This place is always closed during operating hours. Whether it's staffing or community issues. Just close for good already. I can't stop by before or after work anymore.

So this Family Dollar location has definitely improved a lot over the past cpl of yrs. I am not ready to leave a 5 star review but I did go from a 3 to a 4 Star giving the changes that have been made and the fact that there is effort being made for further improvements. I am not going to say that the management has improved considering it's the same guy but the staff that's there actually doing the work shows that they do care about their jobs and take pride in what they do and to me that goes a long way. There are a few really good people that work there I just hope they stay since this place doesn't keep employees long every cpl of days it's a new face but honestly I can't blame them. Although at the moment they do have plywood on the doors due to the locals who would rather rob and steal as opposed to getting a job. Keep up the good work !!!

Very poor management i came before closing time and they refused to let me in. In the morning I will be reporting them to corporate, if it say y’all close at 10 that’s when y’all shall lock the door. Bad service will not be returning!

This place is more unpredictable than Tennessee weather!! You can't never depend on if this site is open or closed. I have stopped by more times than I can remember at when you would expect a consumer place of business to be open with a line of people waiting to check out and the doors would be locked with note on the door saying closed early today for whatever reason and trust me there has been allot of reasons that they deemed necessary for them to be closed. And the so called manager he only works there so he doesn't have to worry with doing any type of manual labor which it's easy to tell he has never had to work hard a day in his life. Also the prices seem to be somewhat higher there than most places but on the positive side with their unpredictably you seldom have to be concerned with what you are looking for to be out of stock but you should definitely pay attention to the expiration date. So if you are short on time and need to stop and go quickly I'd personally suggest going somewhere else instead of gambling on being able to shop at that particular Family Dollar.

The sales associate was rude and not helpful/ unknowledgeable of how to use clipped coupons on their app. She kept rushing me and repeated it won't go. (Referencing the coupons) then stated she had alot of ppl waiting for her in the line. There was one customer behind me who was very polite, I said she can go and she stated she was fine waiting and asked was I okay due to the rudeness of the worker. She checked out the customer behind me and I tried the app coupons again. She then repeated the barcode was a mirror and couldn't be scanned and then said she was going to get the manager. I replied great. While she was away. I figured out I have to scan the products myself to ensure they qualify for the coupons and with my phone number put in, my coupons are then applied. When the manager arrived he stated the coupons were in and tried to show me. With the sales associate saying,"yea yea they're already in" I told him. I figured it out and I see it now. She was quoting me a much larger total. Her rudeness was very frustrating and workers should know how to guide customers on how to use the digital clipped coupons.

I don't normally do this, but with it happening multiple times.. I tried to go into the store tonight, and they were completely closed. All lights off, no employees in the store... and it was only 7:30pm, when they aren't supposed to close until 10:00pm.
