Worst experience of my life got charged for something I told them I couldn’t afford. I told them I didn’t want to do it because I couldn’t afford it then they told me if I applied for a care credit card it would be free so I agreed to getting it done. They didn’t tell me if I got approved I would have to pay for it and the nurse should have told me before taking my dog back to have it done that I would pay for it because I said I didn’t want it and it wasn’t fully necessary. Now I am stuck with a payment plan for something I didn’t want because of a communication issue. Never going back again. Do not recommend unless you have unlimited funds, even if it is an emergency because they will charge you for unnecessary things.
Edit: I discussed every one of my concerns with the staff and the issue on the lack of communication and they did nothing. Even worse every single person who I spoke with mansplained to me why I was having to pay for it despite it being a mistake on your end. This entire situation is really frustrating and I think a refund is necessary. You need to have a chat with your staff on communication. This response does absolutely nothing to solve my problem when they are already aware of it and have done absolutely nothing to make it better. This is your mistake you should fix it.

My experience here was horrible. I brought my dog in because she had diarrhea with blood after eating a chicken bone. I told the staff multiple times I had just graduated college and didn’t have a lot of money. I told the nurse who was going over the prices with me that I couldn’t afford anything but the consult since the other stuff wasn’t fully necessary as she wasn’t dehydrated. They told me she should feel better in a couple days. The nurse came back and said “I can do you one better just apply for this care credit and the fluids and consult will be free!” This sounded great to me as I really didn’t have the extra money. I applied embellishing my income a bit to get approved because I thought that was what I needed to get the services for free. Mind you the fluids they were wanting to give her were $120 which I couldn’t afford. I applied knowing I wasn’t going to use the care credit card but failed to mention if I was approved they wouldn’t take those prices off and took her back for fluids anyway even though I expressed I couldn’t afford it to begin with. I go to the front expecting to pay the less than 100 dollars we had discussed and got hit with a $370 bill that I did not ask for. When I explained the situation they essentially said that’s your problem pay for it. AFTER I EXPRESSED I DIDN’T WANT TO DO IT AND ONLY AGREED BECAUSE I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE FREE. This is absolutely ridiculous because I told them I couldn’t afford it and they should have told me I would be paying for it since approved. I will never be back again after this experience. They should have communicated better and taken accountability for the situation. Now I am stuck with a payment plan for something I didn’t want done to begin with.

I can't say enough . The staff and the Doctors are so kind and personable. I have all the confidence in the world that if it's possible they can fix it .

Unfortunately had to visit twice in one week and ended up losing both our boys. Team was QUICK for emergency intake which was great. Front desk staff were angels and all the emergency doctors were good. I’ve had ER experiences at Nashville Veterinary Specialists in the past that exceeded our expectations, so they will always be my first choice but Blue Pearl was still a good option for when NVS was full. Sweet people.

I can’t thank BluePearl Nashville enough for the incredible care they provided for my dog, Ruby. Dr. Pack, Dr. Smith, Dr. Buford, and Dr. Fournier went above and beyond to ensure Ruby received the best possible treatment. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly, making sure I understood each step of the process.
The entire team, including the nurses and techs, were not only professional but also compassionate. I appreciated being able to call and check on Ruby whenever I wanted; it made a difficult situation much more manageable. Their dedication and support truly made a difference during such a challenging time.
Thanks to their expertise and kindness, Ruby is on the road to recovery. I’m so grateful to everyone at BluePearl Nashville for their outstanding patient care! Highly recommend them to anyone in need of emergency veterinary services!

Blue pearl was awesome. Our Lab came home from his trainer with a severe ear infection and was clearly very sick. Holiday weekend so we would have gone 48 more hours without care. We spent the afternoon at Blue Pearl and with their treatment he was acting back to normal before he would have even been seen by our vet.

Vetinerary Specialties just became a whole lot more available in Nashville! & we couldn't be happier: BluePearl known for years as providing board certified emergency care has added Vetinerary Dermatology as a specialty discipline at both their Nashville and Franklin locations.
Even better, you no longer need a referral so that if you suspect your pet has a skin issue, you can just schedule and have a consult to get a top-notch diagnosis.

Our family was blessed with the sweetest rescue pup, "Charlie" (goldendoodle) who ended up having a lot of health issues. Poor guy was literally starving eating everything in sight, including a BANDANA! Without the care (involving an emergency surgery) of Blue Pearl Hospital, he may not have survived (and wasn't given the greatest survival rate before the surgery). Blue Pearl staff sent updates via text (including pics of Charlie during recovery). They called and checked in once he was discharged, at least daily. After having his follow up last week, he had gained almost 8 pounds and is thriving and healthy. Thank you Blue Pearl for saving Charlie's life. We will forever be grateful for your genuine care, your unconditional love, and the kindness of every single staff member. Lots of love, The West/Trosper family

They were amazing!
They were tender and kind and helped my baby thru a very scary possible poisoning. I had just had surgery myself so it was a very emotional experience for me.. and their entire staff held us all so beautifully. Though it was pricey it was exactly what we needed to get thru it!

We took our 10 year old boxer in due to emergency seizure activity. Dr. Noel made what was the hardest day of our lives so comforting and caring. She truly is an amazing person and veterinarian. We never doubted our girl was getting the best care. Thank you, Dr. Noel for being an amazing dr. and person.

Have used them many times and they are always very professional this last time I took my kitten there she was sick and they did what they could but she passed away and they were so awsome gave us a paw print and never charged us for anything MY deepest Thanks to the staff for being so caring about our situation

The staff at Blue Pearl was great to work with. Very appreciative to Olivia for answering all my questions and helping out when we were there. Would definitely recommend this emergency vet to others.
