Does this branch accept cash to put into my PNC account?

Stop by this bank a few minutes ago and this is the most unprofessional customer service I have had ever in my life. I feel sorry for the girl that it’s in training. Closing my account. Do yourself a favor and don’t ever do business with these people.

Staff was friendly and helpful getting me a cashier's check. I wasn't sure what services this location provided as it's not a full branch and they have no cash on hand, but it worked well for what I needed.

I wanted to check my checking acct statement there but I lost my account number. However, I showed my ID, SS card, they still did not help but asked me to revisit to meet the higher level manager. When asked when he would be in office, the African American agent, who was unfriendly at all, said she did not know. Compared with other banks like Wells Fargo or Chase in which I also deposited money, PNC sucks. This is why they lose customers and the bank had no money to hire better staff. I can see their agents are lazy in office having nothing to do.

I truly detest these new machines they make us use. They frame it all nice and tell you how amazing the new self-service machines are, but I tell you... I have never entered and been able to use the machines within 45 minutes of walking in. The one time I actually walked in and was able to even try to use the machine within half an hour, the machine crashed and it took ages to reboot, then it crashed again, and an hour later I finally had my cash in hand. The machines are absolutely terrible. Every time the couple of humans that sit on the couches there always try to tell me how amazing the machines are, then I tell them how terribly they've treated me and they always act shocked. Then they can't actually do anything to help you when the machines don't work, or when someone is on the machine for 30 minutes because they can't get it to work or something.I'm not usually this negative, look at my other reviews. I just genuinely hate these machines.

A bank with no money? This location can not help with anything except an atm. Stopped in to break a $100 and they could not help. I had previously tried to cash a large check that I did not feel comfortable for an atm deposit and they could not cash a check. All things done at this location can be completed online. I asked what the staff and offices are for and they responed with all items that can be processed without stepping foot inside online. I am assuming all these people will eventually not be needed as people will not waste the time stopping in for tasks which can be completed online.

"Hello, this is a cashless bank. In no way can we help you access your funds, help you with denominations of cash, bills, coins, or anything. In fact, there's nothing we can really do at all.
How can we help you today?'
-This particular branch, but really any PNC in 2023.

Asinine. There is simply no other word other than asinine. The staff is friendly and helpful, but you simply cannot, and I do mean CANNOT, rely on this bank. Services are always going down when you need them. Random profile holds get placed on your account.A little story. These people are where my auto loan ended up. I really wish it hadn't. Tried to pay with my usual bank. Cannot set up automatic payments with external banks. Okay...I suppose. I will just transfer the money directly through an external transfer. No issue right?A few days pass after submitting this, and there is nothing. Noting on my main bank. Nothing on their end. I call in and ask, is there any evidence of a pending external transfer? They tell me no. It's the due date of my payment at this point. So naturally, I try again. A few hours pass, nothing. Not even a pending notification. So I go in person, and I again make a point to ask: IS THERE ANY PENDING TRANSFER FROM AN EXTERNAL BANK? They tell me no. So, sure, whatever. Something clearly isn't working. So I ask if I can make a payment with a debit card. This isn't my first credit union style bank, that wasn't an issue in the past. But when I place the card in that, frankly, ridiculous auto teller ATM with a virtual video call to an agent, they tell me they cannot do it with external accounts. However they CAN if I make an account with them.I wanted to avoid this, I don't need 20 different accounts, but if it makes it easier then sure. Whatever. I go through the two hour process. I make an account. I go back to the teller machine. And, fun fact, every visit to this machine you will probably get someone different that has zero idea what you just discussed with the last person. All the face to face people can only help you open accounts. Not with actual money handling, oh no. Virtual teller it is. So the person I get this time has zero idea what I am talking about, tells me that's not possible as they are not affiliated with my main bank. I sigh internally, and ask again- since it has been a few hours. Are there ANY pending external transfers? At all? Anything pending? They say no. So I leave and go to my bank, grabbing a cashier's check, because everything else failed. I pay my auto loan, wish the face on the screen a good day, and go.What happens? The check cleared. But so did everything else. Everything they ASSURED me was not pending and there was no evidence of in their system all approved at once and ended up overdrafting my checking account of my main bank.Nice and friendly staff. They didn't hear a word of my annoyance, they were doing their job to the best of their ability with the tools this company handed them. But every turn. Every last turn. Everything I try to do with this bank. Something always...always goes wrong. Even if I do everything right. In person, online, it doesn't matter. An infrastructure held together by paperclips and a game of telephone. It's absurd. Absolutely absurd. I've never, never had such a consistently terrible experience with any company ever in my life. Once my auto loan is paid off I have half a mind to close all my accounts and never grace the floor of one of PNC again. I might even refinance to get out early.

PNC absorbed Simple Bank, where I had a small amount of money in an account. Once they took over Simple, they took what little money I had there as a "monthly fee." When I went to close the empty account, at their branch, I was informed by the greeter there was one banker there who could help me, and was informed I was welcome to wait an hour for the banker to help me. I told her I had to return to work, like most people who earn money to put in a bank.Next I called their banking number to close my account where the lady with customer service was kind, and helpful. It's mind boggling that a bank branch in a place as large and growing as Nashville would have only one banker in order to assist customers. Stay away.

I showed up 5 minutes before closing on a Friday I needed a Cashier check and they told me I am sorry we are closed. It was an emergency I needed the cashier check. We don't have emergencies every Friday. If the employees wanted to leave for happy hour.

This was the worst banking experience I have ever had, and I told them that. It wasn't due to the staff being unfriendly, the impersonal approach is horrible. I walked in to do a wire, and no other patrons were in the branch at this time. There was a lady at the front desk and 2 other staff sitting on a couch at the front door (this new PNC is very open concept feel, but the collaboration is terrible). The lady at the front desk made me use my phone to sign in (first very remote) type feeling. The process didn't go well, I had to do it 3 times, and finally had to be asked (while in the branch) all these questions from texts. Finally I got thru it and was "up next" (while still no one else in the building), and she asked me to sit. I sat for 1 minute, then Brian helped (I think that was his name). He was friendly, but process was horrible. They also didn't make it clear on validating parking, I had to ask. If PNC continues to go this "google" open concept type impersonal banking, they will lose my business.
