James at Snider automotive is very receptive and very helpful when it comes to answering questions about your car. If he doesn't look up the estimate as you're waiting on the phone he'll call you back within a reasonable amount of time to let you know what your car may need and what it will cost. I find Snider automotive to be very honest, reliable and affordable. Even when I asked them about working on a specific model of car that they don't normally deal with they referred me to another amazing garage in the same neighborhood who is also very reliable and affordable. My wife and I also had an issue with a stick shift that James gave us a temporary fix until we could make it into the shop to have the appropriate maintenance done on the car. The previous owners of the car that I've taken to Snider automotive I've also been going there for years and are very satisfied. I'm glad they turned me on to this garage in Madison. If you have a Volvo this is the place to go.

On a trip from Knoxville to the Nashville area my Volvo overheated. I was only in town for a couple of days and called Snyder to see if they had time to look at my car because I was worried to drive it back. They were on a two month wait for service, but when I called and they heard my story, they insisted that I come right in and they would make time to look at my car because they were concerned about me driving back with a car that might have an issue. I had never taken a car there for service, yet I was treated like a valuable customer. I would highly recommend this business, it’s hard to find people these days that truly care about clients.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

These guys took 20 min to give me the same evaluation that it took another VERY REPUTABLE shop almost two weeks (and had my car!!) and Snider charged me $000.00 for the estimate while the other guys charged $105.00 (an hour of labor)... Came highly recommended and outdid my expectations by a long shot. Will give another review when all said and done and I drive it for awhile.

Have used snider for years, very reasonable prices, everything they have fixed on my Volvo has stayed fixed. I would sell my Volvo if Snider ever went out of business.

Smoke started billowing from under the hood of my BMW and I was sure it was an engine issue. I had my car towed to Snider Automotive, and after a short time I was informed that it was just a coolant hose that popped off. They fixed it fast and for an amazing price. Had a great experience with these guys. They fixed an issue I was having with my 99 Saturn. James was very helpful, and so was Burt. I also came to them with some problems completely unrelated to their business and they still helped me out. Would recommend.

Some one was so rude to open their door on Old Hickory and throw out all their trash including glasses. We didn’t see the glasses and that’s what punctured the tire in 2 places. They answered the phone fast. They even let our dog come in and wait with us since it was so hot! James, Joe, and Burt were so pleasant to work with and were very quick!
