Giving 3 stars because the guys I spoke with in store were great. HOWEVER, I went in to sell a firearm that is actually valued at $650-$725 used (which I'm sure of, I have the proof) and the owner wanted to give me $250. His excuse was that they sale for $400. Absolutely no ethics in this guy. Go elsewhere.

Wonderful place in all aspects. The owner & employees are very helpful and want to help you. They always ask if I need any help or have questions. Their prices are always beyond reasonable. They offer more money than other local pawnshops have for anything I’ve brought them. I highly recommend going to see them.

AW is my first stop for a deal on tools, firearms, music equipment, jewelry and an occasional pawn. Quick and simple transactions without the hokey pokey and attitude present at other pawn nearby shops.

By far the most predatory spot in Nashville. Doesn't matter if you're a long time customer, if there's a pandemic. Won't wait an extra day and will gladly sell from under you. Avoid at all costs. If you want receipts. I will gladly give them, because this guy is subtly the worst. It's better to sell than pawn cuz he's gonna steal It from you anyways.

Very honest. We bought and sold a guitar for an amp here. I was expecting there to be undercut on the guitar and overcharged on the amp. Not at all. Very pleased and will be back.

I can't say enough great things about Jeff and David at A-Wise Loan. I have been working with Jeff for all of my used equipment needs , musical instruments, camera gear, pretty much anything and everything you can think of . They have always been Fair, very knowledgeable, ethical and to the point. It's the only pawn shop I've stepped foot in for the past 30 years. I don't go anywhere else. Went to two other pawn shops before coming to this one and these guys were not only way more friendly but also offered me quite a bit more than the previous spot. 10/10 would go back there if I needed to pawn or sale anything!
