Im sure this place is great. Im sure the owners are "very fine people"
Im sure they are getting a lesson in the true nature of liberalism, and the "liberal community"
See how nice you were? Dont you see the community that you went out of your way to help, by keeping your prices low- a community of affluent people, all coming together to help you now that you are in need! Arent they great people!!
None of those people are going to pay your rent. Unfortunately you are about to learn a lesson about mixing leftist politics with the reality of human nature, money, and business.

It is a great hidden gem. An excellent selection of hot sauces and unique treats and the best vegan cupcakes. I go there often and always find something new and the staff is great!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, parking lot was really full, hard to find parking. Some produce but not a lot, some trinkets and items too. Inside is a food hall essentially with different vendors and whatnot, nice spot to hang out but nothing really caught my eye. Good spot to wander around for a bit but didn't stay here for too long.

This is not a farmers market in any way in my book.Edinburgh farmers Market? Kyoto farmer's market (Nishiki Market)? Ferry Plaza SF? Las Ramblas, Buenos Aires...blah blah blahThose are farmers market with beautiful produce, meats, prepared foods, sundries etc.Nashville's is a bunch of food stalls...mediocre food stalls and tourist shops.PASS

Went during the week. Not much produce outside. But the facility is great. Would like to try again during peak times.

I love everything the farmers market has to offer EXCEPT THE NEW BBQ spot ! I paid $22 for a sandwich plate with and extra side and didn't even eat half of anything ! The brisket sandwich was dry my bread was cold from the fridge , my Mac and cheese gave stouffers freezer and the bake beans tasted alright ! I really wish b&c bbq didn't get replaced with this pop pop trash meal !

Who doesn't love a farmers market?According to their history page, there has been a CITY MARKET building in Nashville since 1802. The original was only 40 feet long and was replaced in 1829 and replaced again in 1937 with what was considered at the time to be the 2nd best city market in the U.S.A. Today it still stands as the Ben West Building less than a mile from the current Farmers' Market which was renovated in 1995. It features two open-air sheds, an air conditioned Market House on its north end, and a garden center on its south end. The two open-air sheds are huge, each about 270' long x 50' wide with metal roofs and concrete columns that shield the vendors who set up shop within their protective canopy from rain and sun. It appears these vendors set up and tear down their shops daily. The two sheds and garden center are surrounded by a tall metal fence and are accessed through several gates leading to the south parking area. The north parking area near Locklayer Street is closer to the Market House. Inside is a spacious food hall with lots of natural light and a wide variety of eateries. We chose CHICAGO STYLE GYROS and SUCCULENT VEGAN TACOS, but with so many options it was really hard to resist not sampling a little of everything! On the day we visited there was live music provided by a solo artist near the 7th avenue entrance. Additionally, the nationally acclaimed Market House offers some 20+ restaurants and artisan shops. Also, just outside the Farmers' Market are the Tennessee State Museum and Bicentennial Capitol Mall. Those who appreciate history and nature will find lots of enjoyment walking off their meal here. Be sure to check out the Bicentennial Carillon, the Rivers of Tennessee Fountain, the Tennessee Map Plaza and the walk through time starting One Billion Years Ago to 1996 on gorgeous black granite monument signs.ENJOY2023 / 35

Pros. Lots of food options for a group all craving something different. A fair amount of seating a relatively clean public bathrooms. Live music too! Cons. Almost no retail stores anymore. Bit that place to stop if you want unique Nashville items.

Many Places To Eat and Drink, Large Marketplace, Nice Garden CenterWe went to check it out in early May on a Tuesday. No problem parking in their own lot as there were not many people there. We started in the open farmers market (it is covered by a roof) and found very few farmers with produce and only a few crafters selling their products, but the space is very large and can accommodate many vendors. We then walked through the garden center that had gorgeous plants and a variety of yard decor. Then we entered the Market House where there are numerous food vendors offering great looking eats from all over the world. Beer, wine, soda, teas, coffee, etc. widely available. I believe there were also a few gift shops. I enjoyed a craft beer from The Picnic Tap and my wife gave in to some ice cream from Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream. A fun place to visit, have a snack and people watch.

During weekday hours, there is still so much going on at this farmers market. There are some solid food options here that really make the trip worthwhile. I would be very much interested to see how the market would be on a more busier day-during the weekend with all the stalls outside.

I love coming here on a Saturday or Sunday morning. So many great places to eat, drink, and shop at. I got this delicious Bulgogi Kimbap at Bowl & Roll for $9. I cannot wait to try more food at this great Korean fusion restaurant.I also shared this amazing wood-fired pizza at Bella Nashville Pizzeria topped with mushroom, olives, and so much prosciutto . There are so many stands with fresh pasta, vegetables, meats, honey, and more! I also bought this adorable antique cup candle. Can't wait to come back soon!

Friendly store owners with a variety of international grocery, snack and beauty care items. You can find some really cool and unique stuff here from around the world. They even have fresh produce.
