Looked like they took their foot and pushed my $1300 vanity out of the truck onto the driveway! Box was torn to pieces! It was obvious I was home but they never came to the door to ask where I wanted it, just texted and said it had been delivered. I had to scramble to get some men to help me get it in my garage because rain was coming. Back of vanity was broke. I called and the lady at Ellis said “well it was curbside delivery and didn’t have to be signed for”. I asked her how she would like her $1300 vanity dumped in the driveway and she just went silent. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!ll. This is the first review I have ever left for a company so you know it has to be bad if I’m doing a review

Received my stuff from another company after a cross state move and treated it well. Kendell came out and moved all ym stuff in. He was on time, Courteous, and very helpful! He listened to all my instructions and helped me lay out where I wanted my stuff. When we thought a box was missing, he ran through the entire inventory again until we found it. Great service!

I AM BEYOND FURIOUS! I was hoping that Ellis would prove me wrong despite all of these negative reviews, BUT NOPE. I do not understand how they are even in business! They NEVER and I MEAN NEVER answer the phone. NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER! I was called Friday and was told my bedroom furniture would be here today between 11AM and 3PM. It is now after 5PM and NOTHING. No call, no update, no NOTHING! I am left without a bed for only God knows how long! This is ridiculous and it isn’t right!!!

I guess I didn’t have the negative experience everyone else keeps talking about, my delivery went great, the driver called 30 minutes ahead, both guys were nice and respectful, they got everything set up FAST!. I used this service because I couldn’t move my new bed due to recent neck surgery and was very impressed, would definitely recommend.

We chose Ellis because out of the 4 agents who came to bid our move from TN to TX, the agent seemed best prepared to take on our large move. We have a small farm and needed our home, a workshop, livestock items, and guest house all moved. I can honestly say, my experience with this company was the worst customer service I have ever received. The driver showed up on time for our scheduled move, but the help did not. 5 movers show up at 10:30 as well as the packers who work directly for Ellis. Because of this, I was unable to be all places at once and realized too late that the packers were placing just one item in a box when I was told there would be items grouped together. Then, the packers tell me they ran out of packing supplies and don't have enough to finish packing one of the tv's, a couple beds, lamps, and a few other miscellaneous items. Ok, no big deal - the driver will ensure they get wrapped properly I was told. At this point, I have already contacted the company to express my concerns. I felt it was put on me, the customer, that I must have not told her everything I needed the packers to pack. Also, at this time, I was informed that I was "already way over for my estimated packing." Well, let me tell you, the agent came and laid her own 2 eyes on my property to see what needed moved and packed. The movers decided they are done for the day at 4:30 and just leave. Not even half of the house has been loaded yet. I was also left with some of their lunch trash blowing around my driveway that I had to pick up. Next day they show up with 2 movers and get the semi loaded as full as they could. I should have had an entire semi for my move. Between the drama of going back and forth between agent and driver - I still have no idea how I didn't end up with an entire semi for our move. So, low and behold, we have to have an over flow truck arrive the next day to finish loading us. Late morning I still had not seen or heard from over flow truck so I called the agent. She was not aware I even needed an overflow truck!! So, had I not called who knows if one would have even showed up. That evening at 6pm he shows up. No help, just him. His help was 3 hours away. So, my Dad ended up helping the driver of the over flow truck load our remaining items so we could get moved before our house closed. The semi arrives to TX on time and unloading goes quick. Overflow truck won't be here for TWO weeks after our other items on first truck. I called and get a delay claim form that requires a list of things in order to submit it. I still haven't gone through all of our things, (1st truck just left a few days ago and still no 2nd truck), but so far I had to have driver mail a part to my Dyson and power washer that fell off in his truck, weed eater is broken, missing tv power cords, none of our shop shelving that was taken apart was put back together, kitchen table has large scratch, tool box has 2 drawers dented in and not functioning, livestock feed bin looks like someone took a chainsaw to it, and a multitude of other things that are damaged. I have been so patient and tried to be as understanding as I possibly can be through this awful experience, but I have tried calling North American as well as Allied with no returned calls and got disconnected multiple times after sitting on hold. My patience has ran out. Today, I finally got through to customer service, was told I'd get a call back, still have not heard anything back. As a customer, I'm greatly disappointed in the experience we had.

Avoid this company like you would avoid COVID. Picked up my furniture and did not inform me it would not go direct. Loaded furniture in two trucks and unloaded at terminal.ONLY DELIVERED HALF MY FURNITURE. It took one month to deliver balance. Sandy (owner) told me that was typical for their industry. This company is dishonest , unprofessional , and has no integrity.

This company has the worst customer service. They have had my mattress for 2 weeks and even after I told them that I would need an evening delivery (after 3 because I am a teacher and May is our busiest time), I was told I would have to see when the next available is. They continue to call me with 11-3 slots. They are not flexible at all and care nothing about the client. Buying from Sam’s, I expected better and will be contacting customer service there as well. Very disappointing that I have a $1000 mattress sitting somewhere because they are not willing to work with us. The lady scheduling also needs to learn phone etiquette.

Going against the grain of a lot of these negative reviews, I actually had a great experience with these guys. They called when they were thirty minutes out and arrived at the very beginning of the time window I was given. The movers were very professional and friendly in working with me. I had a mattress delivered; they brought in the new mattress (being sure to wipe their feet, as the weather was nasty) and placed it on the frame. They then hauled off the old mattress for me! I would definitely be willing to recommend them in the future ðŸ‘

The communication between Ellis and DreamCloud was not good, therefore my mattress delivery was postponed until it got worked out. The delivery guys, Casey and Thomas were polite and kindly assembled the base, then placed the mattress on top. They took my old mattress and box spring but said they weren't aloud to take the metal frame that held the bed. I thought that was strange.

After seeing the 1.2 star average, I was understandably very concerned about my couch delivery. I spoke with a lady (very polite) over the phone, and was told I would be called when my couch arrived. They called a few days later and told me the couch would be delivered a week later between 11-2. The delivery guys called me at 10:56 and said they were about 15 minutes away. They dropped the giant boxes off in my living room and left. I don't usually leave reviews, however, I feel a 1.2 stars is quite harsh.

Absolutely incompetent and ugly delivery company. They scheduled me for a delivery, didn't make the delivery, claimed no delivery was ever scheduled because the order from Article was split and one half had not arrived yet, were completely inflexible in re-scheduling a delivery, and lied and tried to gaslight me by telling me that I had told them not to deliver the first half of the order until the second half had arrived. Honestly, the worst customer service experience that I can remember having.

Like others, if I could rank them 0 stars I would. I had a 10a-2p window in which my couches would be delivered. I made sure they would give me a call 30 minutes before they would be there since I would be at work. I received a call telling me they had waited 20 minutes and were leaving. I then told them I never received the 30 minute heads up call, and she said the driver said they had called, but she would have them wait 20 more minutes. I was on my street 20 minutes later and saw the truck leaving. I begged them to please unload my couches, yes beg is the correct term, and they told me no and drove away. I immediately called the company and she said she was begging them to turn around, but they wouldn't. I am in complete shock and could never recommend them.

I would give negative stars if it were possible. I ordered a bed from Costco who uses a logistic company that contracted these clowns for the final delivery and set up. They received the bed on the 15th of the month, messed up the deliver address, and then could not correct their own mistake and wanted me to wail until the 7th of the next month for delivery. Add to that the fact that they were rude on the phone and not willing to lift one finger to go out of their way. I made sure Costco knew of my issue and encouraged them to seek another vendor. These clowns are INCOMPETENT and I would not hire them to walk across the street.
