Had 3 interviews was offered a position and when I asked why my actual offer was $3,000 a year less than I was verbally offered, they rescinded their offer. I even spoke with their human resources department on numerous occasions asking if I should accept other offers, if I should continue to interview, and each time I was assured that I was being offered the position and definitely not to continue interviewing, or to move forward with other offers. I was expecting the human resource person to contact me with something like that is our offer at this time, and a review of my performance would be done in 90 days or so, and an increase in salary would be discussed at that time. Actually, I was prepared to sign the offer and just inquired as to why I was offered something different and was told to hold on, and it would be looked into. Do not sign anything is what I was told. Then, after waiting several days, I receive a letter stating they are rescinding the offer because they decided not to hire anyone at this time. Three interviews, and promises that I was being given the position. Missing out on other opportunities because I really thought that the company was going to be a great fit for me and wham!! An oh well so sorry we just decided not to hire anyone at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience. I really feel like it was handled in an extremely unprofessional manor. You can take your chances if you want, but here I am once again looking for full-time work and really sceptical of all the companies out there now.
