This gym rules, best bang for your buck out of any gym in madison. The price is affordable, it's not ever overcrowded, theres plenty of equipment (cardio and weights), and lots of friendly people there always willing to spot ya if ya need it. This gym honestly changed my life, and I'm very grateful to have found it. Huge thank you to Competitive edge and the wonderful community of people who frequent this place. If you're new to working out and need a welcoming place to start your fitness journey, look no further!

I'm definitely not a bodybuilder but I'm in very good fit shape for my age. I have had my kudos from a regional chain upper management for my bodily gains. I am not a slouch. I decided to help my game and look at this gym. The doors were locked and when I got the attention of one of the members who is leaning against the front door he just looked at me and would not let me in so I could inquire about becoming a member. I guess my money is not good enough because from what I could tell, this guy was going to die of a heart attack shortly and had no reason to dis me, maybe he didn't like being embarrassed by an old guy. Good vibe, not crowded and people actually working out. Older equipment, and cushions need to be repaired. I like the boxing area; they have long bags for punching and kicking. I personally don’t care about the aesthetics, I like a place where it’s not a photo session just sweat and tears. Dropped a star due to padding needing to be replace.

Colin is an excellent trainer. Never crowded. Reasonable prices. Very secure building. Clean. Lots of machines. Love it there! Lots of individual attention if you want it

There aren't enough words to describe this one of a kind locally owned gym! The owner also has a supplement store just a few doors down making it very convenient and easy for post workout needs all the way from protein and energy drinks to even frozen meals in a small freezer!!! The gym is everything you could ask for with a wide variety of equipment, which is always kept squeaky clean by the owner himself. If a machine does happen to get faulty, the owner replaces or fixes it with great turnaround time. Overall, this fits the definition of a one stop shop for any gym goer at any level!!! I just wish there were more gyms like this around!

Phenomenal environment, very affordable, no contract, very clean, the hours are great, the trainers are very knowledgeable, especially Cam! The owner is wonderful and very down to earth and takes pride in his gym which is very obvious. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a local gym!

Great experience! Welcoming members and positive atmosphere! Very clean and health conscious. Just go, you won’t be disappointed, I did and now I’m addicted! If you really want to escape the things that harass you, what you’re needing is to be in the gym, and you will become a different person!
