Stayed at the JW Marriott for 2 nights for the Recruiting & Retention Conference. The hotel is in a great location and is beautiful. The lobby is open to the bar and it's a very comfortable atmosphere. I stayed on the 16th floor and my view was wow! The room was very clean and lovely. The bathroom was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was really well prepared too.The only downside I would need to discuss is the showers water pressure was pretty non existent. It didn't get very hot either so the shower experience wasn't great. Also, no matter what I did, we could not get the wifi to work in the room.. only in the lobby, which was really odd.Overall, beautiful hotel and great experience.

Let me tell you, this hotel is the greatest. Kim helped me celebrate my wedding anniversary by providing us with a free bottle of champagne and even decorated our room with rose petals. Couldn’t have asked for more. Only negative is that the rooms aren’t soundproof. Heard any and all commotion coming from the street below. Still not bad overall. The corner rooms are so perfect. The bed overlooks an amazing view of downtown Nashville. A hop, skip, and a jump away from Broadway. Even had a few drinks at the Cumberland Lounge in the lobby before walking to Broadway. Was only here for a weekend but will definitely plan a longer trip next time. Without a doubt, this will be the only hotel I will stay at when visiting Nashville.

It's in an excellent location, has ample conference space, in addition to being across from the Music City Center. The rooms, restaurants... Can't say enough about the JW! It's a bonus that when you reserve a stay here through our agency, it'll include exclusive amenities. #winning ?

We booked a room with a military discount and was not told until arrival that it is for active military only. Guy at the front desk was not helpful at all and didn't even try to offer a resolution to the situation. He just canceled our reservation and didnt even say bye or anything. Definitely not great service and I wouldn't return just by the atmosphere and service I reveived by being there for less than 10 minutes. I am also a Marriott bonvoy member and card holder and am very disappointed that the man at the front desk dismissed me so quickly. I booked another stay at the W hotel and am glad that I did because they treated us like we were welcome to stay there.

Visited for the pop up Sweet Spot and it was amazing! 100/10 service. All of the staff were amazing but Ha especially stood out. She was so kind and attentive to everyone- making sure everyone got lots of cute pictures and had everything they needed at all times. Will 100% be returning just for her.I cannot rate the rooms because I did not stay here (yet).

Rooftop bar and restaurant had great views. The stomping grounds restaurant had a decent brunch buffet.

Proper 5 star hotel.Great Rooms..Great Service, Great Location. One issue is that Marriott tricks you while joining wifi where for free wifi you have to sign up to Marriott Bonvoy but that is shown in a very small font..so a normal person will see only paid wifi as available option..not a good practice.

This is hands down one of our favorite hotels. We have stayed here multiple times and love it, it is wonderful. The staff are attentive and welcoming. The lobby is beautiful with a lovely fireplace to sit by while enjoying a cocktail from the bar. We recommend this hotel to everyone that asks.

This was the most incredible hotel I’ve stayed in that was not a resort. Fantastic service, awesome restaurants and amenities, perfect location. I cannot say enough positive things about my week staying in this hotel. And I am a lifetime Gold Marriott member so have stayed at many many Marriotts (and JWs)

We stayed early February on a Thursday to a Sunday with two kids (7 & 4). We had a room on the 29th floor with a view of the Music City Center - queen room.As soon as you walk in the lobby, you can see how impressive this hotel is and how well it is maintained and cared for. There is always someone cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc. It looked pristine the entire time we stayed. Our room had plenty of space for the 4 of us to have suitcases and stuff around the room. The floor to ceiling windows were amazing and the view was lovely - great sunrises. Blackout curtains were legit, too. Beds were comfortable (on the softer side) and big fluffy pillows. There was a large desk, two benches and an arm chair that came in handy for organizing our stuff. There was a closet, but we did not use it. It came with robes and slippers - the kids loved the slippers! The bathroom is very spacious with a separate toilet room. Large glass shower with pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a bar of soap - they smelled SO good, very Aveda like. Vanity had two sinks, large mirror, makeup mirror on the wall, bottle of lotion, and some other vanity items. Plenty of towels, too. The room does have a coffee / bar area that has the coffee machine, rocks glasses and wine glasses. The mini fridge is stocked with beverages and there are some snacks, as well. I did ask if we could have the mini bar items removed (as to not temp the kids), however, they said they couldn't remove the items but they could bring up an extra mini fridge for us to use, which was appreciated. Small things that I appreciated - hook by the door for coats or purses and the button display for privacy, etc.For some reason we thought they had an indoor pool, however, we were happy to hear the outdoor pool was heated. The weather was 55+ that weekend and it was perfect swimming weather for the kids. We had the pool to ourselves the whole time! Huge outdoor area, so this would be amazing in the summer with all the cabanas, and Cabana Club bar, etc.Hubby used the gym and said it was awesome - great machines, clean, bright, etc.We grabbed some quick snacks and breakfast at Stompin' Grounds Market a few days and it was SO good. We didn't get a chance to eat in the Stompin' Grounds restaurant, but it looked amazing. Super cute.We did not dine at Bourbon Steak on the 34th floor - but we did go up to see the views one night and then another night to sit at the bar and grab a cocktail (we were lucky to grab a seat!). The views... OMG the views! You have to come up to just see the views! The Bourbon Sky windows were all closed, so it wasn't open air as it would be in warmer months, but it was stunning nonetheless. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night - clearly! Make reservations! And if you want Bourbon... this is your place to go!Staff was great, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was busy as there was a convention right across the street but it never felt crowded and it always looked polished and shiny.Another huge perk was the proximity to all the things - 2 blocks from Broadway, across the street from the convention center, 1 block from the arena, 2 blocks from the concert venue and tons of restaurants, bars, breweries all within walking distance!Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a higher end hotel in Nashville.
