Actually stopped in there tonight and I had no idea that they were about to close. I had to have gas & needed to use the facilities. The lady went out of her way to get me ice for a fountain drink. I travel back and forth to North West Alabama. And I stop here every time coming and going. The employee's here are great and always very helpful and have great attitudes. And there is a nice shaded area outside with tables to take a break and this place is also very CLEAN. One of my favorite places to visit. Sandwiches are pricy.....but there is a reason.....check'em out and see why!!

Needed a fuel fill-up today and saw the Shell sign. Have passed this location many times, but never really thought about stopping - usually overrun with folks (tourists?) who frequent the Loveless Cafe next door. But, today there were no crowds and I easily pulled in, filled up, and grabbed a late lunch. Fair prices on fuel (especially with Shell discount program). Inside...clean (and the staff appeared to keep busy quietly sweeping/wiping down areas on and off the entire time I was there. Restrooms - single M and single W with deadbolt locks. Clean and plenty of hand towels. Drink and beverage coolers were well-stocked. The "grab and go" hot case (mid afternoon) still had a few items for sale that looked reasonably fresh (made today ? probably). Chips, snacks, candy, etc racks were well-stocked with the usual assortment of high-cal, salty, fatty ....aka high quick energy items. Adjacent area is the "Biscuit Kitchen" featuring Loveless Cafe Biscuits - reviewed under its own Yelp listing.

A great place to stop, but there is a red light right outside the drive and is a little difficult to get out on the highway sometimes!

You have got to experience this place. Not your typical convenience store. Great staff, great food and great atmosphere. The cleanest restrooms in town. The Biscuit Kitchen is amazing and the convenience store has the best breakfast biscuits. Get here if you can!
