Seg Universe was very easy to work with at a great price point. My app was completed, and they upheld their end of the contract incorporating the functions that were previously discussed. They also will be managing my app moving forward.

A multidisciplinary professional team around the world that supports each other to create together cutting edge technology solutions for clients and brands. Evolution Wear, one of the brands and projects that I lead in the development of 3D images, I personally love. Their innovative concept of sustainable energy integrated into fashion fascinates me.

Choosing SEG Universe (via Bark) has been the worst business mistake of my life. I spent thousands of dollars and got nothing functional but a logo and a build that never made it to the App Store. In what started in July 2019 and should have been completed in 3-5 months, perhaps a few weeks hiatus, ended this month with an incomplete application. All said and done here in 2022, SEG wanted to disassociate from the project and asked that I not mention their development role in it. There are too many nightmares to tell, including not having a project manager for months, pleading with the unsupportive team to fix bugs after testing shoddy builds ad nauseum, their misquoting the scope and attempts at cutting corners in attempt to delete scope items, etc. At times, they tried to upsell me on services before fixing bugs and completing a very simple scope. At times, it felt like they were holding my app for ransom while they tried to push additional features into the app without executing basic scope items. Through the long years and my repetitive appeals, begging, and endless encouragement, their only argument was that Apple “depreciates” older iPhones and so, in their words, the app wouldn’t function correctly on my phone, even though iOS was always up to date and my team members had the newest iPhones and experienced the same malfunctions. SEG is a team of irresponsible neophytes with seemingly, in my experience, no national expertise. At least one reviewer in this column is an SEG developer and therefore poses a conflict of interest. In a word, NO. In a second word, I’m heart broken for the tremendous loss of money, time, and resources. Zero stars.

Dear Mr. Ghosh,I am writing this letter as required by law to ask you for the refund of $2,499.00 your company charged my Chase Visa card on April 26, 2021 before I entertain my other options.To reiterate our arrangement, I agreed and paid online to SEG Universe to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for beta testing before the summer of 2021. Per their direction, I authorized payment of $2,499.99 by Chase Visa on April 26, 2021.Unfortunately, your company could not deliver the product, so I canceled the project with an email dated June 26, 2021, and requested a refund. But, Mark Verso, your operation director denied my request, and I disputed the amount with my credit card company, Chase Bank, on June 28, 2021. And, Chase bank issued a temporary credit in my account and to investigate the charge. They advised me an agent would contact me.I received an email from SEG Universe with a link on August 12, 2021, two weeks after canceling the project with SEG Universe. I asked them the reason, and they replied that to make sure I had the link. So I reviewed it, and they had fabricated the project and fraudulently submitted it to Chase bank as a delivered product to rebuttal the dispute filed by me on June 28, 2021.I immediately called the chase bank dispute department and was advised that the case was pending and under investigation and an agent will contact me. I did not hear back until I noticed the rebill from SEG Universe in my account on August 24, 2021. I immediately telephoned Chase Bank’s dispute department, and the agent took notice and started the dispute again.She restarted the investigation and advised me to supply the supporting documents for the agent to review. I followed the instruction and emailed, faxed, and sent the supporting documents to the dispute department via registered USPS mail with tracking. Still, they declined my request due to me not providing them with requested documents on time.Chase bank claimed they had sent a letter via USPS, with no tracking requesting additional documents, to my office at 4225 Executive Square, Suite 600 La Jolla CA 92037 in July requesting additional information to support my claim. Though, due to Covid-19 Pandemic restriction we have been working virtually, but check our mails regularly. I never received the alleged request letter from chase bank..We have been intermittently in our office and only by appointment since May 2020. But we daily check our mails in that office from Monday through Saturday every day. I was surprised when Chase claimed that I had not responded to their letter as I had followed up with their dispute departments multiple times by phone since I had not received any response and only was advised of pending investigation. .Chase bank failed to communicate with their customer to obtain sufficient documents to prove the fraudulent charge by SEG Universe. Chase bank erred and ignored the facts that:1. The documents SEG had provided on July 12 were fabricated with an unapproved design after I canceled the project on June 28, 2021. Unfortunately, Chase bank failed to recognize the forgery and fraud.2. Chase bank never attempted to call me on my cell, desk number, or email me before dismissing my dispute. However, I had called to check on the status of the dispute multiple times.3. Chase bank’s failure to properly communicate with the customer caused financial damages. In addition, Chase did not protect my rights and approved the sham.Chase bank acted incompetently by blaming me for their failure to communicate with their client and to investigate this case rightfully. And validating the SEG Universe fabricated and unapproved product proves Chase bank’s incompetency to protect the clients.Case filed in San Diego Court Downtown

While I haven't worked with SEG Universe in the developmental space, they have been an outstanding partner in supporting young women's tech education. This truly puts them on the forefront of our future - I am impressed by their foresight and hope that some of our students eventually develop their own talents with a similarly upstanding company. I have tried solar products ordered from their sub-company, Evolution Wear, and it works seamlessly.

Seguniverse was a DREAM to work with. I hired them to develop an app for me to schedule appointments for my business and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.They were very communicative and straightforward with me throughout the whole process. Made the entire thing seamless and stress free, which was vital for me considering the circumstances of life we’re all currently in.10/10 would work with again.

I wish I could give them no stars. All good reviews are 100% fake. DO NOT give these scammers your money. They have pre made templates and all they will do is slap your company name on the front. That’s it! I suggest you give your business to someone local not this scamming Indian company!

Our experience with this company has been interesting to say the least. My advice is to be sure your requirements are detailed. Be sure to have them sign off on your detailed requirements. Structure your payments at completion intervals so you have a set of deliverables each time you make a payment.

I’ve always been extremely picky with my work.. as an artist I’m very meticulous on how i choose to go about things & after a ton of research I found SEG universe, After weeks of some minor setbacks, not only did they accommodate to my financial situation..They also motivated me to keep going.. It’s bigger than just building an app or website, these guys care! And their quality of work speaks for itself.. Can’t wait to see what we do!!!! #TeamSeg

They don’t do any work in the US, all their work is done in India and the quality is really bad. Also, they’re way overpriced. Not only their designs are outdated but also the communication is very slow. Stay away from this company we had to hire another one to redo the job we got from seg. Waste of money and time. Of course I'm using a fake name because I'm worried about my privacy. You keep harassing your clients and the way you replied to this review shows that. All the 5 star reviews are fake, they're all from India. Your work is not done in the USA 10000%
