Took my chainsaw in to get water out of the lines. After a week they call me and tell me it wasn’t running because of some other issues, charge me $130. That’s fine, maybe I was wrong, just wanted it fixed. Went home, ran it, no problem. Week later it won’t start. I’m annoyed but I know how equipment can be. Take it back into these guys. They then charge me another $130 to “fix it”. Says there’s water in the lines now. Take it back home and try to start it up. Still broken and blade won’t run. I’ve now spent $250 with them and 4 trips back and forth to the Hickory Blvd location. Fed up and disappointed, absolutely would not recommend and am not going back. Should’ve just bought a new saw at this point.

I got myself into a pickle one Saturday morning and needed a blade bolt for my mower. I called DTLS since it was the only place within 30 miles that had the part and talked to Joel. It was 11:30 and because they close at 12, I wouldn't have made it in time. He told me to come anyway and he'd wait for me before closing the store. All of this for a part that costs $4. I really appreciate that level of service and cant say enough about them. Even though I live in South Franklin, I plan to shop here for my lawncare needs. Thank you!

Had my mower over three weeks. Told me I needed a new battery that was less than a year old. The mower started fine when I loaded and unloaded the mower for them and removed key. I sent them the mower for a repeated blown fuse. Their solution was replacing the entire wiring harness and charged me over $300. I know time is money but the harness could have been spliced if bare wires were exposed. When I told them I wouldn't pay for the new battery they informed me my original was gone and they would just add labor hours to get their money. They might as well tell you it's a $300 minimum. Take your equipment to NASHVILLE LAWN EQUIPMENT. They are transparent on repairs, FAST!, and charge affordable rates.

These guys are the coolest. Always friendly. Helped me out in a pinch multiple times to keep my business going. Always have parts in stock. I only wish they started dealing Gravely mowers because that's what we run but other than that I always go with these guys

I ordered a lawn striper in early June from the Cherokee Road location. Told them I needed it by Father's Day. Never heard from them. Called on 7/10 and told them i no longer needed it, just credit back my card. They refused even though they never gave me the item, did not notify me it was in and did not deliver within my time frame. To top it off, they were extremely rude. I even offered to pay the shipping to return it... no deal. My card was charged $239 and I never received my item. Terrible service.

I recently had to replace an old Cub Cadet lawn tractor that the engine seized up on. Dickens not only gave me a series of options they took a lot of time explaining what would work best for me. I ended up buying a new zero turn mower at an extremely competitive price and when they delivered it (free) they once again took the time to run through the features and operation of the mower. I would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend Dickens.

Took my Toro mx5060 zero turn mower to get it serviced. It was time to service my hydraulics which I was not comfortable doing myself so I asked them to go ahead & perform both services. I was hearing a chirp starting to get louder on its way to being a squeal. They told me upfront a round figure of the cost for this service. I thought it was a little high but they are close to my house & agreed to go on. First time I cut my grass after getting my mower back, there was this incredible vibration that shook the entire machine & rattled everything. It was almost more than I could stand to sit on it. I knew it wasn’t blade related. I googled this problem & came to the conclusion I needed to bleed the hydraulic system. Went thru that procedure & was about to give up & take it back when I noticed one of the rear wheels looked funny. I realized one of them was backwards. The vibration was the tire rubbing on a bolt head. I turned the wheel around & mounted it properly & no more problem. This was a simple fix but it steams me that I paid a premium price for service & when I get it home I have to troubleshoot & fix something. Because they are close to me I will still buy parts there but if I have to take it somewhere for service or repair I think I’ll go elsewhere.
