I am a Kroger faithful for a variety of reasons, but sadly, this location is not one of them. This location is not my go-to location, but when leaving the nearby gym, I will swing in to grab a thing or two. However, over the past two years the convenience of this location is being outweighed by the deteriorating condition of this store and lackluster service...plus the parking lot is laid out in a way where accidents are almost inevitable. Overall, this Kroger needs some major help. There is another location just down Gallatin, alongside a nearby Publix and Aldi. If this location does not do something, the doors are sure to close in the coming years.

I have lived in East Nashville for 71/2 years. The pharmacy staff has always been wonderful, even in spite of being short staffed. Lack of staff is the reason the drive-thru has been closed. Go elsewhere if you choose but don’t bad-mouth the hard working staff.

I have had my prescriptions here for years. The last six months has been the worst. The drive through is never open. I have a vitamin D deficiency and they refuse to fill the prescription my Dr sent in last year. Today my Dr is sending another prescription in. I called to ask them to please fill it as it's written. The person gives me some attitude. It took them over an hour to answer the phone. It takes them three days to fill a prescription. The excuse is that they have no staff. I advised that they were in violation of ADA and she laughed.

Used to be better, but now the drive-thru is NEVER open.....and they don't answer their phones half the time. Funny how Walgreens across the street is able to function without such nonsense. We used fuel points to save a fair amount of money but we'll be going elsewhere from now on.

I've never been impressed with Kroger. And I regret to say this is the worst Kroger let alone one of the worst grocery stores I've ever set foot in. Most Krogers have the same characteristics that turn me off: misplaced items, littered floors, lazy employees. But seeing the sign that wine sales were not permitted on thanksgiving really set me off. When I asked the employees, none of them gave me a reasonable answer; just the heave-ho of "That's what the manager wants" with shrugged shoulders. All while they were stocking the wine shelves which doesn't make sense if you're not selling wine on thanksgiving. "You can buy beer though" they responded. Sorry, I want wine, not beer. Alcohol discrimination at it's finest. Obviously I'm disgusted by this. As anyone would be.

They're pretty unhelpful sadly because they're so close to my home. The pharmacist lied to me about where I could get my prescription filled. When I pointed out how that doesn't make sense she put me on hold. Came back and told me that I'm right but now they don't carry the prescription I have.

My prescription got sent in yesterday at 5:30pm. Got to kroger pharmacy at 6:30pm(sign and Google says they close at 8) they were closed at 6:30pm. They lied and said they were open yesterday. Umm,no they weren't. I didn't just imagine them being closed.. Go today at 4pm and they told me it wouldn't be ready until 6pm. We asked why it was not already ready in the 22 hours they had. Told me I wasn't in their system, yet they had my old address and phone number. Because of the being closed early yesterday I HAD to go to Walgreens. We did not have this issue. It took them 30 minutes to have my prescription filled and even though I've never been to that Walgreens they have my information. Then when we asked kroger pharmacy on why even the 2 hour delay they popped back with attitudes and just said it wouldn't be ready until then. NEVER EVER have I had to wait 2 hours for a prescription to get filled.

I will never forget the Pharmacy experience with KD. Rude, treated me like I was a child, sarcastically answered my questions, and actually lectured me about the medication. Life is really short lately, it’s not necessary to expose yourself to this type of passive/aggressive behavior.I’m transferring my prescriptions immediately. I found a new Pharmacy that treats me like the older adult that I am! And they very kind and concerned about my questions on the prescription, cheaper alternatives and side effects.

With Publix open now close by you would think they would try to get cashiers that have a better attitude. Nope. They still can't greet you with a smile, say hello, or say thank you.
