We reserved a truck from this location weeks ago because we live in Madison only to find out the day before we were supposed to pick it up that this location didn’t have our truck and we have to drive an hour away now. Unacceptable and ridiculous I am so ticked off at this situation right now. It’s hard enough to move our lives eight hours away while four months pregnant, but this is a huge slap in the face to an already difficult situation. If I could give zero stars I would. The people who audit the trucks at this location need better training and to be ashamed of themselves.

I'm an Uber driver and chose to use Avis/budget. I used the vehicle for months on auto pay. One day I get a call the car hasn't been paid for in weeks they r threatening with the police and expecting me to bring the car it right at that moment. This was confusing to me because it had been on auto pay the entire time. So I cooperate and take them the vehicle. THE NEXT DAY THEY CHARGE ME 1800$! But wait... I thought the autopay wasn't working so how did they approve an 1800$ charge?? This corporation WILL put u in jail and take ALL YOUR MONEY. And don't think ur gonna call Madison office and expect them to be understanding because they are rude,dismissive, and not willing to take responsibility for what could have been a mistake in their end. I paid this company 300$ a week for months to be nearly put in jail and have all my money taken. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU.

Everytime I call or make a reservation for Uber rental they never have any available. I was only able to rent a car once from this company from a different location. It would be nice if Uber driver app would say there isn't any available or there is one available like Lyft does. I really like Avis rentals. They are clean and very low miles. Compared to Hertz. I'm not happy with Hertz but it's my only option right now.

I booked my truck rental online, and showed up to find out that there was no record of it, and that sounded like a pretty common thing for an online booking. Luckily the gentleman at the counter was able to find something (I actually got bumped up to a larger truck). Unfortunately over 2 days later the $150 deposit against my checking account had never come off nor had the charges been posted for the rental. I tried calling the local office at least 20 times with no answer. Called the corporate number and they said call the local office....merry go round, and they finally got through via a different number and got the local office to process the payment.

Omg! I should’ve read the reviews!!!! They are horrible! I have to move today and all of a sudden they have no trucks when I reserved a month ago!

Budget rips you off. Trucks were dirty/filthy, sticky, food all over, mud. Said tank was full but it was only half full. The dolly wasn't on the truck. No opportunity to check out the truck before doing paperwork. I was told I could have an extra night for the inconvenience. Instead I was charged double what I paid for the previous night. Budget refused to compensate me to any degree. Even though the franchise owner claimed he tried to get a refund for me. Corporate refused. My question is since it was his business why didn't he refund me the promised free night. Also the owner himself never contacted me. Just the clerks.

I hardly ever leave reviews unless the customer service is above and beyond, and today it was. Today it was very important that I get a rental car ASAP for personal reasons. I was unable to rent a car from other places due to them only taking major credit cards (not knocking employees, I understand they have to follow policy). However, Milan at this Avis/ Budget location helped me greatly and I was in and out within minutes with no hiccups. She was extremely helpful and genuinely seemed to care about getting me in a vehicle within a timely manner. This place is going to be my go-to from now on.

Paid for my truck up front 1 week ago. Owner called me 22 HOURS before I’m suppose to move cross country and says he has no trucks left. Computer error. Complete lie! DO NOT rent from this incompetent owner. He has zero regard for you.

1 star is generous. This particular location is extremely petty. The girl that works the location is extremely rude. Wouldn't recommend this location at all.

I reserved a truck a week in advance to move to Florida. I get there and They don't have the truck that I ordered and basically send me all the way to Franklin to get the size truck I needed. Even though I reserved it a week out they still didn't have what I requested and no phone call no nothing. Horrible customer service! And all he wanted to give me for my trouble is 20 bucks off the price. Are they serious!? I've lost three hours today with driving out of my way to get a truck plus gas and a lot of frustration. If I could've given them no stars I would have! Don't rent from this place! Go somewhere else!

Just. NO. RUN away from Budget! It's cheaper FOR A REASON! Rented a POS to drive from NV to TN. Truck was beyond NASTY, had to have been months since they had cleaned it. (Gave us a truck with 140,xxx to drive across country in.) Looked like vomit had exploded all over the front console. Console was falling apart. Windows wouldn't seal properly allowing water and a roaring noise to leak through causing a miserable 27 hour drive, as we were unable to listen to music or even talk over the noise. 12' truck took $90 to fill up, which is ridiculous. Some how exhaust fumes made their way into cabin. The truck didn't have a ramp and no one made us aware but they still happily rented us a useless $40 dolly. We weren't aware it didn't have a ramp until we were already back at the house with it. Truck shook horribly the whole ride. I emailed them, and if you do some research they take your $ and do not care if your experience was awful, they will dance around making it right. I bet there are numerous law suits against Budget.

I wish I didn't have to give them 1 star. Absolute worst rental outfit I've ever dealt with. I made a reservation over a week ago for a van and it was not at the location. I'm having to wait for them to get a truck and I don't have time for this. What's the point of having a reservation system if you can't train your people to actually use it. I guess you get what you pay for. SO glad I'm moving out of Madison, TN.

Terrible! I "reserved" a truck over a week before my move, then arrived to hear "sorry, we don't have any trucks". I replied that I had a reservation, which was met with "OK, but we don't have any trucks". Why exactly then does Budget make "reservations" on their website? Called U-Haul and they accommodated me right away. NEVER AGAIN will I consider Budget. Mismanagement times ten!
