Family Leisure set my pool up today. They cleaned up their mess and took my old pool off. They did an excellent job.

The sales person told me I could put an $800 deposit down on a sale item to get the sale price, but cancel at any time and get the deposit back. I called the store and receptionist told me that I needed to speak directly with the sales person to get my deposit back. I spoke with the sales guy (who was nice) and he said my refund would hit my account by June 14.
It never did.
So I called the store again and the receptionist said the she never got the paperwork to cancel and she would cancel it for me and send the refund in up to 10 days.
Maybe this was an honest mistake. That is why I am giving a 3 star rating, but maybe they do thus type of thing often and hope people don't notice or notice but think it might be an honest mistake and not leave a review.
I decided to leave a review. If this happens or happened to you, you might want to comment about it.

We had a noise issue with our pump that was just an installed last August. The guy I spoke to (can’t remember his name) was super helpful in trying to help me troubleshoot. After that didn’t solve it, he quickly got me on the schedule for 2 days later! The repair guy, Tracy, determined that it was the filter and went ahead, changed it out and kept me informed the whole time he was there. He was Very helpful and informative.
I had further communications with another person at Family Leisure that same day and he was also super friendly and kept me updated on one more thing that needs to be completed this week. Thank you guys so much for making this effortless on my part and being NICE too!! That definitely goes a long way in my book.

First time getting a pool with them was great been going back every year for chemicals, felt we needed a new liner this year so decided to have filter sand changed while they were there ,had to go to work while they were there , mistake , they were very nice however once my water got filled I had leaks on my skimmer and the top of my sand filter was leaking and blowing a lot of sand into my pool, I called they came back a couple times they had told me to backwash get all the sand out of the pool that had blowed in when I got in the pool to do this I realized the bottom of the pool has big lumps and dips and the liner wrinkled up in spots they told me they would check it out when they came to fix skimmer and filter they came back got the skimmer fixed got the leak on the top of the sand filter fixed , The bottom of the pool they said they would write in the notes but there are no sharp objects so probably won’t do anything about it being so rough even though the tech agrees it’s bad . Sand is still blowing in they’re coming back Monday so we’ll see. Liner install was April 29th Monday will be 3 weeks I’ve been trying to get this straight. If first time had been this way I would’ve never used them again .So David the service mgr called said they would get this taken care of I was not alone but hmmm
it’s now June 5th and they did send someone out on 5-20 but I have not heard back from David the service manager at all have left 3 messages and he will not return my calls

We have been long time customers for this store and Gloria has always been our go to person for issues concerns with our pool. But Lily was so helpful and knowledgeable and seems to be gaining all of Gloria’s knowledge from her years of experience.

Last year we almost pulled the trigger on an in-ground pool from another company. It would have ran us about $90k when it was all said and done. I had a last minute change of heart & took a step back from the project. March of this year I decided to take a trip to Family Leisure to check out the above ground pools and to see what they could offer at a more affordable price, but not skimping on quality and looks. Most above ground pools to me, can look cheap. I was impressed with their showroom and the sales rep we met with. He was very thorough. After some deliberation, we decided on a 24' round (Mirage) pool.
On install day, the excavator was on time. Dug out 24" so that we could have a semi-inground pool. As soon as he was done smoothing and leveling everything , F.L. crew came and began the set up. From start to finish they answered all of my questions and were very helpful. Once the pool was filled, we had some hoses that were leaking, our skimmer basket was leaking as well. We called and FL sent someone out almost immediately. I knew to expect that we could have some leaks because they can't test us until water is in it! Absolutely no big deal and they fixed it all with a smile on their faces.
We just got into the pool yesterday and it was amazing! It has surpassed every expectation I could have imagined. I'm a full transparency kind of person and want to be treated the same. I feel FL is just that. There are so many good videos online to help you through. If you call them , they are more than helpful with all the answers. The chemicals (permasalt system) is so easy. Understanding how to use the pump & filter is super easy too. Mike (the owner) does great videos. The pool, electric, other little things such as sand, drainage pipe ran me about $9000. We are building a deck soon so by the end of it all I'll be under $22,000. I can't believe I almost got a pool for $90k last year!! This by far is the way to go! You won't be disappointed in the quality, functionality , customer service, etc.. if you shop at Family Leisure. We are customers for life! Thanks so much for giving my kids and I our dream oasis!

Outstanding customer service. We were in a desperate situation due to our own miscalculations. They went above and beyond on a holiday weekend to help us. This will forever be our place for pool and spas supplies.Todd and Kevin were awesome to work with! The Lampley and Mixer Families love y’all!

The pool buying and installation process was great and very easy. But the installers did not take the time to get the wrinkles out of the bottom of the pool. I did not notice until the pool was completely filled, and dirt started to gather in the wrinkles. Called and emailed the service department and was told that they would have a tech come out and look. I asked if I needed to drain the pool and was told no, we'll of course the tech arrives and says the pool needs to be drained and that he will have his boss contact me about draining it, possible reimbursement for my water bill. Well, it has been two weeks...no calls...no emails... I have sent them messages with no response. So, I am not too thrilled with the back-end customer support so far.
UPDATE: I did hear back from them and they have agreed to fix my pool later in the season.

I needed a new skimmer and figured while they were out I’d get the sand swapped even though the filter was working fine. I just got a call and the skimmer is replaced (awesome) but apparently a pipe inside is broken even though it was working fine. I was told I’d need pool and spa depot to come fix it. I asked if they could just put it back together since it was working fine before. They left hours ago and I would have a 250 service charge for them to go back and put it back together like they found it. They did say they would return the original service charge. So I went from needing a new skimmer to now needing my filter fixed….
They said they’d refund my money but a week later they still haven’t…

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Would NOT recommend this establishment go to Pools and Spa Depot. Over $16,000 spent for pool and hot tub.
In the beginning, the installation process was a nightmare. I sent pictures before my installation, and they stated on the phone I was good to go. On installation day, the guy said I need the electrical moved to the front or buried. I get the electrical moved and get the installation rescheduled.
After three long months of getting all the necessary things, I have the pool “throw up” by some Mexicans who don’t speak English and don’t show me anything before leaving. After filling the pool, I noticed several wrinkles in the liner of the pool, so I requested that someone fix it that week. They scheduled me a maintenance window between 10AM and noon, but the tech still did not arrive…even though I had confirmation. I called to request a manager call me and have yet to receive a call.

From Jason in sales to Nate with service, this place has helped us through it all. Nate was willing to make sure we had everything going correctly after he serviced our pool, and even gave us his number so we can contact him if we need help while the pool cleans up and gets changed to a salt water system. Wouldn’t go anywhere else after working with them.
