This review is for Hermitage animal clinic, not just this doctor. If you plan on bringing your pets here plan on spending a lot of money. It seems that this place cares more about making money than they do about treating your pet. I have a lab with allergies, and I understand that allergy testing is expensive ($600). I was fine with that. The issue is that until his new medicine kicks in (which can take up to a year) he needs to get cortizone shots every other month to help with itching. He has been in the office every other month for this, so when i made the last appointment i didn't think i needed to specify that he DOES NOT need an exam, just the shot like before, yet when I went to pay the bill it was $63, not the $25 i thought i was going to have to pay. they told me that it was my fault for not saying which dr i normally go to; i was wrong to assume they looked at their records prior to making my appointment. this has happened a few times now and i've learned my lesson but i am still pretty ticked about it. i bring my other pets, and this pet for annual shots, to Value Vet.
