Decent selection, the phone just rings whenever I call. Come to find out that they don’t actually have a phone so I’ll probably bring them one. I’m not sure what’s really going on at these stores-staff is attentive and helpful but the overall vibe is slightly unnerving-maybe it’s the result of serving a marginalized clientele and locations are in underprivileged communities.

I wish they would have had a bit more of a selection, but I did like most of the Jordan clothes! The manager of the store was very nice and helpful when I explained a situation that happened with online order as well. I will continue to shop there if I'm in the area.

12.19.23 update: The owner did a copy and paste apology the same as others I've recently seen. I do not believe it was genuine because too many people, I now see, gave a one star as I did. There has to be something else going on with this store for this to be the norm. Unacceptable!*12.19.23 They have a nice variety of clothing and shoes but the customer service is horrible! 3 people saw me walk in and said nothing. No greeting or asking if I needed help. One girl seemed to be following me around and I asked her if I Was In Her Way, she said no but only took a few steps over. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. I felt like I wasn't wanted in there. I watched them not greet others that walked in. I asked a question to which she didn't know the answer just to ease the mood & make small talk but no. It just felt rude so I left without buying anything and of course no one said thanks or have a nice day. I'm amazed at this level of service at this day and age. :/ I had a better experience next door at physical therapy ? I'm def not going back!

I just went in there to buy last min gifts. Keep in mind I speak Spanish but my first language is English. The workers was treating the Hispanic people bad and talking a lot of trash with other customer saying they need to learn to speak English if they been over here 1+ years. I translated for 3 customers to help them understand what she was asking which shoes they had. It breaks my heart to see people being treated like trash because they don’t understand. This is not how customers service to should be. If you don’t like your job find a new one and don’t be racist of all things. Definitely won’t be shopping here and neither will my friends. No I didn’t get the cashiers name because she wasn’t wearing a tag.Update: just got off the phone with corporate this isn’t the only complaint.

Used to love this location but the new staff of women are rude!! They stare out you when you walk in, no greeting and don't help you they continue to talk while you need help. I'll drive out the way to go to another location to avoid dealing with the rude staff that I've been dealing with this passed month

Had to actually ask for assistance even though there was 3 employees with no customers. Then while trying to get shoes the guy apparently "forgot" when I said that my youngest was keeping his shoes. I will NOT go back.

I encountered the worst experience ever. First.. i placed an online order for the hickory hollow location for shoes that showed as in stock and my order was canceled by the store. I completely understand that the inventory may not always be up to date when placing an order online however i did not receive and email/call or text saying that it was canceled and for what reason. I had to reach out to the call center to verify why it was canceled. Second.. after going back online to place another order for a different shoe (same day, minutes later) i received notification that the order was ready for pickup so i rush to the store to get my order only to be told that they are closing the store and i cannot get my order. This was within 30 mins of me receiving an email saying that it was ready. It was around 5/6pm and the store was supposed to be open until 9pm. I had to wait until the next day to get my order. Of course i called customer service and was told that i would receive a 10% discount and a call from leadership but i have yet to receive either. I will not be shopping here again.

The manager gone tell me they don't take Jordan's back so I called Corporate in corporate call, city gear, and then I called city gear and ask can I return my shoes the next day so I have to go take my shoes to city gear she would give me a card she told me That I had to spend the money back in the store right now she made me buy something I didn't even want it made me bad two extra heads talk about because I had to end up with a total of $230

Everyone needs to be fired. Waited 45 minutes and still didn't get any help. I finally just walked out .I asked the manager and the cashier for help. They act like they had more important things to look at on their phones.

Horrible Horrible customer service. They ignore you trying to spend money .waited for 30 minutes trying to get help,no help at all. The manager was even training someone, whom I directly ask for help. No help from her neither.

GHETTTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Went in there to get some shoes, they man couldnt find them. The lady at the register was on facetime talking to her home girl! Never got the shoes... just left!

First time visiting City Gear 06/07/2023. I purchased sweat pants, matching shirt and vest, Home Run ! Selection and customer service are top notch. I will defiantly visit and purchase more inn the future :) !
