You NEED to get your nails done here! I moved here from Florida and couldn’t find a salon for the life of me! I just wanted a place that was clean, friendly, and took pride in making my nails beautiful. Thankfully I found Alissa and Lacquer Lounge!
The best salon in Nashville by far! Alissa is the best! So nice, so warm, and always does such a beautiful job! She truly cares that you’re happy and is so gentle! Not to mention her nail art is stunning too!
You will be so happy you gave them a try! My forever Nashville salon and it will be yours too!

If you are an international visitor don’t bother. The website doesn’t allow you to pre-book and it is by appointment only. I spent an entire morning trying to make a simple appointment and failed. Try elsewhere.

This is hands down the best nail place in all of Nashville. I have been going to this place for years and regularly see the owner, Alissa, but have also had to opportunity to be treated by nearly ever member of her staff. Everyone is talented, fun to be around, and wonderfully kind. People literally stop me on the street to ask about my nail art! If you’re looking for top notch nail services, this is the place!

Love this place so very much! Have never had a bad experience here and have been a regular for months now. I've used three girls, I forgot who the other one was but Kelcie and Mercedes are my regulars. I've never left not loving my nails, they put up with my indecisiveness, and when I can't I decide I give general guidelines like "no blues, no sparkles" and they just create magic. Also, everyone here is always extremely nice

BEWARE OF KELLCIE BYRD. This girl ruined my nails 2 days before my wedding. I went to Kellcie one time prior to this appointment and she did what I thought was a decent job on my nails. I figured I could trust her to do my wedding nails. I made an appointment weeks in advance to ensure I could get my nails done. I ended up getting my nails done at Chao nail bar weeks prior to my appointment with Kellcie. I had multi-flex gel with a tip extension put on at Chao nail. I am attaching the definition of what this is as follows: "Luminary Nail Systems revolutionized the nail industry with the release of the Multi Flex Gel! This gel is a soak off gel that is a base + builder in one and cures to a hard gel finish, providing incredible strength to the natural nail." I still had my nails on prior to my appointment with Kellcie, though when I booked, I booked as though I did not have any tips on my nails so I figured I would call a few days prior and make sure that this was okay and that we had enough time allotted. I also asked if I could get this multi-flex gel filled here and the girl on the phone had me come in 30 minutes early to my appointment to discuss options of either a fill or a complete removal of these nails and re-application of gel-x extensions if necessary. My appointment time was at 2:30, I showed up a little early. I was in this chair until 5:15pm when I finally told Kellcie to stop and that I was going to leave. Nail removal experience: My appointment started out with her quizzing me on what exactly was on my nails. What it looked like, was it powder, was it in a jar? I explained that it came from a nail polish looking bottle and that it was thick liquid put on my nail, then put under a UV light to set it. She rolled her eyes at me. I told her it is called multi-flex gel, looked up what it was and showed her. She continued to argue with me back and forth over several minutes, that this was "not a gel, it's acrylic, and we don't remove acrylic here" I finally told her she was freaking me out because my wedding was in two days. She got up and left and after several minutes came back and told me she would just remove these and we could re-apply the hard gel-x tip extensions. I agreed. She began to remove my nails, huffing and puffing the entire time. She seemed offended to be removing what was on my nails and made another comment letting me know that "this is definitely acrylic just so I know not to ever go back to wherever I went to," and that this other place "lied" to me about what they put on my nails. I remained silent. I was confused why I was being punished for what was on my nails, but continued to remain silent hoping not to offend her any further. After approximately an hour and a half of her removing my nails-she finally started to fit my nails for the hard gel tips. Gel-X application experience: I don't love my nails to be too long. Kellcie clipped my nails and then filed them. She would ask me if it was short enough and I continued to tell her I wanted them shorter. She did two nails and told me to just let her finish these two then we will fix the length if needed. I kept telling her I wanted it shorter after she kept barely filing them down and then asking me if "this was good." I tried to show her a length with my fingers next to my nail, but nothing was clicking for her. She kept barely filing. I told her maybe she could clip them again to save some time. She barely clipped anything off and then would keep barely filing and asking if it was good. Each time I would tell her I wanted them shorter, she would get more angry. I was offending her again. She was huffing and her tone was extremely disapproving. Finally after I couldn't stand how she made me feel for asking for them to be shorter, and her barely removing any length, I told her they were fine. Though, they were not. Painting experience: I showed Kellcie a picture of a french manicure on an almond shape nail that I wanted. Gel-x tips are clear when applied so you could see m

To be clear, I randomly found the Lacquer Lounge on google in 2018 and to this day it is the only place I will go to get my nails done and get my hair dyed. I do not cheat on the people of Lacquer Lounge, I am very loyal to them. And let me tell you why (in list form because I love lists):1. They (the people that work there) are extremely kind2. They are extremely talented. Like they do things with nail art and hair dye and tooth gems that I could not do even if I had two brains and four hands.3. They have always treated me with the utmost respect, and as a Black woman this is not something I expect to get everywhere. It is their standard and I am so thankful that this a safe, inclusive space for all people and it has always been that way.4. They are extremely professional. In my 5 or so years of going to the Lacquer Lounge I have noticed that this is the toughest thing for some people to deal with. The people that work here and the management do their best to ensure that appointments are timely and you get all of the services you want. They are consistently booked out and even then they take additional appointments when other people cancel. I think it does bother some people that they will not bend or break their rules around appointments and services, but without these things in place they would not run as efficiently as they do and i’m sure this would risk some of them getting payed as they should and/or when they should. I’ve never had a single issue with any appointment or service here and as hard as everyone works here, I would really be hard pressed to believe that many other people have either. This is a valuable and indispensable local business and they deserve all the support and recognition in the world. I know that if I move out of nashville i’m going to struggle to find the same type of business. Please Lacquer Lounge, keep doing exactly what you’re doing. And if you are out there wanting to visit this holy grail of a beauty salon, book out if you can and give the same kindness and respect that the employees give because they deserve it.Services: Hairstyling
