Sent one of my guys down to pick up a set of 3/8 inch hydraulic couplers for a skid steer attachment. He came back and I looked at the receipt... $350 for 2 fittings?!? I know prices have increased but I thought this is insane. I called around to a couple other places that sell the exact same fittings and each of them told me it would be around $30 plus tax. I called volunteer to see if it may have been a mistake. You know instead of $35 they added an extra 0 on accident. No mistake. When I asked why and told him that's a $30 part everywhere else, he said, "you should have went somewhere else." I told him I don't want to keep these parts then. I want to bring them back and return them. He told me if I do there would be a restocking fee of almost $50! Needless to say if I need hydraulic supplies I'll go elsewhere.

I had a hose from an air compressor that needed to be replaced, and after 3 different stops, I found Dave at Volunteer Hose. I was in and out quickly, and he and Chris were very friendly and helpful. I'll be going back anytime I need help from here on out.

I've used Volunteer multiple times for custom hoses and fittings. I've most often worked with Dave. I've had custom hoses made for hot rods, classics, custom cars, etc and Volunteer has always done an outstanding job for me. Highly recommend!

Needed a nitrogen charge on a accumulator which normally cost around $100 bucks and they charged me $400 for only 250 psi! And they had zero since of urgency. Will not be using these guys anymore

The Good: they were the only company I found in town who had the fittings to replace a small hydraulic hose with weird couplings on the ends. The Bad: they charged me $260 for a 10' long hose that at another place would have cost a max of $80. That's 26 DOLLARS A FOOT for a hose they paid a max of $4.00 a foot for. They are very friendly people (they should be, as they must be making money hand over fist) and very knowledgeable (were able to identify the hose fittings), but I will not go back to them for anything if I can help it. I guess they probably do a lot of business with big companies who don't mind paying those types of prices, but for those who have to pay for or do their own repairs as a regular person, it's shameful.

Don't normally leave many reviews but these guys deserve one! Cary and David have helped me out numerous times. First time I came by, Cary gave me a quick tour of their inventory. Great customer service. Great guys to work with! Call these guys with any Hydraulic or gasket needs.

Do not buy anything from this place. I came here so they could make me two hydraulic hoses. They indeed made me two hoses and it cost over $500 dollars. This is asinine and I couldn’t believe they price gouged me this much and said this is the normal price.

Went to go get some 10 inch brake lines made for a brake master cylinder delete set up on my car. I told them everything I needed. They tried to charge me 250 dollars for a tee fitting and 2 10 inch hoses! On top of that took a week to make. Went to Nashville hose and gasket and told them what I needed they showed me all the parts I needed and made my custom hoses right there in less than 30 minutes cost me 70 dollars and out the door I went happy as can be. I will forever go to Nashville hose and gasket not this price gouging place.
