Movers were top notch. Everything arrived on time in perfect condition. Driver and helpers worked exceptionally hard to prepare and protect possessions.

let me just say that I appreciated all of the people we met and personally worked with from Allied. We did a cross country move and our rep, Jim Rhoades, out of Nashville, was exceptional, personable, and responsive to our needs and concerns. We did a lot of packing ourselves of the things we felt we could do: books, pictures, clothing, leaving the breakables to the professional packing team. I left before the packing team came to the house, so I did not see the packing job until our home goods arrived at our new home. When I opened the boxes that had my china and glassware I was pleasantly surprised and shocked that nothing was broken. The unloading team was fantastic. The guys were on time, quick and worked really hard. Roberto and his team were great!

How does one write one review without painting everyone involved with a broad brush? I would use the driver and helpers from Phoenix any day of the week for any move. But for the Nashville side they need to make some significant changes and improvements for a recommendation. It's like there are two separate companies, and each needs to be judged on its own merits and deficiencies. One was very good and recommendable, and the other was horrible.
The Nashville experience. Evidently there is a big disconnect between those who provide the quotes and set up the process and those in operations who are charged with executing the estimate. The estimator told us they would take into consideration the complexity of the steep driveway which would require more personnel, the grandfather clock (that he told us would be placed in a special box to move) and the amount of items. On the day of the move the lead showed up with one additional person. He was not warned or made aware of the steepness of the drive, the promise of a special grandfather clock box, or the logistics of the length of the driveway. He immediately made phones calls, which I could not hear except for little bits and pieces. Despite trying to hide it, I could tell he was very upset – and rightly so—that none of the particulars of the move had been given to him. He was able to get two “kids,” and they were kids – one was only 17 yrs old, from the Trinity warehouse. The “help” the lead was given was horrible. One kid put a hole in the desk hutch back panel before moving it 3 feet, they broke an upstairs wall by putting a whole in it – which we had to pay $200 to have fixed, and they did not know how to wrap. The Lead and older gentlemen ran around and tried to provide some adult supervision but it was more like day care than help. My wife took numerous pictures of the defective wrapping jobs and had to go back and tell them to either wrap or rewrap the bottoms of our furniture correctly and adequately for protection. I actually thought the Nashville Lead was going to quit because he was so upset by the kids actions – even catching them arguing and horseplaying at a customer’s home. You don’t move a customer’s antique piano by simply throwing a blanket over it; and you need to wrap ALL of the furniture’s surfaces that could be exposed to damage – especially the bottom edges. The pictures my wife took will document the claim and negligence. The Lead and his assistant were trying hard to deliver the experience we were expecting, but they were overwhelmed by the kids they were forced to use.
It was like a completely different company that handled the delivery in Flagstaff, Arizona. I was contacted several times by the driver (Tony) who had the load and we discussed the intricacies of not being able to get an interstate moving truck in the locations for delivery. He was not aware of the limitations – another disconnect from estimate to execution. I sent him photos of the location and he wanted to try first, but agreed to rent a 26-foot truck like we discussed with the estimator just in case it was needed. He said his folks were coming all the way from Phoenix because he wanted solid professional help. The three folks (Tony plus two) who handled the unloading at the storage unit and then the extra drop in Flagstaff were professional and experienced. They were the epitome of who you would want and expect from a moving company. Although we were placing a significant amount of the furniture and items into a climate controlled building, we were able to see some of the damage that the Nashville/Trinity location had caused. I estimate about 10-15% of our furniture has been damaged – needlessly, by a lack of trained help in Nashville. The 26-foot truck was needed and they were able to seamlessly integrate it into the plan.
I know, and have personally experienced, the difficulties all businesses are facing in getting good help. It is unfortunate that our experience was sullied by a couple of folks who just didn't care about del

Do not use this company. They are dishonest and most of our furniture arrived broken due to careless handling and packing.

Great company to move with. They do no not farm out the jobs to independent contractors which was important to us. Door to Dorr was seamless. The staff from move coordinator ,operations director, packing and unloading and driver were professional and seemed to genuinely care about doing a good job which is hard to find ! Thank you Coleman Allied!!

I dallied to ship all my household things and my two vehicles over 2500 miles. Not only were they very helpful in explaining the whole process and making things so much easier, they also packed and unpacked my things with care, and everything showed up in great condition and in a timely manner. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Allied was a trustworthy company with experience that I can rely on!

Allied was very thorough and very patient. When I had to switch apartments at my new location, they took it in stride. Driver was good. administrators did their job well. My stuff came through with no missing or broken items.

This was my second move with them and it was as easy and hassle free as my first one. Everyone I dealt with was great and the pick up and delivery team were especially good. I would certainly use them again.

Allied is a great moving company! I would highly recommend them to anyone. The move from Nashville to Florida went perfectly.

These people rip me off. 34 boxes were missing, and they said I got them. Some of these were family airlines along with my wife’s grandmother‘s antique kitchen gadgets. I wouldn’t recommend these people to move a pig for me. I’m going to post this everywhere in America I can.

My experience with Allied / Coleman was not the greatest. Moving day started around 12:45 pm instead of 8-10 am. Was told by Allied that my items would be just moved using a shuttle. The items were loaded onto a shuttle and then onto a Allied moving truck (semi). Hired Allied moving crew to load a couple freezers (which were full of food) and a refrigerator onto an expedite truck. They weren't wanting to load until I had to make a phone call. My expedite team loaded the refrigerator onto their truck (but I paid Allied to do this). Then comes delivery day. That day was to be on Tues Nov 14 between 8-10 am. Made a call around 2:10 and then finally received a call from the driver stating he would not be to my residence until the following morning (Wed Nov 15), between 8-10, which they did show up around 9 am.I paid a lot of money for this move and the experience stunk. Would not recommend them. Doesn't even deserve 1 star

Awful experience. Truck surpassed the agreed upon delivery window. Move coordinator offered zero support and was extremely unempathetic. We were forced to spend thousands of dollars on hotel stays as we waited for the truck to arrive. Company said that since the truck had maintenance issues, they weren’t responsible for anything. This was our 3rd cross-country move and it was by FAR the worst experience we have had. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anybody that is in need of moving services. Ever.
