We love Southpaws. Their communication is great, I love that I can watch my pup on the video cams, and they always are so friendly. They do curb side drop off and pick up. A lot of the time it seems like they’re anticipating our arrival, and they’re ready to pick my pup up on arrival and have him out to me quick at the end of the day. We’ve been going to southpaws for more than a year now. Definitely recommend.

My 10 month old pup arrived so shaggy you could barely see her eyes and when the weather was wet it was impossible to get her cleaned up. She came out beautifully groomed. Southpaws did a great job. She will be coming here on a regular basis in the future.

We recently moved away for Nashville, and we were SO sad to leave SouthPaws. Both of our dogs got so excited when they realized were were going to SouthPaws. The first dog we sent to Southpaws was older, and they treated her with so much TLC because of her arthritis. She passed away after a less than a year of us arriving in Nashville. The staff there remembered her for years, which meant so much to us. If you want your dog to be treated like family, go to SouthPaws

I left my labrador for day care services here while I was in Nashville for one day. Megan and Amanda took care of my pup and he felt in good hands during drop off. I definitely recommend SouthPaws Nashville!

They did an awesome job with my dogs nail trim and bath. They were very quick and gave him a cute bandana when he was done. Would definitely recommend!

Took our pups in for their evaluation. The staff was friendly and efficient. Pups approved and stayed to enjoy daycare for the afternoon. They came home tired and happy - the best!We will be boarding them for a couple days next week. Will post our experience then.

If I could give SouthPaws 10 stars, I honestly would. I have two dogs, one that’s about 70 pounds and a mini dachshund, and they are both about 9 years old. For 4 years, we had to ask my friend to take care of our dogs because Peggy would get anxiety attacks when we dropped her off anywhere for boarding (shaking, frothing at the mouth). We started bringing them to SouthPaws when we moved to Nashville. Maybe the 2nd or 3rd time we dropped them off, Peggy was pulling at the leash in the direction of their door. I was almost in tears, I was so happy.SouthPaws regularly goes above and beyond for us when they can. In a year and a half, they have offered to let us pick up our dogs up after hours when our flight got delayed, fit our dogs in for grooming appointments with only a few days notice (because I forgot to ask), and squeezed them in for boarding for us when we have emergencies. When they had to close early due to the snow storm, they had someone answering messages on instagram almost immediately. Some of this I understand is just good business, but they hit the mark every single time. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I was nervous to leave my Aussie shepherd behind when I went on vacation out of the country for three weeks, but the experience we had at SouthPaws Nashville was amazing! I could watch her on the cameras from a continent away and that gave me so much peace of mind. She had a fun puppy vacation and a great time socializing with the other doggies. I will always recommend SouthPaws!

We love everyone at Southpaws so much. They do a great job of communicating with us, and we can tell they love our boys as much as we do!

We’ve taken our sweet boy, Bradford, to SouthPaws for over 1.5 years now, and he loves it! The staff is so friendly and loving towards the pups, you can tell they’re all well taken care of. The rates are reasonably priced and communication via E-mail is good. Highly recommend!

i’m writing this review because i chose southpaws based on their positive reviews and how many of them. what I should have paid attention to was the negative reviews.Firstly, the place is depressing on the inside. Makes sense to me why it used to be curbside only. It’s dark, depressing, and watching the cameras they just run around different concrete floors every day, seemingly that that is the only place they can go to the bathroom. My dog smelled terrible after she left here, which is even more disappointing since I paid for a $50 bath with a nail job i could’ve done at home and sadie not looking any different. I didn’t complain about the bath because they did what they could, but I definitely wasted $50 getting her groomed before boarding her. She smells like I haven’t bathed her in 6 months. They were helpful in getting her proper vet information and vaccinations, even though I had to pay $200 in vet fees to get the two extra vaccinations they require. They did her introduction and she passed.Sadie was 100% fine before I took her in to this place. Her vet checked her out even days before to give her the vaccines and said she had a clean bill of health. When I dropped her off, she was shaking and didn’t want to stay, but just nerves, right? No, she was telling me something.I pick up my dog and she is over the moon to see me and almost immediately runs out of the door to get out of there. They said nothing was wrong with her, she did great, but gave me no photos or report card. I put Sadie in the car and she immediately started dry heaving, coughing, and vomiting small amounts. She hasn’t stopped since I picked her up, almost 24 hours later. She will not eat, she will not drink water, she will only sleep. When I called Southpaws they said she “hacked once that we saw but was immediately fine after”. Another $200 at the vet later, my dog has kennel cough. So all in all, this whole boarding/grooming situation caused me well over $600 for a 4 night stay.I called to let them know about the kennel cough and they were sorry and advised me they would call the owner and they’d call me to discuss. I know no one is necessarily “at fault” here and they’ve been communicating with me well since it happened, but understandably we won’t be back.I’ll continue to drive her 45 minutes to her foster mom.Updating this review to state they did refund the cost of the stay due to the situation, which was appreciated.
