UPDATE: Not sure what is going on with this company. Although I love my car still and Kelsey was great as a sales person we have had difficulty with service after the sale. We let Kelsey know the next morning that we did not want the GAP insurance after checking with our auto insurance company that it was not needed. We paid $995 for it. James emailed me that day trying to talk us out of cancelling. We let him know that we still did want to cancel. 6 months later and several emails back and forth, sending in at least three different cancellations we still don't have the refund. At last email thread we were notified we would be only getting $835 back, when I inquired about it NO ONE has since responded at all! This has been 3 weeks ago and several emails and they completely stopped responding to me. Very disappointed.
We purchased a beautiful 2020 Passat this weekend. Kelsey McGowan was our sales person . She did a great job showing us the car and helping us with the deal . She was friendly and not pushy at all . We had been texting with her about several cars over the last month and she was very patient with us until we finally found the car we liked. This is the third Passat we have bought from this dealership since 2010 - needless to say we love VW and trust this dealership ! James McCollum was our previous sales person - we were happy to work with him again as he is the Finance Manager now. Highly recommend ! UPDATE: When we bought the car it was in the process of certification and a few minor parts needed to be ordered. Once they came in we took the car to their service department. Kelsey was very good at staying in touch and making sure we got the car in. Everyone went above and beyond and was very professional. They even replaced all 4 tires because they had some wear on them when we bought the car - we didn't even ask for them. Highly recommend again - even the service department!

The service department is deplorable. Jacob and Dustin have to be some of the rudest service techs I have ever dealt with. I love cars and I have several in my collection. But because of their service department, I will never buy a car from this dealership. Avoid this place at all cost.

The care and consideration I was given from Harold Jones was phenomenal. I told him I was looking to help get my son his first car and he did everything he could to get to the right price. It was such a smooth process. When I am ready to get another vehicle I will definitely go back!!!

I have had the worst experience with North Nashville location, starting with when I bought the car, to getting it serviced. The customer service is absolutely awful. When I bought it, we were promised a price but when I went to sign the paperwork fees that were not discussed were slipped in. Total scammers. After getting the car I called with a couple of questions because they had my paperwork wrong and nobody would call me back. We had to call Volkswagen headquarters to get help after months of no calls back.
Also, I went in with an issue for my car, they ordered a part, I came back a week later. Woke up early, drove half an hour to get there, sat there for half an hour and as I was walking out to get picked up they tell me they ordered the wrong part and I’ll have to come back. Okay, fine. So they order the part and I go back in for the part to be installed for the second time and after taking a day off and scheduling an appointment with them they don’t have the part AGAIN. Why would they allow me to schedule an appointment and come in AGAIN when they don’t have the part AGAIN! I should have been notified if they didn’t have the part or if they sent the part back. Other than that, the people who work in the service department are so unfriendly. At least who I dealt with. I feel so uncomfortable asking him questions or even speaking with him. I will never be going back there again! STAY CLEAR of this dealership!

I don’t like to give bad reviews but this dealership deserves it. I had an open recall on my 2009 Rabbit so I decided to come here to get it done. The recall was for my ABS module to be reflashed and get new programming, they had my car for about 4 hours and handed the keys back to me with my car having the same problems. I am a student at Lincoln Tech, my classmates and I hooked up our Autel scanner to my car and found out that my ABS module had absolutely no programming on it and was basically in “fresh out of the factory” mode. We proceeded to fix it ourselves and now my car is perfectly fine, it took a max of 45 minutes. The VW dealership didn’t bother to tell me what was wrong with it, what they think it could be, or even hook up their MUCH NICER scanner to be able to see the extremely simple problem and fix it. I tried asking them what they thought they problem was and they said I would just have to schedule a diagnostic test appointment so they could take my money and they were very condescending while explaining to me that “sometimes a recall doesn’t fix your problem.” I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYBODY.

We have now bought our 3rd vehicle from VW North Nashville. Harold and Marcus were awesome. They made the transaction simple and fast. They worked to understand our needs and our pricepoint and MADE THE DEAL HAPPEN! Customer service at dealerships is NOT created equal, these guys stand above the rest. Get with Marcus and Harold when you are ready to buy..they will make it happen for you!

Bought a brand new car from Volkswagen and the car was dirty, inside dusty bird feces on the hood and the only thing they did was take the sticker off. I asked for a clean up and I was told can’t have one.

I had a great experience! My car salesman Blake was great! I explained what I was looking for and my timeline and he was respectful of that. I told him my price range and he was flexible in allowing me to test drive different trims and even searched the parking lot in the beaming sun to give me perspective about another vehicle.
He was very knowledgeable about the cars that I test drove and showed me all of the specs. He has a very friendly personality and I really enjoyed working with him!
I walked away with the car that I love and I felt good about my purchase.
The manager Marcus was great too, and honestly all of the other salesman were friendly and funny as well.
I would highly recommend Volkswagen of North Nashville to those looking for a great experience, knowledgeable, salesman, and reliable vehicles.

People are nice, but the customer service is seriously lacking.
Bought a used car with 50K miles on it. Drove it to Indiana that week and it broke down. Rented an auto transport to get it back to this shop thinking they would help out since I just bought it. NOPE.
I’ve contacted them. They said they’re sorry, but did nothing to help. Their shop costs are at least double other shops. I should have bought a Honda.

The reason I’m
Giving 1 star which should be considered as 0 was because there was mislead information provided due to a promising oil change that was given. We had the opportunity to get a voucher due to a referral / my sister also purchased a vehicle fast forward the voucher we received was for $100.00 okay great thank you! My boyfriend wanted to get an oil change with the voucher and spoke with the service advisor over the phone and told him that due to the vehicle not being a Volkswagen they wouldn’t honor it. My boyfriend then stated well we have a voucher and informed him it would be $70.00 however again that was not the case, he told us the it would be $183.20 but again this was not told to us over the phone other wise we wouldn’t of came! I don’t like being mislead and lied to and you also have missed out on me referral other people as I thought you guys were a great company / the service advisor just acted like he really didn’t care about anything honestly and a attitude as well. I never once got ugly but I can’t trust your company no longer.
