Excellent service. Dough Bundy (pardon my spelling) was outstanding. He is a true professional and did not jam unnecessary services down my throat instead he was upfront and reassuring. Another reason why I service my Lexus here.

My "Check Englne" light went on after taking my vehicle thorough the car wash. ISS found that there was a corroded wire attached to the Evap Fuel Vapor Sensor. Wire replaced. Check Engine light went off. Another great service performed by ISS while I waited. These people are professionals and you can experience that by the way they treat their customers and keep the customer informed about what is happening while they have your vehicle in their possession.

Incompetent ran business, horrible business practice and customer service. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to take your vehicles to this place. The prices they charge you definitely don’t match the service. My vehicle was damaged after they supposedly fixed my suspension system only to have it fail again less than 24 hours after picking it up from their shop. They are rip offs for sure

This place is a rip off! DO NOT USE! My husband put his BMW in the shop last week for the air suspension and picked up the car on Friday afternoon and paid $4500 for all the work that was diagnosed by their certified master technician.
After spending $4500 we didn't even get a courtesy car wash! While driving the car less than 24 hours later, the suspension fell again. We had the car towed back to the shop on Sunday and had to pay $200.00 because it was a weekend. Now they are saying something else is wrong and want us to spend another $1300! Byron stated they test drove the car 100 miles after they fixed it and it was no problems and the car had only been driven 4 miles from the time we dropped it off until the time we picked it up!! While speaking to Byron and yes we are very angry he hung up the phone! Will definitely be filing with the BBB! Totally unprofessional! We have spent thousands of dollars with them!! The diagnostic report was all green on Friday but Monday it has multiple errors and things wrong but none of this was brought to our attention. This company is TRASH and DO NOT USE!! I would give a negative 5 stars if I could! Attached are some of the receipts where we have spent thousands of dollars over the years! They did not offer to reimburse us for the tow or offer a discount to fix it!! This company needs to be put out of business!!

I’ve used Import Specialty for several years and I have never been disappointed. Their service is spot on all the time. I have a Lexus and I won’t allow any other company to work on it. As far as the front desk staff, both Doug and Ryder are extremely personable and professional. They go out of their way to ensure customers are happy. I am 100% confident in this company and recommend them without hesitation.

Best independent mechanic in Nashville. If you’re looking for an honest, non-dealer mechanic for your car, this is the place. It can be difficult to find a shop with the experience, customer service, AND value to fix or maintain your car, but ISS does it all. As a family owned business, they are committed to good and honest service. I’ve used them for several Volvo’s and Audi’s. Their crews are very familiar with the complexity of all cars, especially those like BMW, Audi, Volvo, and many others.

The team at ISS is top-notch. Skilled technicians and great customer service. Big shout-out to Doug for all his time spent with us and our cars. The ISS team really takes the time to explain their findings and get you to the best solution. They are transparent with what they find and the possible next steps you’ll have to take. We had taken one of our cars to another shop for a small oil leak and they told us we needed to replace three separate components which with labor was extremely costly. The team at ISS explained why we only needed 1 component replaced, very knowledgeable techs. After this positive experience we had ISS perform an emissions system repair on our other vehicle and they did a great job.
I would highly recommend ISS to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy shop. Even if you already take your car somewhere else give them a shot, you never know until you get that second opinion.

They used to be amazing. But their service is no longer up to speed. They charged me for services I didn’t need, and after paying them $3k, my car broke down the same day I picked it up. They called me a few days before pickup to say that water had gotten into the electrical when then flushed my engine and that it shorted the ac out. Then they called back two days later to say they fixed it and the car was ready. My pickup that morning was delayed because I went to pick the car up and they inadvertently had the windshield washer fluid lines connected backwards. (Seriously) I gave two stars instead of one because their service technician is a nice guy and because they sent a tow truck to pick the car up after it broke down. My $3k tow truck experience.

There are always two sides to every story, This is my side: Import Specialty charged me over $1,000 for a car problem they knowingly did not fix and were then unwilling to make it right by refund or repair. It is unacceptable for any business to violate ethical principles.
Initially, I discussed with Doug a problem with my car. He notified me they researched it and texted a solution with descriptions of what was to be fixed.
When they let me know me the car was ready, I paid and drove away only to discover it had the same problem. I called right away to let them know and explained to Doug, and eventually Byron. It was very disappointing for both of them to then tell me their ‘solution‘ did not always work, that I could not have any refund, and recommended I go to the dealership to pursue fixing the car. I am very disappointed this company would treat any customer this way.
