I was very surprised at the ease of using PODS. I was nervous at first to store my things in a box in my driveway for one month. However, it made the moving process with 2 kids under 2 seamless. We had great interactions with those who work for PODS, online and in person. I loved that we didn't need to be home for delivery or pickup. I would highly recommend if you want to start packing early and have less stress when the actual move date comes. We moved about 30 minutes away, so I can't speak for further moves. I would definitely recommend PODS! The only thing I wish they offered was extending the rental time for less than a month. If we wanted to keep it an extra week, we'd be charged for the entire month. Great service and stress free!

PODS was the perfect choice for our temporary storage solution. The delivery was timely and professional as well as all company communication. Will definitely use PODS again.

This might be the most incompetent company I've ever dealt with. I called and scheduled an in-state move with their largest container. I recieved an email the day before informing me that the pod would be dropped off as scheduled. It never showed up. We had movers scheduled the next day that we had to cancel. No notification whatsoever.I called customer service and was informed that they don't drop off to my area on Thursday. Then why did they schedule it on Thursday??? After much angst and arguing, they said that the Pod would be delivered on Saturday, three days late. Two hours later, I received another phone call saying that they have decided that they don't deliver to my area at all!! I have never seen a company so incompetent at the one thing they do - dropping off storage containers. I would highly encourage everyone to find alternate ways to move. And consider their scheduled pick ups and drop-offs to be unlikely.Hours wasted on the phone. Now I guess it's back to U-haul...

By far the worst customer experience I have ever had. Over charged from the start. No grasp on actual logistics costs. My wife works in logistics and knows fair market prices. She called them out and was immediately offered a “discount.” First drop off on 12/16. First pick up on 12/18. Quoted 4-7 days for transport. Took 12 days to transport the container for arrival on 12/30. Charged extra $127 for the drop off from their local facility, was not included nor mentioned in initial pricing. Final pick up was scheduled for 1/15. Final pick up was then pushed out via the “warehouse” to 1/17 and did not communicate that to their office. Charged $323.82 for another month’s rent when the pod was empty for over a week and it was the company’s fault for pushing the date back. Pick up pushed out again to 1/20. Multiple representatives were contacted. Multiple managers were contacted. Told we were not being charged, after already being charged. Pick up was then pushed out to 1/22. We have now put in a ticket to be refunded after being wrongfully charged. We have received sour attitudes while trying to get this resolved from representatives and management alike. Still waiting on a refund. Still waiting on the pod to be picked up. We will never use pods again and will actively deter people away from using this company.

Overall great experience. The original price was the final price. No surprises. All items were undamaged. I needed the pod to be stored for a month and then delivered to my new home. All happened smoothly. I am very happy with PODS and would use them again.

My driver James T was extra careful as my driveway is tricky. Also, he was kind enough to check to see if POD door opened before he left...it did, but only because he finessed it!! Million thx!!

Do not use pods unless you want your property damaged. Pod sent a driver with 3 weeks experience to pick up my loaded container. My driveway is on an incline and they should have sent someone with more experience. The driver damaged my newly sealed driveway, made multiple damaged spots to my yard, and knocked shingles off of my roof. The driver almost turned the full container over onto my house and patio. If I hadn't stopped the driver and insisted that they call a manager to level out the container, it would have definitely turned over onto my house. The driver turned in a damage claim and I received a phone call that said I had a claim number. But that's where it stops. There is no way to contact them and they will not call me back to resolve the damages. I was forced to repair the damages myself and pay for the repairs because I was moving and someone else was buying my house. I am completely dissatisfied and I would totally recommend anyone to use anyone else except for pods. Very bad customer service. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

The only reason I’m not rating 5 stars, is because the pod doesn’t have enough space for all of my personal toys. I have a huge collection. I would love to rate 5 stars though, because a gentleman named Cesar like the salad was the nicest guy. Helped me through the whole process. He deserves a raise! I’ll definitely come again, especially if I get more space for my private personal toys and fun space. Also need to transport some dance poles soon. I’ll be in touch!
