I would’ve took my $200 elsewhere if it had not been for the guy working the register. The woman at the time I went in seemed busy or maybe didn’t want to be bothered. She came out the of the back with a plate eating after my initial contact so maybe it was before or after her lunch. There was a shoe I asked her about after my first encounter and as she was walking away she said that was the last one. I asked the guy if the register if he could order it and asked if he could explain the sale to me since I was still confused from my initial interaction with the woman. He found my shoe online and explained the sale. I told him I wanted to try on a shoe similar to the shoe he would be ordering for me so that I knew what size to get. He found me a different color in the shoe I was ordering. He told the woman I had initial contact with that he was looking for the one I ordered. She stated again that there were no more. I told her I understood and that I wanted to try on a similar shoe or different color to know what size to order. Anyways, the cashier definitely saved the purchase or I would’ve walked out.

There was a lovely female associate there on Tuesday who was so eager to help get sizes, and offer help. People can make all the difference!

this is honestly the worst steve madden i’ve ever been in to and this is my favorite show store. music was up so high several customers were complaining. the associate asked me a question and i couldn’t hear what she was saying. then i asked an employee for help asking if they carried a certain style of shoe and she yelled at me. i will not be returning.

Customer service is the worst. Asked about any sells or promotions and was just told only in select products. The rude lady wouldn't even show us where was the select items that was on sell

You sell shoes for over $200/pair, in a busy mall, yet you don’t have the cash to provide your customers in the event they need to make a return…Makes sense, right??

My son and I had the best experience due to Rob being totally amazing and so helpful. He went above and beyond to find the shoe size we needed. Because of Rob, we will be back to shop at this store. His customer service is the best!

I went in to see if I could exchange a pair of shoes for a different pair I wanted, and the sales associate Katie was so helpful. She went above and beyond to help me determine my options, and she helped calculate how much extra I would owe as well. I didn’t end up exchanging them, but she definitely made the experience a positive one!

Steve Madden at Opry Mills in Nashville is a great place to go for everything Steve Madden. I really like the designs that they have available for all occasions. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you find everything that you need.

Drove 2 hours to go to the store and they were closed. The mall didn’t close until 8 and the employees had decided to lock the door an hour early with people still inside. The SA was completely unprofessional and rude. At first she wouldn’t even come to the door while there was a crowd of people standing outside. Finally she came and said they were closed because of short staff. News flash, everyone is short staffed and there were four employees surrounding the cash wrap on their phones. The sales person was a tall white brunette lady, and she does not belong in customer service. Very surprised that Opry Mills doesn’t fine or have rules against operating this way. From the other reviews it seems like this is very typical of this store; sounds like they need a new general manager.

During the middle of the day, the doors was locked. We waited for them to come to the door, they looked and kept talking to each other. There was no customers in the store and it was only 4 p.m.
