“Loved my stay at the Russell. This hotel is beautiful and the design is perfection. The complimentary local snacks and water were very appreciated after a long business day where I didn’t have time to grab snacks. The bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of breakfast choices minutes away. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. Parking was easy. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would stay again next time I’m in Nashville.”

“This hotel is so conveniently located and a great concept. I love that the building was once a church which comforted me!
The room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay! I’d definitely stay here again!”

“Great hotel with amazing staff. Gym was also well equipped with a variety of machines and free weights as well as a large room for stretching etc. my only complaint would be that it seemed a little cheap to charge guests for wifi when you are paying around 500$ a night to stay there. I just used data but for guests coming from out of country it’s annoying.”

“We stayed here for our first time. This place is really cool. Rooms are very modern and hip. Staff is very friendly and they make sure their needs are met. Communication is very good via text and you even receive your room number and code prior to getting there. I highly recommend this place.”

“We stayed at an AirBNB in the Gulch and this was walking distance. Brunch was absolutely delicious. The music each day we walked by was just a single singer that was jaw droppingly good! Eat there and sit out on the patio with the singer!

Walkability: Great location for lots of nearby murals, a little over a mile to downtown.

Food and drinks: Brunch was phenomenal!!!

Noteworthy details: 3 murals very close by to check out! Lots of cute shops about 1 block away in the gulch.”

“Attending a concert at Bridgestone Arena and the location was in perfect walking distance for us. The valet service at this property was the best we've experienced.

Rooms: Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable.

Nearby activities: Bridgestone, The Ryman, Broadway, Food Assembly, Printer's Alley all within walking distance.

“Pleasantly surprised! I typically don’t like best western hotels. They are usually over priced for the quality. They are like travel lodges or Super 8. It’s surprisingly stylish as well. Even the bed is comfortable!

Rooms: Stylish and comfortable. Small but they have added nice additions to help with that. For example a comfortable chair with ottoman and a moveable attached side table. I was able to sit convertible while using my laptop. The large sliding door that doubles at a closer door and a bar room door was a nice addition as well. Not to mention the luxury shower!?”

“Makeready L&L was so much fun! Alice and wonderland theme restaurant with insane food. The tortellini is the best pasta I've ever had. My husband had the branzino and it was spicy and delicious. And the twice baked potatoes tasted like the stuffed mashed potatoes into a crispy shell. Kailey was our server and has excellent recommendations and attentive service. Cannot recommend her or this spot enough!”

“Recently stayed here for 5 nights and was very impressed! The whole hotel has been renovated. We stayed on the top floor and had a very nice, clean and perfectly quiet room (even with the train going by, which by the way, did not blow its whistle once).
The whole floor was perfectly quiet, not one issue. The beds were very comfy. The housekeeping was excellent! The staff did an amazing job - we had no issues - they were very thorough.
Location was great for us with a brand new Tanger Outlets right near by with lots of great shopping, restaurants and a beautiful outdoor sitting area and play area.
The only two negatives I would say is that the pool area was very basic with no bathrooms in the pool area (they are down the hall) and the breakfast was so-so -- lots to choose from but the hot items are a lower-end quality (powdered/frozen eggs, etc) and the one gentleman who was on breakfast duty the one morning was very unmotivated and not pleasant or helpful.
Other than that, I would recommend staying here.”

“We went here during the weekend for our church event for Lads to Leaders. It was very nice, but this place is like a maze if you haven’t been here. Rooms are very nice, especially if you get a room with a nice view. The service is very good especially security, my daughter scrapped her knee and reopened her wound and security was very voice and detailed about the situation. They even followed up with a phone call to make sure my daughter was ok. The food there looks and smells amazing, we had pizza for lunch one day. I only gave it a four star because it is very expensive here. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.”

“Don't let the pictures on the website fool you, this place is even better in person! We had a group of 11 guys and had plenty of room. I would go back to Nashville just to stay here. Plenty of common area space to hang out, but everyone had their own bed and some even had their own meticulously decorated room.

The location was perfect. In addition that its two blocks from Broadway, there was a liquor store and a pizza shop downstairs and a bakery and juice bar located across the street.

Don't bother looking at anything else. If the Maddox has your dates available, book it. You'll look like a hero to the group.”

“Stayed here to see 21 Pilots at the Bridgestone Arena. Great location. Rooms are clean, and the continental breakfast was plentiful and fresh. THE place to stay when visiting downtown Nashville, TN.

Rooms: Great rooms. Clean and comfortable.

Walkability: It's a great central location for getting to all of the cool stuff in downtown Nashville.”

“We booked a handicap room d/t husband's recent back surgery (came straight from the hospital). I was surprised that the room was a good walk from the entrance (middle of the hallway on the 2nd floor). The hotel supplied shower bench, which was super nice to have. The bathroom was big enough to use a walker in. Toilet was raised. There were grab bars in the shower.

The room was very clean. The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“The renovation of this train station built in 1900 is incredible. Service is top notch. The restaurant is good but not incredible or with a view. There's no pool. The suite style rooms are modern but on the small side but very nice. Not a fan of sliding door bathrooms. You can walk to Broadway bars. 4-stars + 1 bonus star for basically staying in a historic architectural marvel.”

“We loved the service at Hotel Indigo! True Southern hospitality. Alfred at the front desk in particular provided outstanding customer service. The live music, food and cocktails were all fantastic. We’d return in a heartbeat.”

“The room was great and very spacious. It is directly across the street from the event center so the location was perfect. There is a drop-off area kind of under the building which makes loading and unloading super easy. Overall a great stay and experience.Walkability: Very central to downtown so just about everything is within walking distanceFood & drinks: Coffee bar in the main lobby is very average but the breakfast buffet on the 4th floor is fabulous. Lots of choices and fresh waffles.Noteworthy details: The rooftop bar and pool are super cool. Definitely worth a trip to the 30th floor to check those out.”

“We hosted an event at Loews Nashville and had a great experience overall! The service was wonderful all around. The hotel team was incredibly hospitable. The bellmen who work in the lobby are exceptional. The event services and banquets team were very friendly and on top of things. The front desk team was lovely. The meeting space is very nice and looks freshly renovated. The gym is state of the art. The restaurant and bar are really nice and served great southern food and beverage options. My only critic is that the sleeping rooms and hallways were dated and worn. The sleeping room floors (including club levels) could use a refresh and renovation.”

“Hotel Review: The Fairlane, Nashville, TN

Our recent stay at The Fairlane in Nashville from September 29 to October 2 for the GMA Dove Awards and Fan Experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we made our reservations, the process was seamless and straightforward. We appreciated the block of rooms reserved specifically for the event, which made coordinating our stay with friends and fellow attendees effortless.

Aubree Franz, who assisted us throughout our stay, deserves special recognition for her outstanding customer service. She was not only friendly and welcoming but also attentive to our needs, ensuring that every aspect of our visit was pleasant. Upon our arrival, the check-in process was smooth and efficient with the evening and late check in Staff, setting a positive tone for the rest of our stay.

The Fairlane's location is another highlight. Nestled conveniently close to downtown, we found it incredibly easy to explore all that Nashville has to offer. Whether it was a night out on Broadway or attending events, everything was just a short walk or quick ride away. We particularly enjoyed dining at Sixty Vines, a restaurant highly recommended by the staff at The Fairlane. (Please be sure to ask for Tyler at Sixty Vines and tell him the Chapmans from St. Petersburg said hello! He was a new Server and doing and outstanding job! Note: He loves hugs!) The vibrant atmosphere and delicious food made for a memorable afternoon of enjoyment.

Overall, our experience at The Fairlane was delightful, and we can confidently say that we would choose to stay there again on our next visit to Nashville. The combination of excellent customer service, a prime location, and comfortable accommodations truly made our trip special. Highly recommend!

“We were passing through for 2 days and stumbled across a good deal at the Hampton Inn. It was clean, safe and free breakfast was a plus! Parking was not ideal. Paying extra $40 for parking was wild to me especially since there is apparently “no free street parking”. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The rooftop pool and gym were nice and clean.”

“It was a great looking hotel, and the rooms were luxurious, comfortable, and clean. Beware of the massive mini bar, though. A huge selection with prices to match. About a 5 - to 10-minute walk to Broadway and the hotel is right on Printers Alley. The only gripe I had is that the hotel billed the room to my credit card used at check-in, despite the room having already been paid. It was quickly resolved, but I didn't like the fact that the hotel refused to give me a receipt at check out showing a zero balance, despite having a pending charge of $1200 on my credit card that took about 10 days to clear.

Walkability: Close to Broadway and right on Printers Alley”

“We picked Holston House due to it's proximity to the nightlife Nashville has to offer. Upon arrival, the Valet guys were EXTREMELY helpful. I cannot say enough about them.Check-In was easy and they accommodated us with early check in for a $50 fee. The lobby was decorated amazing and it smelled SO good. The room was okay, not worth the price in my opinion, HOWEVER, the hotel being walking distance to Broadway was the biggest seller here. Bed was comfortable, could definitely use new pillows. The breakfast spot was delish, over all hotel/restaurant service was great, Rooftop, although closed, was STUNNING. We will make sure to visit during the warmer months to utilize this amenity. Would definitely stay here again given the chance!Nearby activities: Steps from Broadway, all within walking distance.”

“Stayed 3 nights and I have to say one of the better hotel rooms I've stayed in. Bed was really comfortable, shower was nice (some leaking around the glass door and it wouldn't shut completely), air conditioner worked great, clean and was quiet. Nice pool and exercise room. Staff was very helpful. There is a restaurant and bar onsite but didn't take advantage of it. Also a breakfast buffet for $20 a person. I see this hotel is popular for airport staff and conventions being so close to the airport. Would stay here again if in the Nashville area.”

“This by far is the best hotel I have stayed in, in a long long time. Everything was clean and tidy. They folded the towels fancy and had bows on the toilet paper. I never expected to see something like that. The continental breakfast was A+ and offered a lot of variety and choices. It definitely was the best continental breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for the Opry House. Highly recommend!!”

“Rooms were clean and well appointed. No windows in the two rooms we stayed in, so zero natural light. The rooms didn't feel excessively dark though due to the paint and decent lighting. Location is perfect for those wanting to explore Broadway, a 5 minute walk.”
