I used to bank with Avenue Bank, who were awesome. They were absorbed into Pinnacle, who I have tried to give a fair chance, but they have been consistently disappointing.
Mobile banking deposits sometimes take 3-4 days to post, they offer terrible interest rates on savings accounts and charge high monthly fees for checking accounts, their branch hours are for people who don’t work, and they offered zero help when I was recently a victim of fraud. Do yourself a favor and don’t bank here!

Applied business credit card from Cathay Bank, Cathay bank outsourced their business cards to Pinnacle bank aka “Apex card member services”, did a hard pull on my personal credit report. Despite my 800+ credit score they denied my business card application and refused to tell me why. They lied to me said Experian made the decision. talked to Experian they told me that they only provide credit reports, it’s the bank who made the decision. I went to Citi and got approved with business card without even pulling my personal credit report. If you are looking for business credit cards, stay away from these small banks.

Beth helped me accomplish some important financials goals. She was helpful and nice and I would recommend her to everyone. She was the only banker I spoke to that was willing to hear me out and help with my needs.

*Unless you're a wealthy business owner, or a fat pension having retiree, stay away. I'm a 24 y/o trying to get by. I work in customer service and this was actually the worst interaction I've ever had on a call. I genuinely liked Pinnacle, but this was so bad I want to cry. Going to close my account & go to a bank that actually cares. Way to lose a customer Teresa Sims & her supervisor. *Debit was scheduled for 3/22/21 and money was processed and put on hold on 3/20. Reached out to the merchant that requested the payment on the 22nd and was told PINNACLE processed the payment early & that the merchant has yet to receive the funds until Monday 3/22. Was told to call PINNACLE and let them know the AGREED UPON date of the 22nd & they should (LIKE EVERY OTHER BANK) honor the AGREED UPON DATE. I was basically told to f^cK off, and I'd be broke until 3/22 when I get paid from my job at Verizon... which I've had DIRECT DEPOSIT set up in the account for YEARS. Teresa Sims was absolutely HORRIBLE & coming from a Verizon manager, I'd SERIOUSLY re think her employment with the company. Thanks for nothing, you've lost a customer. MY MONEY IS BEING HELD HOSTAGE UNTIL MONDAY. THIS PLACE SUX. Please stay the H3LL away from Pinnacle. No type of customer care or appreciation.

PARKING: we parked here for Michael Buble on 7/19 and it was a NIGHTMARE - the street attendant was inept at getting the cars out and we were trapped on the fifth floor for over an hour. DO NOT PICK THIS PARKING PLACE. When you have it suggested by Ticketmaster or another service, it is better to park miles away and walk - it will actually be faster to leave. Concert was over at 10:15 - left the parking structure after waiting at 11:35.

Unpleasant experience with the teller MAXINE WATTS. This wasn't my first unpleasant visit with her..Just a nasty rude attitude. I stopped in to make a deposit in MY account of 6 dollars and it was clearly stated on the deposit slip. Her reply was you're only depositing 6 dollars as if I was required to deposit more. She acted like it was a minimum deposit that I needed to make or like it was her account. Lets be clear this was MY account and I can deposit any amount I desire as long as I don't exceed the maximum funds. It was really none of her business why I deposited 6 bucks and it's not in her place to question me... I hate going to her counter. I will never step to her counter again..even if there's no waiting. This black woman get a teller position and forget to provide customer service. Plz get her away from the counter.
