Had a simple oil with a perfect condition car young lady couldn't get filter off because she was turning the wrong way and now my car is running out never emailed my receipt lied about fluid check nothing was full service do not go to this place

TLDR - Unless Darius is the one working on your vehicle I would steer clear of this Valvoline.I went in at 1:22 PM on Monday, February 12th for a routine oil change & windshield wiper replacement.3 employees were working. As soon as I popped my car's hood, I was told that my radiator was cracked. Robin, the senior employee, looked at it and said it wasn’t cracked and that radiator fluid had probably gotten spilled and burned. He did a battery test and told me my battery needed replacing. Though he didn’t show me the meter reading for the old battery that he tested, I’ve never had an issue with this Valvoline shop or its employees so I trusted him and told him to replace it.After leaving the shop, I returned immediately because my clock was not working, my TPMS warning light was on, and my power locks & key fob were inoperable while the car was off.Robin immediately asked the other employees if they had checked my tires during the service, but they had not. They proceeded to adjust the tire pressure. Robin then told me to go drive the car for several miles to see if that would reset the sensors, he said to come back if the problems persisted. After driving 50 miles and still seeing no reset or change in the issues, I returned to the shop. By this time it was 4:15 PM, Robin met me outside at my car to tell me that they were going to service the 2 cars ahead of me and then “that’s it,” they were going to close for the night. This Valvoline doesn't close until 6 PM.He wouldn’t help fix the problem he had caused. I told him I would have no choice but to take my car to another mechanic to which he said, “Okay.”I then took it to another Valvoline station where I was told they wouldn’t touch my car because they weren’t the ones who did the initial work or made the error. They told me to call customer service.When I called customer service they put me in touch with the original store’s manager, Darius. Darius had me bring my car back again (around 5 PM) where he adjusted the tire pressure which didn’t turn off the TPMS warning light. He informed me that I would need to bring my car back in the morning. Darius was nothing but exceedingly helpful and patient throughout this entire ordeal. He took time and care with my vehicle. I can't say enough good things about him. He wasn't present when this slapdash service was performed, but he did everything he could to fix the problem.Within the first 5 minutes, I was told my radiator was cracked then, that it was fine. During my oil change, Robin neglected to check both the cabin air filter and the tire pressure. He was dismissive of the issues he caused to my car saying it was “probably a broken sensor.” He turned me away an hour and 45 minutes before closing time after telling me to bring my vehicle back if the problems persisted. This should have been a simple oil change/battery replacement but due to indifference or incompetence on the part of the acting senior employee, it became a much bigger problem. I came back to Valvoline 4 times to get this fixed and also had to take off from work on Tuesday to get this repaired. The issue was fixed the next morning, but it took an additional 2 hours and I still had to take the car to a mechanic to evaluate the quality of the work that was done at Valvoline on Monday.

Came to location 2577 Murfreesboro Pike July 27, for oil change. About 2 wks later I seen my skid plate was hanging on the front passenger side. Apparently someone forgot to put screws back in. So I and my husband went back to the shop we spoke with Darius 8/11or 12th. He was to order skid plate and screws. He contacted the company on 8/24 saying he had to find the part. Kia Sorento is a very common car. The invoice was turned in 9/14. I called customer support on 9/22 and they said the skid plate was delivered that morning. They would email Darius and let him know we would be in 9/23 to get part replaced. My husband went morning of 9/23 they stated they didn't have the screw and Darius wasn't there to come back Monday. Monday morning I called Darius said give him an hour he would have the screws. I called him back in 2hrs. He said the auto store didn't have them and he couldn't leave to go to the dealership he was the only key holder. I asked could I go pick them up. I just want my car fixed. Then he says I had my boss order them it will be 1-2 days. 9/29 my husband called to see if he had the screws someone said Darius said they was there. We arrived at the Valvoline and Darius was leaving. Through this whole 6 weeks we called him several times never reached out to update on anything, he also lied 8/18 and said the part was ordered and he couldn't do anything but wait for the part to be delivered. Darius to me needs training on being prompt with resolving customers problems and communicating with the person with the problem. Because without customers there is no business to pay workers. Ignoring business complaints doesn't make it go away, it helps you lose customers. Resolutions helps keep and bring more customers.Customer support is awesomeBIG SHOUTOUT TO ASST. A Valvoline in GA caused my check engine light to come on. This location was understanding and helped fix the problem without any questions asked. Will be returning to this Valvoline and only this one if I choose to get an oil change at Valvoline.

-3 Star review. Absolutely horrible. Darrius apparently is the manager. Ive come to this location 2x and had good to great service. "Can we rotate his tires or is our gun still down." Blatantly lying. Then refused to change my oil. Trying to push me off to bell road. Young heavy set white man w short curley hair, scummy dirty shirt on with the name Carlos, is the LIAR! Just lazy. I came with a genuine question about a sound and they all just wanna ride the clock. PATHETIC!

One of my favorite places to go to get my oil changed. Darius and his team are always on point. Professional look, actions, conversation everything!! They always look out for the customer. Not trying to sell you something you don’t need. Speedy service too. It’s the little details that mean the most to a customer. Great work team! I don't mind Valvoline as a whole. I've been to this particular store and have received great service before, just found the service yesterday a bit lacking in warmth. Both men seems tired, I was there before they opened at 8, but service didn't start until 8:10I didn't understand why an oil change and filters should cost almost $200, even with a $30 discount. Apparently the oil change alone cost $105 ? Good thing I had the money to pay. Sad thing is I have used this store prior. But will be using the garage I've been using in October. I did not receive a receipt.
