My Daughter’s Car broke down during a road trip to Nashville.
Rick at A1 Nashville Transmission helped her secure a “reasonable” toe truck, which was the 1st of many signs that He CARES!
After several days Rick found us a low-mileage transmission. Upon arrival, there were a couple of “tweaks” that needed to be done to meet his standards. Most would have slapped it in without a second thought.
5 hr road-trip back home and it’s running like a charm??
Highly recommend Rick’s A-1 Nashville Transmission??

No customer deserves to be treated badly by the merchant especially when you are paying him for a service, I don’t recommend you this place specially if you try work with you insurance this guys Rick has 0 tolerance to have good communication he is so rude when you call to asking about your goods he don’t have the mood our truck spend over 2 months for a simple front driver side rebuild by accident , is better take your business to other place

HORRIBLE! DO NOT make the mistake of taking your vehicle here! Rick talks a great game. I had my transmission fixed and the next day it was not right. I called the next day. My car was back in Rick's show numerous times for months at a time for the next year. I was told it was a head gasket, it was the catalytic converters and a few other things. In between visits to Rick's shop I took my car to two other transmission shops and I was told the same thing at both shops. Guess what that was.....the transmission is slipping. Rick refused to acknowledge this and refused to fix the problem. I was in a pickle as he was paid in cash. The agreement was if I paid cash I got a discount. On a $3,000+ job who would not want a discount??? I have since put a second transmission in the car from an honest transmission shop and the car is perfect now!

I haven't had my truck in the job by him yet but I read some of these reviews and they are b.s I called Rick a few weeks back and he was so helpful he talked to me on the phone He told me me he didn't want me to throw parts at my truck he told it sounds like my rear was bad and it was I got that fixed and it turned out my trans was bad to and I made sure I hunted his shop back down to get my car fixed looking forward to doing business with u rickService: Transmission

Rick solved my dilemma !! Our LR4 had total transmission failure. Our repair in Brentwood couldn't locate a rebuilt or new transmission for replacement. So I called around to the local transmission shops -- all said no (too hard to get parts, too hard to program Land Rover). Rick took on the job without hesitation for a fair price. Now back from Rick's, our LR4 shifts better than it did new. Five stars for Rick and his team.Services: Transmission

***DO NOT GO HERE***They disconnected my transmission then told me to spend 5 thousand to fix it took 7 days to diagnose. I took it some where else all it was, was a solenoid issue took $100.00 to fix some where else. ***DONT GO HERE***Service: Transmission

My car was in the shop for months. I continued to have issues after the repair. I took my car back to A1 within my year warranty. It was there again for months. I eventually had to take it to the dealer to get my transmission fixed even though I was within my warranty. Please don’t waste your time or money.
