The manager of this location took my business and added charges I DID NOT ask for. Then she told me if i dispute this I’ll never be able to rent from them again, it was my first rental from this company. I should have keep my business with Enterprise.

Hertz is normally a go to company for economy prices for my leisure trips. The location in Antioch has for years given the most affordable prices in my area. One major problem with this location is the lack of organization with stock and inability to tell customers ahead of time that they will be unable to fulfill reservation. I booked a rental a month in advance at this location because the price was $40 cheaper than in Murfreesboro and only a 20 min drive. The employees at this location did not inform me that a rental would not be available for Saturday 23 March at 1100 am, meaning that I had to scramble to find a rental. I used Hertz at the BNA airport which cost $110 more but was my only option after waiting in a long line at this location only to be informed they could not fulfill my time sensitive reservation. When this situation occurs, true customer service would reimburse the extra cost at another location.The situation created by the communication failure of this location was a huge inconvenience for my family concerning our trip, if they had done their job and informed me I would not be able to get a rental there sooner my options would not have been so limited or costly.Concerning the company as a whole, it is a big customer service issue that so many people can get a "reservation" online, regardless of the stock at the location.

I picked up the vehicle with under half a tank. I put $60 in immediately before delivering the vehicle which brought it to 3/4 tank. There was no staff so the person who was at the front desk (clocking in ostensibly) told me to just leave the keys there. No checkin, no receipt, no anything. There were probably 4 people in the lobby just waiting for cars to be picked up. Who knows how long they'd been waiting, but I'm sure it had been a while. I didn't get my receipt from anyone on-site and it tookmore than 24 hours after I turned the car in for the email to arrive. Which, of course meant that the office was no longer open. On the receipt the mileage said I drove 2000 miles. I drove from Baton Rouge to Nashville. Not exactly 2k miles. This office charged me $60 for only returning it with 20% full. While this second part is not the fault of the antioch office, it is an issue with Hertz overall. One of the seats in the van that I picked up in Baton Rouge didn't fold down at all. And finally, as if all of that wasn't enough, the front right tire of the van was leaking air the entire trip from Baton Rouge to Nashville.I will never rent from Hertz again.

This company is not willing to upgrade you if what they advertise is not available and their customer service suck. I HIGHLY recommend you look into another company.

The manager at this place is incredible,she does everything to make sure you get your vehicle out on time.i rented an electric vehicle last weekend on my way to Lexington Kentucky it was my first time using an electric vehicle,and my experience with it was terrible I even slept in the vehicle because I couldn't get it charged enough to take me to my destination,because the battery was faulty so it took a longer time to charged.Fast forward the car broke down and was tow to blue grass airport in Lexington Kentucky where I got another car,but when I got back to Antioch to deliver the car the manager intervened and I was able to get the money back that they took from my card.I can recommend this place to anyone because of the manager,she's one of the best i have met in a long time.

I had one of the best experience that I have had at any Hertz rental car location, and I have been to 16 of them across America. It was probably the fastest that I had ever picked up a car, and the gas was short and it was actually taken care of...usually, I have to call customer service! The staff were super respectful and friendly to me ?. I had to pay a convenience fees for tolls that my GPS apparently took me down accidentally. That part of the experience sucked somewhat. But, my Hyundai Elantra was not stolen after leaving it parked there for a week, the day after channel 4 reported that thieves can steal them without a key, all they gotta do is watch TikTok to see how! What the hell Channel 4??♂️? , thank you, Jesus, for keeping my car safe?

We needed to rent a car while one of ours was in the shop. Rather new to the area we were a little leery after reading reviews online to use Hertz but I have to say so glad we decided to move forward with them! Malik helped us out and was wonderful. Did exactly what he said he was going to do when he said he would do it. Great experience!

The location is absolutely filthy. The workers dress like they are on the beach. They vape at the desk and are on their cell phones the entire time, Customers are invisible. They do not explain anything and answer questions rudely, I have rented from Hertz around the country many times. I’ve never seen a group so unprofessional nor a store so unhygienic and filthy, Corporate please send a secret shopper to see for yourself.

I’ve used this location multiple times over the past 5 months. If they weren’t so short staffed they would get 4 stars. The young lady that works behind the counter is amazing - she does it all from checking customers in to checking on the cars to pulling the car around to taking photos . If I still owned a business I would recruit her in a heart beat. Her work ethic and pleasant customer service (even when customers are so nice) is superb.Unfortunately they are always short staffed so the carpet in front of the door is always dirty, it takes 20-30 mins to get your car if it’s not ready and on and on .. shame on Hertz for continuing to under staff this location setting their employees up for angry customers…which I have experienced multiple times. Keep up the great work staff - Hertz YOU NEED to step up and help this location.

Zero stars! One of the most unbelievably pathetic experiences I've ever had. Arrived on the dot for 7:30am pickup, was told to wait outside for her to bring the car around, waited until 8:50am (over an hour) for her to bring the car. We went inside to make sure we hadn't been forgotten since the customer behind us got their car first, and no one was there. We went around back at saw our car being cleaned at 8:30am. When we got the car, it reeked of marijuana for the entire trip. At drop-off, at least 7 miserable looking customers were waiting for assistance in the front. I was told I'd be charged $19/day for young renter's fee (as the Hertz website says) and was charged $30/day. She told me she sent an email for a refund. After never receiving one, I called Hertz "cares" (they don't,) who said they would issue a refund in 7-10 days. Never got it, called a second time, said they'd issue a refund in 5-7 days. Called AGAIN today, they said my refund was "denied" because the rates vary by state, even though Hertz does not advertise that at all. Never renting from Hertz again!

They are short staffed however I made a reservation yesterday at 5pm for 8:30 am the following day. When I get in they say that there are no cars but they can give me a box truck. The. They said no box truck because those are going to Amazon. Then they said they have a car available in Clarksville which is a little over an hour away.Granted, I understand the cars that were to be returned the morning of weren’t but you can’t expect me to get a ride or an Uber an hour away after I had a confirmed reservation and then got a ride to the facility.The woman working the desk did her best and this is not anything against her it’s the way that Hertz didn’t have the resources or solutions available when they’re accepting reservations still.

Worst Hertz ever! One person works, they can’t do anything to fix their mistakes and then they have the most ancient cars ever. Well when they actually do have any cars.

Disorganized. We reserved a car but upon arrival were informed they had rented to someone else.Hertz is generally decent, but this location’s worker quality is low and understaffed. Waited over an hour to get the car, and to drop it off.
