The team at Athlon Sports is absolutely wonderful. The business can be a little hard to find, but thats because Richard and the crew dont waste money on frivolous things, they save all the value for the customer. Hs selection is out of this world and his prices cant be beat. He even purchases at a fair price.and always makes sure you know what you have. Great place, great people, they know their stuff.

I came here and was very confused because it's not exactly a card shop. It's more of a wholesaler. But it's one of the greatest collections of vintage cards in the very highest grades that I've ever seen. I wouldn't call it cheap, but the prices are fair. And the owner took 30 minutes or more to just spend time with me and talk about my passion for the hobby. If you're a hobbyist and in Nashville, you have to go.

As an amateur card collector who has frequented various shops always in search of the elusive addition to my collection. However this Easter weekend my stop at Athlon Cards/Memorabilia left an impression that can’t be erased! Not only for the remarkable inventory, but for the overall warmth and kindness the owner shared towards my son and two school students. Whether it was patiently assisting their favorite cards or sharing a quick story about sports and his career. It was heartening to see the smiles on the children's faces as they engaged in lively conversations and eagerly explored the treasures within the shop. Beyond merely selling merchandise, Athlon serves as a sanctuary where young minds can cultivate their passion for sports and form lasting memories. Without a doubt I recommend Athlon to anyone seeking top notch merchandise, along with a welcoming space for everyone to feel valued and appreciated. Thank you!

Took my son there this weekend and highly recommend visiting this store. The location may be a bit deceiving, but the experience was great. Richard really took the time for my son and he walked away with some great cards. Definitely check this place out.

The Best Visit ever as a walk in! Richard and Jeff both were wonderful, funny, informing amd super welcoming. You will be remiss of you dont visit these great gentlemen and one of the best collections I have ever witnessed in my entire life! Thanks gents for a great visit. When walk in there was this nice gentleman named Richard and it was my birthday weekend and the best birthday I ever had . He is so nice and he told me all cool stuff about this place and the best sports cards on planet earth and he has met so many sports Hall of Famers and like he'd have their cards. Awesome person, great, so nice.(This was written by my 10, almost 11 year old grandson, Hampton. He asked me to take him to Athlon and I thought we were going to a store. When we walked in, I realized it wasn't actually a retail store but an actual sports memorabilia warehouse with literally thousands of collectable items. We were greeted by Rickard Beck, owner of the company. He COULD NOT been nicer or kinder to us. He treated Hampton so special once he found out it was Hampton's birthday weekend and he was there to spend birthday money. We left after about 1.5 hours and a tour of the whole place with a lot of cards and a few other collectable things. Richard, you made Hampton's year and he was so excited to show his brother and dad all that he got. Thank you for making him great "deals" and being so friendly.)If you have a child or are a person who is a collector of anything sports, this is THE PLACE to go, More than you can ever imagine and so welcoming. We WILL be back!

We were in Nashville visiting family for Thanksgiving. Our son LOVES collecting football cards, so we were looking for a store to visit while we were in town. Athlon popped up on our map, so we decided to give it a try. It was pretty clear when we showed up that it wasn't a "store," but we opened the door anyway. We were greeted by Richard who graciously let us in. He literally made our son's day, probably week - honestly, by showing him around and allowing him to purchase a few boxes of cards. Richard was so incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and kind. We'll be in touch - THANK YOU!

Visited with my grandson who collects football cards. We were expecting a small shop but walked into a massive collection with everything you could imagine available! Even though my grandson was looking for just a few cards, the owner treated him like royalty and helped him find the cards he was looking for. Amazing business!

I’m a vintage baseball collector and all around card and memorabilia lover from Philadelphia PA. I’m in Nashville TN for just the weekend with my girlfriend and had to find a place to look at cards. I’m always looking for stuff to add to my collection (low to mid grade Clemente, Mays, Aaron 50s-70s HOF etc) and for stuff I can resell to cover some costs. I found some retail shops around but I was closest to Athlon. Saw online that it was a wholesale warehouse and other reviews that the owner is a nice guy. So we took an uber to an industrial section of town and found the store. For some the ride in might be unsettling but i knew that it was taking me somewhere special. We walked in completely unannounced and were greeted by Richard, one of the most friendly and welcoming individuals I’ve ever met in the hobby. He quickly explained to me what the scope and scale of the place is. Mostly high end amazing condition cards and pieces of mem. It’s 5000 sq ft jam packed of anything you could really want and most of his clientele is doing large deals at wholesale. So many autographs, sets, cards. With just a few hundred dollars as my budget for the weekend, Richard let me sift through some boxes of low to mid grade vintage. I made a couple stacks and he gave me the best price he could for sure! My favorite pickup was a raw 64 Clemente. I could probably spend all day every day going through the inventory here and picking out pieces i’d love to add to my collection. If I lived in Nashville, I’d ask Richard if he needed any help in the shop. I’d sort and organize for him for free just to be able to appreciate everything there. Will be doing business with Athlon and Richard again whether it’s online, over the phone, or when I visit Nashville again. 100% recommend, amazing experience for a young card enthusiast like myself. Grateful to have this new hobby connection.

Great guy! Walked in from out of town and not knowing what to expect. He had more memorabilia than I have ever seen! He hooked me up with an early Willie mays card for a good price! Amazing experience!

I went in looking for help and just someone to help me with my childhood collection that I haven’t seen in 30 years. But hey I found a place that helped me nice guys. They help me out and educated me on what I need to be looking for in the collection.
