Me and my friends went to look for prom dresses and the lady didn’t help us but just watched us like we were going to steal and all the jewelry is fake and they still have the nerve to charge 699 for it

We were referred to Southern Belle Rose by one of their happy customers, a woman who bought a gown there. Turns out Nina, their seamstress, does men's alterations as well. My husband has had Nina alter or repair several garments and he's been THRILLED. Nina's work is flawless, and her prices are quite reasonable. At this point, neither one of us will go anywhere else!

This store was so helpful! I was able to get in contact with an associate to order my dream Sherri Hill dress (out of stock on all other sites). They were so helpful and the interaction was super easy. They were even able to help me on sizing and dress specifics. The dress was beautiful, in perfect condition! Would order from again :)

My friend and I are on the hunt for gowns for mother of the bride/groom. We stopped in here and after introducing ourselves, let the owner/employee know what we were looking for. He looked exasperated and said they don’t have many mother of bride gowns, but pointed out one row of them. No problem, of course not everyone shop will have a ton of m.o.b gowns. We let him know we actually don’t have to have a traditional mother of bride gown, and would like to look at the other dresses too, for options. My friend and I started to look at size 6, 8 rack. He came to inform us that ‘gowns run smaller than normal clothes so we may want to look at a different size’. I’m 5,3, 127 lbs. my friend is very slim and fit. I should have left then, but told him ‘thank you, this isn’t our first shop, and we are aware of the sizing’.
Then, I pulled out a gown to take a closer look (which is not easy as they are packed very close together and encased in plastic bags). After deciding not to try it on, I placed it right back where I pulled it from the rack. The employee/owner stepped in between me and friend and flipped the hanger around and chided me because the hanger top had flipped around. He said ‘it goes this way!’ Strangest thing ever, so inhospitable and rude. At that point, my friend and I felt so unwelcome and dejected we left. We have been all over town and had some great experiences with literally every other boutique. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but the whole tone was incredibly rude. I would mention the employees name, but he never told me, even after we introduced ourselves. We will not be back.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Shameful customer service. Terrible experience and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. They’re rude, and unhelpful. Racist profiling from the man that was supposed to “help”, very unfriendly, not many options, not worth it at all. Don’t waste your time, or money. The name is very fitting for the store, wouldn’t spend a penny there.

My daughter found a prom dress she wanted, but it was a bit pricey for a dress that would likely only be worn for one night.
I searched the internet to see if I could find the dress for a better price, and I was thrilled to find it on sale at Southern Belle Rose. My only concern was whether we could get the dress in time to have it altered before prom (we are in San Diego, so picking it up was not an option :-P).
I called the shop and spoke to Yuri, who was absolutely wonderful! Yuri worked with me to make sure the dress would arrive in time for my daughter to have it altered before prom. Yuri packed the dress immediately to ship it out the same day and gave me an option and pricing for expedited shipping (ground shipping would have been free, but the savings on the dress price was far more than the extra cost of expedited shipping). After I gave Yuri the shipping address by phone, he even double checked the address in Google maps to ensure he had the correct address.

We bought my nieces senior prom dress here. This was the first place we stopped and went to several other shops after. We ended up coming back and purchased from here even after finding the same dress elsewhere. They greeted us promptly when we entered and advised us where to look to make the most of our time there. They weren’t pushy for us to buy but available for questions. I would def recommend and would/will return for future special occasion/formal dresses

After our day at another dress shop I was dreading today. It ended up being a great experience. The selection was top notch. They had a great variety of Sherri Hill, Jovani and Mori Lee. All colors and sizes. Yuri was so helpful and knew his inventory. We got the dress she was dreaming of and I didn’t get stressed. Highly recommend this shop.
