the closest place I could find it in stock. My first impression was "This place is clean with a quality atmosphere". The customer service was excellent! I look forward to doing more business there when I can.

I needed a replacement rim joist to replace a rotted one in the old patio door system in our home. Walker had it in stock and were so helpful over the phone and when I went in. Going into this store was a treat!!!! I'm a fairly handy lady who loves to DIY! I'm the type of chick who would much rather have a trip to a hardware store than go clothes shopping. I can drool for hours over power tools. I've recently started basic woodworking, and I love new tools! This has got to be the cleanest, well designed, most beautiful hardware store I've ever been in. They had aisle after aisle of every tool or supply you could need! They also had the best lumber yard I've ever seen. Everything was laid out to make loading by their super nice, helpful employees a breeze. I've already informed my husband that we have to go back very soon. Even though it's about an hour away from our home, it's totally worth it. I wish I took pictures, it was that awesome.

My first experience at Walker Lumber was excellent. In my experience at other lumber yards and supply stores, it can be somewhat difficult as a hobbyist. I was immediately offered assistance at Walker, got their process explained to me, and picked up my lumber in the lengths that I could fit in my car. Everyone was really patient and helpful, which I very much appreciated for my first visit. Their selection was really impressive, and I wish I had known about the store sooner! I’ll definitely be back.
