They are great as usual. This was the 5th time our family used Zippy and we'll keep using them! Highly recommend. On time. Nothing broken. Hardworking and accommodating. All around pleasant.

ZERO STARS.We were misled about the transit time.We expected everything to arrive at our new place in 7 to 10 days. That was not the case. It was not 7 to 10 days, it was 8 to 10 Business Days. Also, the first business day, Friday, did not count! Moreover, "transit" only meant from one warhorse to another. After that we had to wait for the "Redelivery" from the destination warehouse. That schedule could not have been know by the salesperson in advance so he should never had suggested an overall timeframe.

Warning: don't use this company, go with pods or someone else. Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance and zippy shell lacks any sort of integrity or performance.1. They told us 7 to 10 day delivery, turned into 3 additinal weeks after the 10 days- already made the drive to the new destination. No communication attempts were made to advise of the delay. Not to mention the container did arrive to the new location within those 10 days, but they somehow had no one to deliver it. Freight is competitive, but it ain't that bad. Yes, might be peak season, but you had 1-2 months to plan this route/delivery while taking into consideration the current environment plus forecast yearly trends.2. They had the audacity to charge my credit card before delivering to my house as promised, scam vibes. They advised the second charge wouldn't occur until DELIVERY but felt entitled to my money before living up to their end of the bargain.3. I had to pick my household goods up myself from their distribution warehouse. Cost me a pretty penny to arrange frieght and labor- amazing how I could do that within 24 hours but this company couldn't with 2 months of planning.4. They only refunded me $300 out of $3k ( the monthly container storage fee I shouldn't have paid to begin with and a fuel surcharge) but I'm sure they scam people this way all the time.5. They say they support military, they don't. I'm a veteran snd my husband is active duty, we went with them because they work with military. Seems more like they use it as a selling point and don't care as long as they get their money before they deliver your goods. Very money driven company without a care for their customers.A more reasonable refund would be 40% of the entire shipment, especially since I had to arrange my own frieght, labor and delivery to the home- something your company was supposed to do and were paid for but didn't fulfill on, although you wanted to steal my money. The $219 I was refunded I shouldn't have had to pay to begin with and Fuel surchage... ok cool you decided to eat that with the carrier, still not enough when you consider the snowball effect that has had on my life.

Military families. DO NOT. I MEAN DO NOT use this company for a PCS. They have been the worst experience of my entire life. I had the company create me a quote (fair I guess, but for 2100 pounds it ended up costing 3500). They did offer one free month of storage so I appreciate that. The storage was 189 for my situation.

This review is for delivery and live loading for a cross country move. First, the positive: the folks loading the shell were great. But here's what didn't go great. 1. They told me the delivery window was from 8 am to 12 pm. Its also what's listed on the website. When no one showed up by noon, I called--sitting on hold for 30 minutes--only to be told, that the window was from 8 am to 8 pm. 2. But the rep said "well, they'll call you before they come." I said "how much time?" An hour she said. As you can imagine, someone preparing for a cross country move may just have a few errands to run. But...once someone lies the first time, they're not trustworthy. So, I had my mother wait at the house. And guess what happened? 3. Not only did they not call an hour ahead, they didn't call at all! Even though that is what two different reps said they would do (I had called customer service 3 days before the move to see if I understood how it would work.). And the guys who showed up? Said no one told them they were supposed to call. 4. The lock. The website says--in bold letters--that you can use your own lock or they will provide one for free! Guess who showed up with no lock? The day of my move? And said I was suppose to have one? The loaders I paid zippy shell for! 5. Tie downs. I've used pods before. You tie things down. I bought tie downs. The professionals said "its not necessary." I asked again. Nope! I said I had them! "We have our own if we need them." Now, I haven't picked it up yet. Maybe nothing moved. But it was clear to me that they didn't want to take the time to do it. I paid for 3 hours, and they were clearly behind schedule and working swiftly. And don't get me wrong, they seemed skilled. It was expert work....except the refusal to secure a single thing in order to save time. 6. I sent an email of complaint. I got an email with a one sentence apology from a man named Mitchell. And was told to call them. I called. I got another 1 sentence apology. I asked, respectfully but firmly, "What am I supposed to do with your apology? Are you going to do anything to explain what happened or to make it right? When every single thing about the day didn't happen as described? " Mitchell doesn't like direct responses. Mitchell got his feathers ruffled and said, "well, this is the first time I'm speaking with you." And then offered that I could call him if anything else went wrong. Well, is it supposed too? Should I *expect* more things to go wrong so that I'll need to call you? Yes. I should. I should expect more things to go wrong. And when I call Mitch, he will apologize, and not do a damn thing about it. UPDATE: ...and of course all of this came to pass. Guess who can't get her stuff delivered for 3 weeks, minimum...after it arrived in the destination city? Me! And I did email Mitch. And that's the one piece I got wrong, he didn't offer an apology. He completely ignored my message and didn't reply at all! Last pod service I used was ABF. Lovely company. Call them. But do not call zippy shell.

Save yourself some frustration do not go with these guys. Very poor communication very poor customer service. My shipment arrived at the destination warehouse actually much quicker than expected but it set for 10 days without me knowing because they never notified me. I called they said "we sent you an email". An email??? You guys have been texting me each step of the way and I'm supposed to know to check my junk mail (yes it was in the junk folder) for an email notification if I want you to deliver my items? They offered zero apologies except to say it was all automated. Then they make me wait another 8 days for delivery. I asked repeatedly to speak to a supervisor or someone who can help, they refused. I said I wanted to file a complaint they refused to put me through to anyone to file a complaint. When I setup this move hey said it would be around 12 days total 24 days later I had items. The delivery day came and they showed up late. I guess at this point I'm just happy to have everything delivered but I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Zippy shell Las Vegas was spot on!!!! Nashville side has been a horrible experience. They will not answer their phone. Held my belonging for an additional 10 days because ‘overbooked’. Finally delivered and now can’t get a response to pick up the ‘shell’. Trying to call corporate AGAIN to resolve, with no luck. I would NOT recommend zippy shell. extremely disappointed.

Today I call Zippy Shell to follow up with a quote I received online. I spoke with Erin. Wow! What a great face for Zippy Shell. Someone who really cares, professional, knowledgable and very polite. Customer Service alone means as much as the price to me. After speaking with other companies today, I realize that Zippy Shell is the top choice.

Run, don't walk away from this company. Don't give them any personal information, card numbers, phone number, etc. We just spent 26 days in an empty new house with to beds, no chairs, no clothes, no towels and wash cloths, no nuthin'. Only had on the clothes we drove up to our new home wearing. You can't talk to anyone at the company above the kids in the call center.

Worst mistake I did was to hire these clowns. They are a joke. 1st They promise to help unload they didn't and charge me for it. 2nd They were to deliver it out of state and they had pack rat take over once out of state. 3rd pack rat couldn't deliver it to our new home had to hire a local company to pick it up at their warehouse and deliver it to our new home. They promise to reimburse me for needing to hire movers and didn't even pay the right amount. BEWARE OF THIS AWFUL LYING COMPANY!

I understand several people had great experiences with zippy shell, but mine was terrible. First I wad told I would have 3 days to load my things, I had less than 2 before they picked it back up. Then when I requested redelivery of my pod, I was scheduled for 8a to 12p delivery. They called me at 1030 to ask if 12 to 2 would be okay. I accepted. By 430 I had neither seen nor heard from them. When I called to check if I was still going to be delivered that day, they told me they would contact the driver. It was not until 530pm the driver called for instructions to get to my road. I had an entertainment center that was broken in transit. I let that go because it was cheap. I was told I would have 3 days to unload. I was only given 1 full day to unload and then early the next day they came to pick up the pod. Fortunately it was empty. I was ready to be done with them after all this. A week later I was charged for an additional months storage and I no longer have anything stored with them. Currently I am unable to reach anyone for assistance with the additional charge or refund. It was a terrible experience all around for me personally with the exception of the gentlemen who set me up. He was amazing.

Says open til 4pm on Saturday. Called, couldn't even talk to a human, and said they were closed. Tried to spend money with them but guess they have enough business and don't need it. What a joke.

We used Zippy Shell for our cross country move from California to Tennessee and had nothing but bad experiences from the beginning. They were almost a full day late dropping off the storage pod and it has now been over three weeks since they picked up our pod in California. We have now been in our new home in Tennessee for almost two weeks sleeping on air mattresses with no furniture and they can't give us any information on where our pod is. It's absolutely ridiculous and I don't recommend this company to anyone! I'll update this review when we actually do receive our pod as well. ***UPDATE*** After numerous frustrating phone calls the last two days, and getting nothing but run around... we finally got someone to tell us our shell JUST NOW left the California warehouse. They have had our stuff since NOVEMBER 5th!!! Now they are saying it won't be delivered to the warehouse here in Nashville until DECEMBER 3rd! From there we still have to schedule the delivery drop off to our apartment! They have had our stuff almost a whole month by that point, when they usually guarantee an 8-13 business day delivery!!! DO NOT USE ZIPPY SHELL!

I can only speak on the way that I have been treated to answer some of the most basic questions that I have asked. I don't feel that being put on hold 3 times in excess of 40 per call is the correct way to treat people. I don't think that someone should tell me "if I have time" I would email you. That was said several times. I like the trailer. I hate the service. They could improve by learning from their communication issues. Instead, the implication was that perhaps I was involved in that communication issue. I am beyond words.
