We had a fabulous experience from start to finish at the Mattress King on White Bridge Road! Our in-store experience was fantastic—relaxed, informative, and not an uncomfortable hard-sell environment like other mattress stores we visited. We ended up purchasing a Cal King Stearns and Foster mattress. We told the manager that we had previously ordered a similar Stearns and Foster mattress from Costco but the delivery people were not able to get it up the stairs. The manager said, “They weren’t our guys,” and assured me that if there was already a Cal King up there (which there was) that his guys could do it. Well, the delivery guys (Matty and Larry) just left after successfully and flawlessly getting the mattress up our tricky old staircase and into our room. I could tell it was extremely challenging and taxing, but they did it without hesitation and without a complaint. Thanks to Mattress King for going above and beyond, and I would recommend they give Matty and Larry a raise because they are the absolute best!

Chuck at the store was helpful and so friendly. In and out in about 30 minutes. Delivery was easy and on time too. Can't say anything better about them!

Mattress King at 440 Sam Ridley Parkway; Smyrna TN 37167 is not recommended for purchasing a mattress. The customer service is terrible. I purchased a Simmons Harmony mattress for $1,755.99 and upon receipt, it was defective. Calls were made to the store, but no action was taken by the store. Next a clerk said to follow the warranty site instructions. Their solution was to turn it over, since there was a dip. I emailed that I wanted a new mattress. At another trip to the store the salesclerk said she would talk to the owner, because he would have to handle the situation. After days of no response, I called the store and was told to pay $100.00 to the company and someone would come to my home to check the condition of the mattress. The representative acknowledged the defect. Several weeks passed and no communication with me. Finally, I was told to pay a $100.00 delivery fee and they would deliver me another mattress. After almost a year I received a new mattress. The extra money ($200.00) and stress was terrible. The owner nor a person in authority tried to resolve this situation

UPDATE: your response below is factually inaccurate and completely dodges the fact that you didn’t deliver what I paid for and refuse to give me my money back and you don’t return a customers calls or emails. 1) Never once did you mention I was getting a credit for my old box spring. Not once. In fact your policy, which you stated below, is that you DONT refund people’s money for their box springs if they have any issue with their mattress during your 4 month “trial period”. So why on earth would I think I was getting a credit if you never told me? The ONLY thing you communicated was that I owed $120 for new box springs. 2) I have not received the new box springs but you refuse to refund my money. That is theft. 3) you don’t return any of my calls or emails on the matter the way a reputable, responsible business would. I’ve had to file a complaint with my credit card company and the better business bureau because of this horrible and dishonest experience.I was supposed to receive a mattress and box springs. They delivered the mattress but I didn’t take the box springs. I’ve contacted the store half a dozen times by phone and email re: getting refunded for the box springs and they have completely ignored me. It’s basically theft. I would recommend going anywhere but here. Beyond frustrated and disappointed.

I bought a mattress and box spring at the end of last year. When it turned out to not be a great mattress and I wanted to exchange it for a different size during their free trial period, they said ok, but that the box spring couldn't be returned. they would only take back the mattress and I was stuck with the box spring. I thought that was super weird but what was I gonna do. so I bought a new box spring and also paid the difference for the more expensive mattress. A month later they delivered the new mattress (for $100 delivery fee) and took the old mattress away, but also asked for the old box springs back. I explained that I wasnt being refunded for those so I was going to keep them, and the delivery guy got very rude and aggressive with me. In the end I accepted the replacement mattress but not the new box springs, the driver took the old mattress and the driver left. I contacted the store and only then did they tell me they had credited the cost of my old box spring towards the new box spring.They literally had never said a word about that until it was too late. so they said they could bring the new box springs I've already paid for back, but that I'd have to pay another $100 for delivery. they want me to pay for their poor and confusing communication. at this point I said never mind, and simply asked for a refund for the box springs i paid for but I didnt receive. Now they won't return any of my calls or emails. Totally ghosted me. So basically they take money for a product, don't provide it, and then completely ignore their customers. So...theft. this was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I would recommend going anywhere for a new mattress other than this place.

We stopped in about 10 minutes before the store was to close and the salesperson welcomed us with a smile and offered to show us any mattress we might be interested in. We looked at a fully memory foam mattress and decided that we were more interested in a hybrid foam/coil mattress. We purchased a Sealy hybrid and it was delivered less than a week later. We are very pleased with the purchase and the service we received at the Belle Meade Location. The salesperson was fantastic and very helpful.

Very friendly, not pushy, and they did everything they said they would do. On time, courteous and acted like they actually appreciated our business! So rare these days!
