Horrible experience. I have never written a review for an establishment being from New York City/New Jersey I am never inclined to leave reviews because of the thick skin you acquire over the years. In this case, I felt it was necessary after reading other reviews. While making my purchase I had to walk out as the older man helping me (I assume the owner but I am not entirely sure) was extremely rude and disrespectful. He answered my questions with a demeaning attitude and made it seem as if I was a burden to him. While reading other reviews I can see that he often responds with a god driven response, I myself am not very religious but I do have some faith and religion, so in that case I will too respond like he does. Luke 6:31 says "And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise". This man did the opposite as I believe that he would've reacted differently if I treated him the way he treated me. I believe a pastor truly following god would not treat me the way I was treated by this man and I am sure that he will respond to this, as he responded to others, stating that I am making false claims and I need to fix the jealousy and hatred in my life and to that I say please find the nearest mirror.
I will post this under Peacock Jewelers as well as the pseudonym Village Jewelers as the same business has two names which I can only assume is to avoid scrutiny this business is facing online.
To this man: I understand there are most likely personal issues going on for why you decided to talk down to me, treat me with disrespect and be rude without reason. I hope you find reason to spread love in this world as you claim to do, as actions speak louder than words.
I hope you do not have to lose a large sale like you lost when I walked out of the door yesterday after being spoken to like I was a child.

I found this place on yelp as I wanted to get my ring resized. My pinky ring was a size 4, but I knew I needed to get a smaller size as the ring kept slipping. I came here and was immediately greeted. The jeweler size of my finger and decided that my pinky rings should be a 3.5. I went to check out and they told me that it would be ready in up to two days. To my surprise, they called me two hours later, and said that my ring was ready. This is great as I have been wanting to wear this ring. sadly the downfall was that I had to pay almost $80 to get my ring resized. I thought this was a bit pricey; I am from California originally and I have gotten my ring resized for a much cheaper or free deal. Otherwise this jewelry shop is nice, and I would recommend it to anyone who has the money to get the ring resized or to find other rings.

I can't recommend this jeweler enough. I asked some questions on yelp first to make sure they had the services I needed and they got back to me ASAP. I had to go in on a Saturday and they were able to help me right away on my appraisal. The appraiser put a lot of time and effort into appraising my piece & I trust that his work was accurate. I also had a vintage piece polished while I waited and it looks as good as new. I asked some of the other staff questions about pieces while I waited and they were all friendly and knowledgeable. This will definitely be my go-to jeweler from now on. Thanks again!

Village Jewelers of Nashville is an excellent establishment run by an AMAZING team. They will solve all your Jewelry needs in terms of repairs and finding the right piece. They are without a doubt the BEST Jewelry store in Nashville!! I highly recommend you go in and meet them, even if it is just to stop in and say hello. They are very friendly and cater to all audiences.

I was told that I had an order placed for a ring and they took all my information and said they'd call me back in 2-4 weeks. They never did. Terrible.

Joey was very kind and took his time to take links out of a watch even on a busy Sunday. The entire staff was very sweet and helpful. They have some of the most unique and beautiful pieces I’ve ever seen. I definitely recommend this place!

I went in to Village Jewelers to get some links taken out of my watch and could not be more satisfied with the service. Not only did I get my watch fitted quickly and for free, but the man who helped me was extremely kind and helpful. Village Jewelers has a great location and is truly top notch when it comes to customer service as their employees are genuine and friendly.

Went in to have a ring I recently acquired appraised and looked at. Guy acted as though I was annoying him by asking. After determining what the stone was, I asked what he would pay for it, just to test his integrity out of curiosity. He then proceeded to try and convince me to sell a ring, which is most definitely worth $1,200.00 minimum (3.87ct Morganite w/ rose gold and diamond band), for $40 to him. nice try, skeeze t**** Other than that, the random preacher dude(not sure if he was really a man of the cloth or just wearing the neck band) was polite, as well as the other kid from Ga. Anyway I believe I know why he's having difficult time finding help.
