I wish I had the experience everyone else had coming here. But the older man working today (6/5/23) for the food bank was RUDE! Beyond rude. We told him we were coming from the Salvation Army he called us liars, we not there…had to prove we were. was rude the entire time…we finally walk in he snatching chairs with an attitude a bunch of chairs fall…he had a stern rude attitude demanding our IDs and was mad a couple of us had to fill out applications because we had never been there. the look on his face was just evil. he was acting like we completely disturbed his day trying to get food boxes. I left with nothing because I was uncomfortable even getting help after his actions. Sir you need a different career cause helping people in need dang sure ain’t your calling. None of us deserved that we were respectful and polite. Unimpressed and unprofessional. He does not reflect the Salvation Army because everyone here where I stay is so sweet and so helpful. I’m just blown away by how he acted. Nobody should feel like they a burden at a place that helps people. He was acting like he bought the food and we was taking from his mouth lol I’ll never go back. I hope he finds peace in whatever really got him this angry.

This place has helped me and my kids in a way a can't explain . When I was down at my luck living in my car with 4 little children,they helped me. They feed us ,made sure we had everything we needed . They even provided us with hotel for 3 days I am so blessed and thank for them . They still help me , they pushed me to a point I thought I'll never b . I love them all thanks Chris , and the other can't remember names but they know who they are . Thank you all for all you'll done for me and my kids if it wasn't for y'all idk what we would have been. Y'all are blessing in our lives and we appreciate y'all in every way possible thank y'all again from the bottom of y'all hearts

The Salvation Army uses the money raised locally to help the people in the community.. they can help with past due utilities, food, clothing, and shelter.

I was able to tour the facility this week & it was great. The facility and staff are very warm, inviting and professional. You could sense the loving and genuine desire each person had to make a difference in the lives of those they serve in whatever capacity that reflected.
