I really love how convenient this store is to our location. I always love Publix grocery stores. This store might be smaller but I have found customer service to be very good here and store associates are always available when I come in looking for one thing or another. The parking lot is garaged but is so scary to drive around in cause people just fly in and out of there. I realize folks are in a hurry but you don't have to try and play chicken with other vehicles to get that coveted close to the store door parking spot. I will be happy to park further away but then I have to watch out for you as well now that I am on foot! People just slow down and be courteous! It's not that hard! I might not be as fast as you but trust me when I say I have plenty of insurance and they have lawyers!

Terrible experience tried to get service and it took for ever. Deli associate said they couldn't get an item listed on the menu because, "they were out". It's a Publix brand item. When I asked to speak with the manager she told me to walk over and find one myself. After creating a hostile environment with another employee at the deli, she continued to yell across the stores for the manager. Overall very unpleasant experience, not satisfied with the employees helping create a resolution. Definitely will not be back.

As Florida expat, I have to stop anytime there's a Publix nearby and get a sub and maybe some Key Lime pie. This store is smaller than most (sort of a mini-Publix) but they seem to have a little of everything including a deli and bakery so we were able to get some subs and pie. These subs are legendary in FL and if you're hungry stop by to find out why.

The only grocery store in "downtown " Nashville. I love Publix sandwiches. As a flight attendant I always search out a grocery store on my layovers, and am always happy if a Publix is in town. This one was different. The line for the deli sandwich (when I got there) was 4 people. I waited about 20 minutes for my turn. I ordered 2 uncomplicated sandwiches- 1 Italian and 1 Boarshead honey maple Turkey. When the lady asked me what I wanted on them - I asked her, did you not put on the cheese? She asked me what kind I wanted. Well, the menu specified the Italian had provolone and the Turkey had Swiss. The ONLY other topping I requested were banana peppers. That's it. No Mayo, mustard or anything else. I am taking these on my flight, one for a coworker. Imagine my surprise when I get to BNA and pull out my sandwich. I add my own Mayo and mustard. The sandwich looks just fine BUT as I am eating it it is so spicy. I do not like spicy. The lady put Jamaican j*** turkey on my sandwich. No bueno! I gave it to the Captain....what a bummer! I feel for the sandwich counter ladies....by the time I got my order there were at least 15 people in line. Where was the manager? It's all hands on deck when the line is wrapping around the produce section! In the scheme of things I'm just happy that people show up at all. But I was super bummed that I waited all that time- didn't ask for any crazy crap like the girl in front of me, but still got the wrong sandwich! I'll be there again next week. Maybe my sandwich will be the one I order....

This is a great supermarket. It's clean, well stocked, and it rarely takes more than a few minutes to check out. The staff are always chatty and interactive. They also just added self check out, which is very smooth. The fact that another reviewer said that the manager didn't want to help her because she was a "person of color" is just straight up embarrassing. Not that I personally care, but it's got one of the most diverse staff and clientele I've seen. It's a fantastic supermarket. Hopefully they start putting more into the North Gulch ASAP as it needs a boost.

Terrible customer service by managers. Too lazy to do money orders when customers need them and then they argue with you out of their self righteousness. Will never shop here again.

The store is too small. Many things are not stocked because of small size. But the employees were great and helpful. The butcher ground pork for me when none was available. When I couldn't find things, every clerk knew where I need to find it.I have seen better in urban settings.

Trevor, a kind young gentleman in the deli waited on me Sunday morning. I had a specific order for chicken and explained the reason for it. My brother in the VA hospital in the ICU had requested that. Trevor himself a Veteran, was very busy working but went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me fill this request. Thank you Trevor, your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.. also, thank you again for your service! YOU, are a FIVE STAR for certain. Thank you Publix for hiring such caring employees.

I will never step foot into this Publix again! Me and a couple of women were there to use the restroom and to buy wine as we noticed that we were being followed to what appears to be one of the managers. I guess the assumption was that we were going to steal wine and put it in our tiny purse. It was very apparent what this man was doing! This is what happens when you put "high end" stores in gentrified areas of the city. You will also have people who judge a book by it's cover. I'm an African American women who is also a real estate investor who doesn't always dress to par that matches my occupation; I guess we didn't look like we belonged there - no surprise. I asked for the manager as I was checking out but he was no where to be found. Being that we were running behind schedule, we didn't have time to wait. Besides, addressing someone who has a preconceived notion of someone is not a matter of training if that's always been their view of certain people, so I just reported it to corporate.I've been an avid Publix shopper for years and never have I been treated this way until I shopped at this location. This was a casual day for us as we were attending a barbecue at a nearby condo in memory of a friend who's funeral we attended earlier that day. Minorities beware!
