Deceptive Billing Practices. Booked through Hilton.com, NOT a third party site for $280 per night, 2 nights. Checkout indicated $563.90. I processed payment only to be charged $893.93. There was a $330.03 ‘ Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees’ that wasn’t present anywhere clearly before processing payment.

As a Hilton and Marriott owner, this is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to leave a review for a hotel. Although I couldn’t stay at [Hotel Name] due to personal reasons, the front desk agent, Eric, was so rude and unprofessional during my visit that I felt obligated to share my experience. He dismissed my questions, was unwilling to assist, and even questioned my English skills. This was far from the high standard I expect from Hilton, and it’s disappointing to experience such treatment as a fellow hotelier.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Bankers Alley Hotel to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. Unfortunately it was the worst hotel experience I have had. From the moment we arrived, issues started piling up and they culminated in a complete disaster regarding my belongings.
After waiting some time for the valet to show up, I finally had to go inquire about this with the front desk and it was as if I was inconveniencing them that they had to call to find out where he was... You would think if you are paying $70 to valet, they would be a little friendlier. They had no idea he wasn't out there and had to call to ask where he was.
The room itself was cramped with barely enough space to move around. There wasn't even a window. To make matters worse, there was hardly any counter space in the bathroom, making it inconvenient to get ready.
However, the biggest issue arose when I realized I had left behind an expensive jacket and several dresses in the closet. When I returned the next day to retrieve them the front desk said they checked with housekeeping and they "couldn't find them." I was shocked and frustrated, especially considering the value of the items that were left. This might not be a big deal to some, but I am a first grade teacher and cannot afford to go out and buy all new clothes. In addition to that, one of the dresses that was left was sentimental.
Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. The combination of rude staff, disorganized valet service, cramped accommodations, and the loss of my personal items made for a truly disappointing experience. Save your money and look elsewhere.
I will certainly not stay here again and would even reconsider staying at a Hilton after this.
You have been warned.
Rooms: Cramped room, no counter space, and no window.
Safety: Watch your belongings in the hotel.

Nice clean hotel. Location is great. Booked for $100 through Priceline, not sure it’s worth the typical $400+. Appears to have recently been updated. No ice machines on the floors, called the front desk and they said they’d bring some up which never happened.

Disappointing Anniversary Stay – Felt Like We Were Just Being Upsold
We booked Bankers Alley for our anniversary, expecting something special, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. After traveling all the way from Florida to escape Hurricane Milton, we were excited to enjoy some quality time together. However, from the moment we arrived, things went downhill.
Upon check-in, the woman at the front desk was unwelcoming and immediately tried to upsell us. She called our original room a “college dorm” and suggested we pay $25 for an upgrade. We were surprised and frustrated by the suggestion, especially since this was our first time at the hotel, and we were hoping for a special experience without being nickel-and-dimed.
We ended up in a room that was the furthest from the elevator, with no view and a tiny window, clearly designed for business travelers and not a couple celebrating an occasion. The room was far from romantic or inviting. To top it off, despite booking this stay for our anniversary, the hotel did absolutely nothing to acknowledge our special occasion.
Overall, we felt like we were just being upsold the entire time instead of being valued guests. This was supposed to be a memorable trip, but Bankers Alley left us feeling disappointed and overlooked. Definitely not what we expected, especially after traveling such a long way.
@hilton look us up. We were there 10/10 room 522

My stay was not good taking that this was supposed to be a nice hotel I'm disappointed, when I got there they was doing some type of work on the hotel and it was pretty loud on the floor I stay on the 8th floor, my door wouldn't open when I arrived housekeeping had to help me and from that point on I had to wrestle with the door my whole stay, opening the door was so hard, unacceptable. My AC unit was so loud my first night on top on construction, maintenance had to come because they couldn't chance my room due to be oversold idk if he broke it but from that point on its way hot in my room. I stayed at hotel cheaper and had a nice time then this, and I work for Hilton I'm so upset at this outcome and all they gave me was point. I'm never staying there again. I thought this would a nice stay taking this was my last week working for Hilton I wanted to stay at some of the nicest hotels before I leave I'm so bummed cause that hotel was a disappointment.

Was notified four days prior to my stay that renovations were not completed therefore they didn't have a place for me to stay. They moved my reservation to the Holiday Inn Express ?

This hotel is in a good location with close access to Broadway and the hotel room was nice. However, our room was not ready at the 4:00 pm check-in time and we were sitting around waiting for a room to be ready. One of the people at the front desk was particularly rude to us and seemed inconvenienced if we asked any questions. The hotel is undergoing rennovations, which we knew beforehand but they also seemed to be very shortstaffed.

Place was a very nice setup for a hotel bar. It's off the regular path hence alley hotel. Staff was nice and drinks was solid. Didn't like no taking cash aspect and one male bartender was very friendly or wanted to do with anything my group was ordering. The female bartender was attentive and awesome. For her, I would go back.

It was just "ok". I'm sure it will be better once rennovations were completed.
We stayed for 2 nights and brought our dogs with us. The first room we stayed in had AC unit issues and it took 3 or 4 phone calls to the front desk to get someone up to take a look at it. Eventually they just moved us into a suite down the hall - which was a nice spacious room but by and large, service was lacking throughout our stay.
It took a few follow up calls with the desk to get maintenance and to get our car pulled (we didn't get the valet text we were supposed to - so we could request via text).
Its in a nice walkable location close to a small park where the dogs could hangout. I Wouldn't stay here again until rennovations are complete.

Clean, spacious rooms. Short walk to Broadway. Extremely nice and professional service.
Natalie and DiCarlo did great! Were kind, professional, and worked hard to accommodate. Even with the place under renovations it was a great stay. They did a great job.

This will be a nice hotel soon. However, right now there is too much up in the air for me to want to stay again soon. Construction inside the hotel has relocated many things including the front desk and the breakfast room. Thing are accordingly in flux. The room was very nice, but if you are hot natured it takes longer than I would have liked to cool down. The setting only had low and the vent was small for the room. It ultimately got there, but it took me an hour to cool down.
On the positive side, the staff was VERY nice and accommodating. Most of my concerns stem from the construction. If you do reserve, watch a few nights at n advance as the price dropped $100 per night. We canceled and re-reserved.

My stay at Bankers Alley was nothing short of phenomenal.
From the moment we stepped into the lobby after a long flight, we were greeted by an incredible staff with positive attitudes and treated like kings
The facility is spectacular, showcasing beautiful design and incredible recent renovations. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, reflecting the rich culture of Nashville, and maintained to the highest standards. The fragrance in the lobby is enchanting, leaving you wanting more. We stayed in the King Suite, which featured spacious bathrooms, a stunning view of the bridge, and comfortable beds.
The suite included an iron, bathrobes, towels, and excellent shampoo and conditioner, though there was no hand soap—a minor detail I'm sure will be addressed. I highly recommend this hotel if you're seeking a quiet, cozy place to stay. It felt like stepping into a luxury Fifth Avenue apartment complex.
Overall, it was a 5-star stay with 5-star service and a 5-star experience, conveniently located just 4 minutes from the famous Broadway and a minute's walk from Printer's Alley, which has its own fascinating history.

So the overall hotel is pretty cool but it smells like a sewer for some odd reason. Everytime i walk into my room it smells awful.
I also left another review on Friday night because the night time staff was amazing, i believe her name was Brianna she was amazing and very sweet.
But on Sunday early afternoon, i called the front desk to report the awful smell again, a man named Terry came to inspect it and he said he smelled nothing which was absolutely crazy to me because the two other ladies that were in the room with me smelled it. I mean it’s something you can’t overlook. It may have been mold because i reported a very moldy and dirty shower curtain but a very nice lady named Jessica came and changed it and i was very appreciative. But anyway, Mr. Terry came back to the room and i requested a room change he said okay I’ll let the front desk know but u don’t think he did because he came back again and poured some stuff down the drain in the shower after he had told us beforehand he didn’t smell anything. He said to wait an hour.. so I’m like okay. We went out and came back to the same horrible smell! I had to get another room somewhere else because the smell was so awful. Today, i went back to get the rest of my belongings and the smell was still there. It was horrible. I hate that i had this experience because the hotel is nice and so is the surrounding area. Hopefully no one else will be ignored after reporting an issue like this. Especially with the cost and the expensive valet parking.

**Average Stay - Not Worth the Price (Yet)**
I recently stayed at the Bankers Alley Hotel in Nashville, and overall, my experience was average. The room was clean and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, I was disappointed to find only two pillows on the bed. As a regular at Hilton properties, I’m accustomed to having at least four pillows, so this felt like a miss in terms of comfort.
The service at the front desk during check-in was good—staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which limited the available services. I didn’t use the gym, but I was disappointed to learn there wasn’t a pool. Given how hot it was during my stay, a pool would have been a great way to cool off.
I was particularly excited to try the hotel restaurant, but it was closed, presumably due to the ongoing renovations. This was frustrating, especially since there was no information about the closure on their website. It felt like a missed opportunity for transparency and guest satisfaction.
On the positive side, the hotel’s location is fantastic—close to Broadway and other great spots for dining and entertainment. However, when it comes to value for money, I feel like I wasted both points and an extra $500. This hotel simply isn’t worth the price in its current state. To top it off, valet parking costs $60 a day, which is just outrageous.
In summary, there were no standout features or memorable experiences during my stay. I’m sure once the renovations are complete, this hotel might be great, but for now, it felt more like a stay at a Hampton Inn with a $500 price tag. Overall, my stay was just okay.
