Walked in with no appointment to have old lenses from old frame placed in new identical frames, was done right infront of me within minutes as was not charged at all for service. Will be my number one spot for any eyewear needs!!!

A couple of weeks ago I had called and advised Kathy at the Rivergate location in Madison, Tn that my left contact box was defective. She got on it right away. Asked me about the right side box and I told her I believe 2 of them were bad as well. When I tell you this lady was on it. Received a new box for the left side and 2 replacements for the right. Outstanding customer service ?

Came in to drop off my glasses to get fixed expecting to come by tomorrow to pick them up. Well, Kayla was on it and had them fixed, cleaned, adjusted and ready to go! Awesome work! It’s nice to see people who put out the effort in their work. Thank you Kayla! Everyone at the store was very friendly and professional! Definitely come here for your optical work!

Not the best customer service you'll get - still using the old "D" attitude - enthocentrism. Staff needs training in customer diversity - consistent on 3 staff I engaged. Doctor was great - the best manners.

I will never use America’s Best again. I’ve been to 3 of their stores now and each experience is just worse than the previous one. I always used Eyes for You in the past and only switched because of the location in proximity to where I live. But I’ve learned that it’s well worth the extra time in the car to save hundreds of dollars and have much more professional employees.I bought transitions for $200 but they don’t transition correctly at all. They literally turn fully dark when I go inside and are fully transparent when I am looking directly into the sun. They also leave marks on my nose, and sometimes they even have stripes on the glass. Literally half dark and half light. they are by far the worst glasses I’ve ever had a huge disappointment.I contacted America’s Best and they would not give any refund or any new transitions. Instead they gave me a free eye exam and 2 free pairs of glasses. But if I wanted to add glare protection it would cost an extra $88. And if I wanted to turn them into sunglasses it would cost $200.So now I’m stuck with two extra pairs of glasses that I cannot wear because the glare is so bad. Clearly every pair of glasses should come with glare protection and that’s not something you should have to pay $44 extra for. That’s ridiculous. And it’s deceptive because when you see the prices you have no idea until the end that you’ll have to pay this huge extra fee to have functional glasses.The two girls working in the front were both so unprofessional and rude to me. When I originally called to see if my voucher had arrived the girl who answered the phone just put me on hold and never came back to me. So I had to drive to the store just to make the appointment. Then I had to make another trip for the appointment and as I checked in I asked how long the wait would be. The girl working couldn’t pretend to care and just rudely said “I don’t know.Then I was yelled at by another girl about how I should have come when I manager was there. I didn’t even know what she was talking about but clearly that was their fault for scheduling my appointment at a time when no manager was working. When I asked how much extra the glare protection was going to cost she initially told me $200. My jaw was to the ground. She had such an attitude from the first moment. I just got the glasses without glare protection and left. I was told that Warren would email me when they were ready to be picked up. I never did receive an email from him.When I returned to pick up my glasses of course I found that the glare is so bad they are entirely worthless. I will definitely never use them. Why would they sell any glasses without glare protection??? Makes zero sense.And the employees were just as rude as ever. They fully ignored me when I walked in. After about 5 minutes of just standing there while a girl pretended to work on something- I finally asked- can I pick up my glasses? Then a woman walked over and told me “she’s not ignoring you.” Of course they all were but I hadn’t even said so.

My experience with American Best was wonderful Kathy took the time with to make sure I got the best I went the location at 1785 gallatin road even the eye exam as well as the eye doctor I am very please I will be going back

Miss Cathy and Mr Tim were too kind and patient. They have been super helpful especially when it came to helping me get my first set of contact lens. I also appreciate Dr. Lewis explaining my vision to me. This has been on of the best doctor visits I have ever had. Love them
