The people here were fantastic. Thanks for being so kind to our dogs. We had a fantastic stay even though the ice was a little crazy.

I haven't stayed here. I tried to make reservations, and they were very rude.

Stacy at the MOXY (Vanderbilt location) is the absolute BEST. I accidentally booked a room at the Downtown Moxy, and actually needed a room at the Vanderbilt location. She was great in assisting with getting my reservation switched to this location. She treated me with the utmost respect. Her customer service is 5 STARS!!!

Really cool hotel in a nice part of Nashville. I like the steampunk vibe of the building, it makes the place unique. The lobby area is set up like as a bar with a good selection and tasty drinks. Their coffee is good too. Every employee I interacted with was very friendly and professional. There is a towel stash in the hallway if you need more towels before room service comes, which I haven't seen before. Lots of good food options within walking distance. I highly recommend the Pancake Pantry for breakfast. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable (if you like firmer mattresses like I do). I only knock it down a star because the bathroom and shower have frosted windows. They're not totally see-through but you can definitely tell what's going on in there. It's not the end of the world because they're not visible from the beds (at least not in the room I was in, but I believe they are visible in other rooms) but it's something to be aware of. Overall a nice stay and definitely a place I would come back to.P.S.: You get a free drink token when you check in, which is a nice touch.Nearby activities: Lots of shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance.Walkability: Situated in a nice part of Nashville with very good walkability.Food & drinks: Good drink selection. I didn't try any of the food but the menu looked good.

Very basic rooms with a steam punk industrial minimalist vibe. Serious flaws abound in these rooms. Window from bathroom to bedroom area. Yeah, it’s rippled glass but you can see the person on the toilet and know what they are doing. Very poor feature!! No dresser, no closet, RV size sink, corrugated metal ceiling with a barn light, end tables way too low to the bed and a toilet lid that does not fit the bowl. Ugh!!! Also super dark hallways and the lobby is just a big bar. On the up side the shower and tv are large, bed is comfy and the outside room deck/porch is nice.Food & drinks: Plenty of places within walking distance to eat and drink.

This hotel is perfectly located for either a Vanderbilt or Belmont visit. Near the Main Street and restaurants. Lobby has great activities and bar and occasional trunk shows. The hotel's housekeeping staff is AMAZING as they quickly returned a valuable and list item!!!Nearby activities: Music Row, Main Street shopping, many restaurants.Walkability: Easy to walk everywhere from here: Centennial Park, Vanderbilt football, Belmont Performing Arts, Hospital, and even downtown (uphill)Noteworthy details: Lobby has darts, pool, nice lounging accommodations.

Staff is a bit nonchalant, which I suppose is kind of what Moxy aims for. Rooms were nice and clean, gym great, lobby good, food options and drink quality, not so much.Nearby activities: Tons to eat around there and super close to BelmontFood & drinks: Not great quality

Upon arriving at Moxy, service by the front desk staff was lacking. There was one attendant behind the bar who appeared to be looking down at her personal phone. She never looked up as I was standing at the check in area - I had to wait for another attendant to come from another area to finally get checked in. This attendant lacked basic customer service skills. I did not realize that the person who booked the room had to be a senior to get the senior rate, but had my mother in the car who is a senior. I asked if we could transfer the reservation into my moms name, but she just said no (offered no alternative). She then called a supervisor, but was arguing with the supervisor when the supervisor told her to honor the rate since my mom was in the car. I explained that we had just spent 12 hours at Vanderbilt Medical Center visiting a patient (long day!), yet she didn’t seem sympathetic at all, and continued to question the supervisor saying another staff member told her not to honor the rate. It seemed like we were going to be at a standstill, but she finally honored the rate and got us checked in. I was excited to try Moxy, but never again.

Cons first…Lacks accommodations, only a very, basic hotel for sleeping, showering, and that’s it. I don’t recommend this hotel if you have kids. There’s no dressers. There’s nowhere to sit unless on the bed, for example, no courtesy couches. There’s only one trashcan which is in the bathroom. Not one for the main sleeping area. There’s nowhere to sit your things such as suitcases, food, bags, etc. because there are no tables. Of course, there are nightstands, but not on the far right bed, which is weird. The nightstands also are very small and you have little space to work with. There was a couple brown stains on a lamp and the bed sheets. Speaking of the bed sheets, they were very thin. BRING YOUR OWN BLANKET or you will freeze. Also, the beds were super close to the ground. The entire bed frames and mattresses are 0/10. Very cheaply made. Good for just sleeping obviously, but not comfort. It’s just cheaply made, things kept breaking here and there like the shower knob would come off.No updated c-chargers and not enough outlets for charging your phone, Apple Watch, laptops, etc. I don’t like how the front desk concierge isn’t really there when you walk in, just a huge bar.ProsIt had a very nice and clean bathroom. The water was a perfect temperature. The shower and sink pressure was great, but the sink faucet splatters water all over the sink. Their TV’s are also very nice too, they do have Netflix. The hardwood floors were clean and shiny.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless it’s your very last option you have, then you will be OK. (:Food & drinks: No free breakfast here. There are snacks you can purchase though.

I love this hotel. The staff are VERY friendly. I've stayed here several times and they keep the lobby emaculate. Another huge benefit is the location. All kinds of delicious food and neat shops are well within walking distance. They were all really nice with my little ones too. Just a great place to stay!

Had a great stay! The rooms are nice I enjoyed having a stash closet on the floor that way if I needed another towel or another makeup wipe I could go get it. The lobby is fun and the staff is friendly. Location was great not far from all the attractions. Would stay
