We picked Holston House due to it's proximity to the nightlife Nashville has to offer. Upon arrival, the Valet guys were EXTREMELY helpful. I cannot say enough about them.Check-In was easy and they accommodated us with early check in for a $50 fee. The lobby was decorated amazing and it smelled SO good. The room was okay, not worth the price in my opinion, HOWEVER, the hotel being walking distance to Broadway was the biggest seller here. Bed was comfortable, could definitely use new pillows. The breakfast spot was delish, over all hotel/restaurant service was great, Rooftop, although closed, was STUNNING. We will make sure to visit during the warmer months to utilize this amenity. Would definitely stay here again given the chance!Nearby activities: Steps from Broadway, all within walking distance.

The hotel is truly amazing but I must say it is overpriced. For this price you would be expecting a luxury hotel, which is really not. But it is very very nice!Little things like asking for water or towels, I had to ask multiple times.I wasn’t able to contact them before I arrive as they kept asking me to call and I was out of the country and couldn’t call in….The pool was closed for the season which is random, I wasn’t told that before! And lastly, they charge half a day of your stay (way over $100) for late check out (which is an extra 3 hours). Never in my life have I heard of a place charging you this much for a late check out.Rooms: I love how the bathroom and toilet areas are separated. And the shower is amazing!

Aggravating to deal with... booked my room with them months ago, asked to cancel my room due to scheduling issues 3 weeks before single night stay. Was told by multiple people there would be no refund issued, so I'm paying for a room I won't be staying in. Outrageous...

Rooms were kept clean and stocked. Had a little trouble talking to the cleaning, because those that I spoke to had to use a translation app, because spoke NO English. The Manager and desk clerks did speak English. The hotel itself is conveniently located within walking distance near every major attraction in downtown Nashville.

If you want a unique experience at a nice hotel. Book a room here! Being a previous hotel manager, I was very impressed with all their staff across all departments. Valet, front office, F&B and housekeeping were all really nice to interact with. Their service was top notch, rooms were clean, I had a great view on the 11th floor. My company was here for a conference and they were great hosts! Solid fitness center, rooftop pool & great location within walking distance to the main strip downtown.

Hidden fees for no purpose. Should be illegal. Would not stay here again.

Booked a room here last minute for a Drake and J. Cole concert and my experience was amazing. I was able to check into my room early right upon arrival. The valet servicemen were extremely nice and price for parking overnight was great! The room I received was great. The hotel itself is such a vibe! I was able to walk to everything it’s a great location downtown. I’ve never heard of this place before and it was my first time staying and I def will be booking with them again my next trip!

This review is a shame to have to write, because the hotel could have gotten four stars. But the front desk staff is so poor that they destroy the experience for the guest. I tried to check in 90 minutes before check in time and was told my room was ready but I couldn’t check in unless I paid an extra hundred dollars. Travelers get off flights and are tired, they just want to get up to their room. There was no reason to prevent me from checking in as I knew that the room was ready. This was a complete money grab. There are some really nice hotels in the area that have much better service. I strongly suggest choosing one of those instead.

Stayed for a week, great location, easy walking to Broadway, printers ally, Bridgestone arena and convention centre. Easy enough to get an Uber to the Opry, circa $20 20-30 mins.Staff all welcoming and friendly. Especially the guys at the doors, took great and speedy care of our luggage.House keeping though was sadly lacking some days, but enough towels, only giving tea or decaf coffee, small details but important ones really.

We had booked a suite for engagement pictures and talked to the staff about taking pictures on the property. When we spoke to the GM on the phone he seemed to have no problem with us paying a fee to take pictures on the rooftop. He then had us talk to whoever responds to messages on instagram. That person gave us the run around for 3 days and then said they couldn’t accommodate.I would not recommended using this hotel for any reason.

Currently staying here 5 nights into a 7 night stay… Location is perfect for downtown/broadway. If you want a Walgreens/shop it’s about a 10 minute walk.Everything other than the Grand Ole Opry & Parthenon are within walking distance. If you are going to an event at Bridgestone Arena this is the perfect hotel - 2/3 minute walk if that.Downsides - room cleaning isn’t the best seems adhovc some days we got our coffee refilled. Other days we haven’t had it at all & room cleaned before 3pm (we’d leave at about 9am) some days we’d get back and still not had room service. We have a “King Deluxe” room and honestly other than having the toilet & shower separate cannot see what makes this room deluxe. We are a married couple (2 people) & have only been given 1 bathrobe again we’ve been here for 5 nights. No slippers or any other additional amenities given to standard rooms if anything as you are at the end of the corridor it seems less (as above what they seem to have left in the maid cart when cleaning the room. Which means sometimes only 3 sugars). Housekeeping have also thrown away reusable cups we’ve purchased whilst being in Nashville. (They have been clearly visible as reusable) But left single use water/soft drink bottles.Late night staff at the reception are nice the rest of the time it seems that customers are an annoyance to them.Safety: As we checked in we got told “don”t worry you are safe here”.You must swipe your room keycard for hotel entrance after 10pm & lifts need a keycard for going up & downWalkability: It’s waking distance of the stadium & downtown/broadway.

Valet service damaged vehicle. After returning home I noticed damage to the front of my vehicle. Tried contacting the manager, he will not return my call. I'm gonna be out $400 dollars to get my truck fixed.I would also like to add, I gave the valet $50 and asked him to please make sure my truck didn't get dinged up.Noteworthy details: Don't use the valet service. They damaged my truck.

Prime location in Nashville with an incredible rooftop pool with bar. The breakfast in the restaurant was extremely good. Rooms were great and luxurious. Will return and a plus being a Hyatt property.
