I am aggravated beyond measure with this bank. (Not any particular branch) I am giving 5 stars only because Tammy went above and beyond to help me straighten out the issue I have with their fraud department. She deserves a big shout out and a raise!!

The security guards here are predatory stalkers. They will follow you around the building if you “look out of place” and verbally harass you with threats and rude comments until you leave the property.

By far the worst banking experience I've ever had. Went in to open a simple CD savings account which should have taken about 10 minutes - it took approximately 15 minutes for the bankers to log-in to their account and then I waited over 40 minutes for them to try to print out a document for me to sign (which they were never able to and suggested I re-schedule another appointment for a different date so they didn't "take up more of my time"). Meanwhile, there was a very erratic man in the lobby screaming about getting his *&^&ing money and saying he was going to bash someone's head until their brain matter spills out that was not removed from the premises. Will not being opening any additional accounts and strongly considering moving my current account to another bank to say the least. The only positive thing I have to say is that the bankers seemed like nice people personally.

It would be funny how incompetent the staff of 5/3 are if their incompetence did not cause me continuous banking woes. Right off the top of my head here are the most recent ways 5/3 has let me down-1. Failed to catch an obvious case of fraud in a town I had never visited, in a state I did not live in. 2. Took nearly an hour to freeze my stolen card.3. Fraud department? if your money gets stolen, 5/3 will not help, you're on your own to recover cash from fraudulent transactions. 4. Sent my card to the WRONG ADDRESS after literally CONFIRMING my permanent address moments earlier. Seriously, this place is a joke. I'm pretty sure I'd have fewer problems if I posted my debit card # on insta and kept all my cash under my mattress.

What an absolute terrible experience today at 5/3 bank! Henry treated my wife and I like actual trash when trying to figure out why our card was taken by the ATM. Felt like a Burden trying to get my card back. What a terrible experience.

I went in on Saturday to open a checking account. I was told that she couldn't help me because I needed to make an appointment and they were fully booked for the day. I was the ONLY customer in the bank and no one in the drive through. She stated if I needed to do this today to go to a different branch. She said it takes 20 minutes and right now she was booked and couldn't help me. I waited outside for about 10 minutes and no other customer came inside. I understand appointments but if I'm the only customer in the bank I'm sure you can take a walk in . I was trying to give you my business 5/3 you failed a future customer.

Reluctantly, I have become convinced that Fifth Third Bank is operating a scam. I have a small account there which I have been trying to close for months. First, they claimed I sent the account closure form to the wrong branch even though a Fifth Third representative told me to send it to that office on the phone. They claimed my second form to my own branch was "never received." A third account closure form was mailed at the end of September, again to the correct branch. It is now December and I have received NO RESPONSE. I am trying to call them and their terrible phone system hung up on me twice because they are "busy helping other customers." They don't even offer a callback option, they tell you to keep trying to call them. Given they have displayed so many disparate ways of dodging my request to close the account, including being literally unavailable, I've slowly become convinced this bank is operating a scam. I realize that banks want to hold onto deposits these days. Their net interest margins are rising significantly on deposits because of higher interest rates. That does not justify dodging customer requests to close an account. Give me my money back! Not even going to say please this time. If this isn't resolved within a week I am writing a regulator I know at the OCC and I will also find someone at the Fed. I'm sure your regulators would be interested to know the lengths you are going to in order to deny service to customers.

Absolutley the worst bank. Spent the past 5 years with them without a single good experience. Most recently had 2 seperate fraud charges on my account, called and disputed them after a nightmare weekend as they dont have 24/7 customer service and are closed weekends. Was told the account was blocked and charges disputed but i woke up again today to a 1700$ charge. Called customer service again to figure out how this happened and turns out they didnt block the account at all...then proceeded to transfer me to 5 different departments back and forth. Im currently one hour and 3 minutes into a phone call where i simply wanted to dispute charges and freeze all accounts and have gotten nowhere. WORST BANK EVER

On a regular basis, this is the slowest drive thru banking (West Nashville/Charlotte Pk) Ive ever experienced. I come weekly to make one simple deposit. Even when there is no one else in line. They take 5-10 min to get to me. I see one staff typically working.

We've banked with 5/3 for 11 years and put up with terrible customer service for way to long. After recent problems at the Nashville downtown branch we are finally looking for somewhere else to take our business. This location is in between managers. I've requested to speak with an area/regional manager several times and haven't heard from anyone.

This branch has the worst customer service in the world. I was waiting almost 30 minutes to speak with someone about my account to the point where I ended up walking out because nobody offered to help and I had somewhere else to be. I will not be going back to this branch.
